If Kizuna Ai, was the first vtuber idol that paved the way for the massive vtuber communities that we have today, Hoshimachi Suisei of Hololive 0th GEN, just paved the way for other vtuber MUSIC to be recognized by the WORLD! She is a star.
Yeah, it's kinda weird to me that a bunch of vtuber fans seem to not understand that this is kind of a big deal.

@@casteanpreswyn7528 People from all over the world, of different ethnicities, react to the first take, religiously on their channels. And so far it has been incredible to see all these First-Take reactors be flabbergasted by Suisei's performance. After hearing that, they will most likely check out her music and will continue to spread her name around, creating a domino effect of newcomers discovering the other talents that Hololive has to offer.
@Elkai Dred yes, but that doesn't contradict my comment. A bunch of vtuber fans see this as either nothing special, or even worse a bad thing. They fundamentally fail to understand how important this was.
@@elkaidred0512 Yup, saw on the HL Reddit a reaction by a couple of middle-aged Danish people who didn't even seem to know that vtubers were a thing but had some familiarity with Jpop and they were blown away.
Knowing Suisei's backstory definitely makes this hit hard. The world can be a cruel place that doesn't always reward talent or hard work, so it just makes me happy seeing Suisei beat the odds and rise to the top.

I think everyone teared up. We know her, we know her story and what this means for her.
True its been a long road ever since the day she decided to take this path. I feel like a father seeing my daughter continue to achieve greatness. I actually teared up since I am able to hear her raw voice and emotions of the song. She is not a diamond in the rough anymore but a shining comet singing to the world.
Who won't be nervous when she the literally FIRST Vtuber to be on TFT with big expectation and carrying the big load on her shoulder. She slayed!!!

Totally a milestone for Vtuber
There were some Vtuber who did a video inspired by The First Take in the past.
They recorded one song in one take in a similar background, eg. Sora sung "Sukinaichaisouda" ("I love you so much, I think I'm going to cry").
But Suisei is the very first Vtuber who did an official first take in THE FIRST TAKE.
I've watched multiple reactions, and I find myself on the verge of tears every time. She's too powerful. So much emotion in her voice as well as experts behind those instruments.

Songs on TFT are tend to be more emotional / powerful than the original version because the musicians & singers only got ONE TAKE. That's why they went beyond 100%, they gave it all for that very moment. I'm so proud of Suisei, her journey as a singer is truly inspiring.

Apparently there were a lot of skeptics in the pre-chat, not surprising, a lot probably don't even know what a Vtuber is. They were judging her from the start, which just adds to the immense pressure already. Her manager told her to skip the warm up, and just go out there and start singing to shut them up. And she did that and more. 3m views in less than 24 hours and still growing. This was history here. Knowing suisei's story and struggles, especially since she just came back from throat surgery not that long ago too, and this performance, who can't help but cry. Even new people are crying and they never even heard of her. This is the best stellar stellar I've ever listened to. It warms my heart knowing suisei has taken another step closer to her goals.
Manager: "You know what, fuck 'em. Go out there, don't even prepare, just wreck their faces."
Suisei: "Copy that." *Proceeds to slay her song in one take, live.*

As nervous as she was, there was no doubt that Suisei would put in a Stellar (Stellar) performance. Remember that her first take of 3:12 astounded InoTaku and could've been used for the final product but she insisted on doing more.
I cried bro, I know her struggle to get here. Her voice is very beautiful. I remember a time when I can't watch her stream because her voice was such a turn on.

InoTaku was even more nervous than her. You can see him on the guitar. I've been watching THE FIRST TAKE since shortly after it started and this was my favorite performance of them all. Suisei absolutely killed it.

nono, she is physically there, thats a requirement. they just use mocap and overlayed her avatar mimicing her movements over her actual body.

@@blvshies Well she is pretty confident about her singing, not so much about her mario kart skills. In other hand if it was a tetris tournament I don't think she feels nervous at all.
She was pretty nervous since in a way she was representing all vtubers being the first one on TFT. Thankfully, she did great!

Virtual Youber or Vtuber for short, she is part of an agency called Hololive Productions that has many virtual talents to answer your first question, the other two I suggest looking more into Vtubers & googling their culture. But contractually, she is not going to be face revealing anytime soon
