ITS NOT PERFECT SAGE MODE FFS minato got countered with everything he tried. SM was given to him because the battle with madara would have been narratively stale if nobody could damage him (Naruto and Sasuke were KOed) Minato cant use frog fu, frog sage combos, mix kyuubi and sage energy etc. theres no indication whatsoever that Minato is "a perfect sage". Hell, theres an argument to made transforming into a frog cant happen to non organics like ET
I think this tier list is pretty solid, the beginning was really good but slowly differed from my opinions, but that’s more so because narrative and shown feats slowly differs overall. For a tierlist that values narrative a lot, pretty good. Though I think Minato should definitely be above Bee since Bee only countered a non-bloodlusted Jonin Minato, not Hokage.
@@weeaboo-warrior amazing video man but I don't think DMS kakashi is above Sasuke. Unlike six path sage mode that gives absolute mastery and understanding of the world Sasuke took way longer to adapt to his abilities. In the kaguya fight I put kakashi above but after that against Naruto I put Sasuke above kakashi even before Indara mode. Great video though been on your channel for the past 3 hrs 😂
Great video! I'm so glad you're back. I like your approach to scaling. People often neglect narrative consistency, for the sake of advancing their ideas. I have a few disagreements but overall it's a pretty solid list. I appreciate that you didn't take any feat or statement literally if those didn't make sense and you searched different interpretations in those cases. Unlike some people who put war arc Sakura at god level because she "reacted" and damaged Kaguya, or other bs like that. Good job
@@SSJUnderDog When did she react to Kaguya? She was running from her life from her chakra hands and needed to be saved from Sasuke, but I wouldn't call that a feat for her.
@@weeaboo-warrior she reacted and partially avoided an attack So6p naruto warned EmS + Rinnegan Sasuke (two god tiers) about it being “too fast”. Notice that Sakura was in base and drained. Sure she would’ve get tagged if it wasn’t for Kakashi. But the fact that she was able to react to it and partially avoid it already makes her speed in high kage level tier… which is funny cause most people’s argument to say “she is weak” is because she is slow. There’s one thing sakura isn’t and that is being slow. Regardless i also don’t think Sakura was a God tier in the war arc… but she was stronger than most people give her credit for.

Great job! This list is damn near perfect! There is only 2 things i personally would change. I would switch the spots of killer bee and Minato, and I would move kakashi to the top of mid kage. Minatos feats as hokage are just way better than killer bees and tobiramas though i see where your argument comes from. Also i think you are underselling kakashi a little bit because in the pain arc he fought arguably the two most powerful paths of pain and managed to defeat the asura path that one shotted jiraiya. The deva path is clearly way above the other paths and kakashi was able to give him a run for his money and on top of that he improved significantly from the pain arc to the war arc so I would put him above base jiraiya at the very least.
@Joshey Josh that's a good point. It would for sure be a close one. I think pain arc Kakashi loses to base Jiraiya, but war arc Kakashi had a pretty big stamina and chakra increase. He was fighting nonstop spamming kamui so I'm not sure jiraiya could outlast him. But jiraiya sage mode is a different story.
Honestly this is a really good tier list. Much better than most peoples. I disagree with a few spots a reasoning's but that's bound to happen. Overall great job
Nice to see someone giving Zetzu credit where it's due. A lot of people dismiss him as a scout and forget what he was capable of in a fight. Not to mention he has access to the abilities of those he attaches to and resisted the infinite tsukyomi which means he should be able to resist all genjutsu.
Well Black zetsu is immune to all Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, can't be killed by Taijutsu (He as cut in half and it didn't bother him) AND he's immortal. The only way you can defeat him is either seeling him or leaving him to rot in another dimension (which is what happened to him in the Manga).
@@tongatapu7325 Well, I don't think he is immune to all Ninjutsu as I don't see how he has an answer to Amaterasu . Still, if he can resist infinite Tsukyomi, than he can resist Itachi's Tsukyomi. Meaning that Itachi could possibly lose to Zetsu if he were to start with Tsukyomi but win if he hits with Amaterasu or Susanno.
@@noobsaibot3747 Black Zetsu is made from the same material as the black rods in Pains body. Amaterasu would burn but not harm him, until he goes undergound, which should leave the fire on the surface.
