Not only is this an original song, the composer (Taku Inoue, seen here playing the guitar), made this arrangement specifically for The First Take, and Suisei wrote the lyrics for it.

Tho, Suisei actually writes her own lyrics. After that maybe another song called Ghost. She wrote Ghost with the themes of being a VTuber. Like, she might be so popular to the point of being on The First Take but she can take a walk outside and nobody would know she's Suisei.
Unsure if you recall or not, but this was not your fist time reacting to Suisei. You reacted to her song CapSule with her friend and fellow Hololive Vtuber Calliope Mori last year. Being on The First Take, and with this special stripped down version of this song, this is of course a better showcase of her sheer vocal ability than that was though. She’s a great overall talent though. And she puts out a pretty wide variety of music too. If this was too singing competition like for you, I recommend checking out Kakero or Shakunetsu Nite Jungou (Wii-Wii-Woo), but she’s got a lot to choose from. Regardless, cool to see you back around to Hololive.

Suisei is one of the best singers in hololive (only surpassed by Ayunda Risu), she worked hard to get where she is now. Even created her first avatar by herself. Yea she was also VTuber in First take. A lot of ppl were skeptical at first glance. That is why she went from 0 to full at start to just erase all doubts.
Shes #1 imo in terms of vocals. Risu is very good but I don't think she has the same certain type of quality suisei has, the closest that comes to it imo is kobo, but kobo is very much a diamond in the rough like suisei was when she first started. Kobo just needs the same profressional push suisei got to further train and develop it
@@huttserlFrom what i have seen and heard Risu in terms of range is at least on pair with Suisei or better. Even Suisei herself was in ave when really listened to her. Not to mention she also so far didnt have any professional training.
I'd say Risu has the better vocal range, but Suisei has better musical sense. A lot of that probably just from being exposed to more professional environments. Taste is very subjective though - my favourite Holo singer is Okayu.

Vtubers are mostly singers/idols afaik, or at least started that way, the big agency ones at least do all kinds of covers and originals