This is an amazing list and truly represents for me how a rank on skills should go and how the databook scores should be used and interpreted(as not final and just support that needs context)
It makes sense but I would like to correct something about some of the Akatsuki scaling. I think Deidara is somewhat underrated. Sasori is one of my favorites characters in the series, but rereading their arc I don't think Kishimoto really intended to tell us that Deidara was weaker than him. Considering the context, Deidara absolutely wanted to fight alone Naruto, the Kyuubi Jinchuriki, and it's clear he was pretty much trolling and hyping Sasori to let Kakashi go away so that he had Naruto all for himself. It's in his character to do so, and some more proof that support the fact that Deidara isn't weaker than Sasori is that when he sees Sakura and Chiyo are alive he shows to not respect Sasori as he wanted to convey before, insulting his puppet style and defining it full of weaknesses. He also has one of the best portrayal in all the Akatsuki, in fact both Pain and Kisame hype him and say that to lose Deidara is a big loss for the organization and that he was one of the strongest members. This is the same Kisame that made fun of Hidan and Kakuzu when they died, and no one spent a word for them or Sasori when they died. Also, Deidara was capable of fighting on par with CS2 Hebi Sasuke, while the same Naruto that defeated Kakuzu was stated to be on par with base BoS Sasuke. Yeah, Kakuzu was likely individually a bit stronger than Naruto at that point, but summing up all the other stuff I brought up I find really difficult to not accept Deidara as the strongest Akatsuki member after the obvious ones.
He could be higher than where I put him. But at the highest I would put him either at the top of the tier he is in, or near the bottom of mid kage tier.
Great list, i disagree on Sasori low kage, guy Is a beast, defeated the strongest Kazekage ever lived, conquered countries. Stronger than Deidara who is really powerful and should be mid kage.
Thanks, and Sasori may be mid kage tier. His data book stat total is actually more in line with that tier. I personally think he fits better into low kage tier.

Solid list! The only minor disagreement I have is the ranking of Sasori, Deidara, Kakuzu and Konan. I would personally have Konan&Sasori > Deidara > Kakuzu. I also want to give Sasori more credit since he lost to Konan only when he initially joined but never went full power and possibly saw the Akatsuki as a cure to his depression. Kakuzu is more relative to Deidara than Hidan but I believe Deidara would kill him with C4, C3, or even C2.
@@izunadara1894 Kakuzu being called one of the most deadly Akatsuki members by the narrator, and how he fought Kakashi and Ino-Shika-Cho at the same time and was winning, while Sasori lost to Chiyo and Sakura, Deidara lost to early part 2 Sasuke, and Konan got stomped by base Jiraiya. I think you can argue these characters being placed in any order though.
@@izunadara1894 Imo Kakuzu > Sasori > Konan > Deidara w/ Konan & Sasori being interchangeable due to the game. Kakuzu is really underrated, he was a beast physically, great defense, great AoE + an experienced and smart figther.
Nice video 💯 but I have to disagree with the Tobirama placement. In life, he was left near death by Kinkaku and Ginkaku despite having the 2nd Raikage with him. Those two brothers were being fought and reacted to by Choiza and Darui. Later on, he died to 20 nameless shinobi. His feats in the war (while impressive) were done mainly due to his nature as an edo. For example, Tendem Paper Bombs couldnt have been pulled off when Tobirama was alive as he would need to use edo tensei.
We never actually see those fights so it's hard to downscale him based off of them. And Darui and Choza are just really good to be able to fight Kinkaku and Ginkaku like they did. The Raikage thought he would have to step in to fight them so they are definitely kage level. I have a hard time seeing Tobirama being a tier low based off how hyped up his power was when he was flexing his chakra. I could see him being lower in that tier though.
@@weeaboo-warrior Dauri and Kin and Gin are good but could any of them go against one of the Sannin? I don't think so, and neither should Tobirama. It's true we don't see the fights, but the story is telling us they happened. It's similar to how we can upscale certain characters like Hanzo based on his reputation, giving the title of Sannin, Jiriaya sweating bullets upon hearing he was defeated by Pain, etc.

One thing about Kisame saying Jiraya is stronger than him, this would only apply to part 1 where he wasn't shown as nearly as strong as he was in part 2. In fact there it is shown he doesn't consider himself weaker than the sannin anymore. He knew about Sasuke killing Orochimaru and even commented he had to be pretty strong to do it, which confirms he assumed Sasuke beat him in a fight. Latter when Sasuke comes to fight Itachi, Kisame bodly declare he could take team Hebi on his own. Generally my main gripe with the tier list are the sannin (beside Tsunade) and Hiruzen by a bit too high, a lot of war arc character scale to KCM Naruto in some roundabout way, and he's stronger in that state than he was in sage mode which surpassed sage mode Jiraya. Not saying every character who can clash with him is necessarly stronger than Hiruzen, but there is definitly some powercreep in the last arc. Otherwise this is a fantastically well put together video.
Perfect list tbh, but maybe 3 eyed madara > hagoromo since he might have reached kaguya's power but who knows since we couldn't see him fight but I believe with his rinnesharingan he became on another level now this was written : “Holy tree, ten-tails being absorbed, ALL chakra returns to Madara’s own hands!” It was even written in such a dramatic fashion to emphasize the power he had in his command and ready to demonstrate that power using RinneiSharingan as an outlet for that chakra. But kishimoto wanted to save that part for kaguya to continue the otsutsuki story. While Madara was also used like obito, at least he had what it takes and was never doubted by black zetsu. Or by hagoromo who knew how capable Madara is for that matter. for those saying all madara can do is tsukuyomi and world of trees dont understand that that was only the event necessary to fuel the rinnei sharingan with chakra...so it could use it’s true abilities. There would be no reason to hook them up into the tree and extract their chakras if he couldn't access the very chakra/tree he was now ONE with. That's just dumb. it’s very limited thinking/short sighted. Madara's Rinnesharingan was used as the basis for Kaguya's Rinnesharingan: It's the same eye and should have the same properties, the Rinnesharingan Kaguya possesed after being revived was Madara's Rinnesharingan, as Madara's body served as vessel for Kaguya's return. Madara TURNED into Kaguya. Madara's body turned into Kaguya, so it makes sense that the Rinnesharingan is the same. It's not like Kaguya got an entirely new and superior eye.
Disagree with the EMS Sasuke placement along with the Juubito placement. Post-Juubito Fight EMS is relative to MKCM2 Naruto who is stronger than eKCM2 Naruto who was ~ to Edo Madara who’s > Edo Itachi. In all honesty, Juubito has too much firepower for Madara too deal with, Juubidamas neg anything Madara has as Obito can touch and see his Limbo. Disagree with other stuff but its mostly a good list. Sasuke is so powerful and he's also a favourite of mine however whenever I hear his English dub I think of the other characters that his voice actors also voices like Ben 10 for example but that's just a personal matter......

Yeah most likely, lol. I re-read the entire manga taking notes, the script was 26 pages and 21,000 words, the original audio recording was over 5 hours long and I had to trim that down, then I had to gather all of these clips and scans and edit them in. Even I'm surprised at how crazy I am to do this, lmao.
I agree with most of this list and a great video overall but i'd put alive hokage minato above pain and itachi since he has multiple feats that put him above them. Defeating teen obito who was stated to be stronger than pain as naruto's sage mode wouldn't be enough. After defeating teen obito he defeated the 9 tails (he didn't kill 9 tails cause he needed to seal him inside either his wife or his son) And when he was a jonin he cut the 8 tails tentacle meaning by the time he was hokage he'd be even stronger. All of this without considering he's a perfect sage and didn't need it to beat the 9 tails or obito. Over all, great video

I mostly agree, only few exceptions, but the one thing that really got to me was placing Hiruzen so low in mid tier kage level, when was KNOWN to be the strongest kage of his time and in his prime might have surpassed Tobirama. He could also release every nature type. I don't see how the previous kage are ranked higher than him, I'd probably say most would have even struggled to put a decent fight against him in his prime. Only reason he died while fighting Orochimaru was not even because he had become old, but because he couldn't really go all out with all the people around knocked out, the sealed space he was in, the surprises that Orochimaru also released, it was a completely disadvantageous situation to him and even when you include the fact that he was old which both hampered his physical capabilities and chakra reserves, he still technically BEAT Orochimaru(despite failing to kill him) literally show how insanely strong he must have been at younger age. I'd say he should have been placed alongside Tobirama for all fairness.
Oh, also the BS with Fuushin and Chino... most you know of the high jonin and low kage level, would be able to block an attack or two from Sasuke given the right set of ninjutsu they have, so Fuushin would probably fit in to that category, lmao he failed to inflict anything of significance to Sasuke, while Chino would be in ~Mid to lower High tier kage solely due to her ocular prowess. But if people can figure a way around that without having to go through a direct confrontation(which was the way Sasuke chose, since he was confident his visual prowess was above hers) she would have still been beaten.
Hiruzen while younger could possibly be higher. The absolute highest I would put him is right above Tobirama. Fuushin and Chino scaling to post war arc Sasuke just upscales them really high. I also don't like them being that high, but it just kind of has to be that way. You could even argue they scale even higher than I put them since Sasuke should be able to blitz and one shot pretty much all kages by that point.
You should do a ranking of the Akatsuki video. My ranking would be 1. Pain 2. Itachi 3. Obito ( he saw Itachi as a threat) 4. Zetzu (Thought is was inconceivable Pain could lose.( 5. Kisame 6. Deidara 7. Konan 8. Sasori 9. Kakuzu 10. Hidan
Why is the six tails lower than sage mode Naruto?. Naruto couldn't defeat Pain with sage mode until he was super fatigued and had his charkra restored by Minato
@@weeaboo-warrior Pain had to resort to chibaku tensei because he was getting bodied while base Pain was able to deal with Sage Naruto pretty easily, there is no indication of any major growth in power he also had Bee's help while fighting Kurama. The V2 Six tails is also a considerable amount of power of the full 9 tails he should be able to deal the same damage that Naruto did
@@indorilnerevar5265 Pain was having major trouble with sage mode Naruto. The only reason he was really able to deal with him was because Naruto had a time limit and he could absorb his sage mode out of him. Naruto even said "you can't hurt me, I'm in sage mode", and Pain agreed and then absorbed it out of him. I do think six tailed Naruto could be argued above sage mode, especially if it's just sage mode Naruto by himself, but sage mode Naruto with all of his summons with a bunch of clones ready to keep his sage mode going has a really good chance of beating 6 tailed Naruto.
@@weeaboo-warrior I would say he was having trouble because of the overwhelming support he received in the battle the chakra rods were able to harm Sage Naruto, six tails Naruto should be above Jiraya no doubt since nothing he can do will harm the V2 six tails since he is able to overpower the shinra tensei which is higher than any thing Jiraya has in his arsenal the only exception is if he could pull out his frog song which would be highly unlikely since it needs a long time to charge and Kurama is one the smartest combatants in Naruto
For 1:05:00 that’s not what bee actually says in the raw he’s talking about the sharingan I’d disagree with tobirama being above Minato the reasons you give ignore a couple things “Place paper bombs on juubito” we literally see he’s able to produce paper bombs with his body and we’ve seen from part 1 you don’t have to physically touch someone to place them “Take care of tsb” your comparing instant teleportation to physical movement it would be more concerning if Minato could grap the tsb before tobirama appeared , A lot of ppl do this “ created the edo tensei jutsu “ then ignore that he’s the worst user of the jutsu and how much prep is required “ intimated everyone in the room “ the only one that was genuinely intimidated was suigetsu the rest were shocked “ hashirama and tobiramas flex incredible “ they are talking about hashiramas flex not tobirama the panel you bring up is even shows it’s about hashirama alone , to go even further you can see hashirama is epicenter of all the damage

@@barni4233 Chiyo in her prime is arguably higher but old Chiyo has to be a tier below Sasori who is at best mid kage tier, so Chiyo would at best be low kage tier. I mentioned how EMS Sasuke would arguably be a tier up near the end of the war if he could use perfect susanoo by himself, but before that Itachi proved he was above him in the Kaguya fight. Bee and Itachi scale to Tobirama and Minato in speed but have better powers so I think they go higher. Sakura is physically strong, but her lack of versatility keeps her low. She gets stomped by anyone in the tier above her, except maybe Fushin at the bottom.
I havent watched the video but looking at your list it looks pretty good mostly. I have a couple comments forgive me if you cover it in the video 1. I think Pain should be top of high kage as he feels like a God amongst shinobi. User of the Rinnegan and an absolute beast. But Obito being stronger due to kamui hax makes sense. 2. 3rd Raikage is busted. I really dont think anyone in high kage can kill him except pain soul snatch or something lol 3. Itachi I would have put in high kage as his stamina is low and he goes blind really fast. Probably below Pain/Obito. But I will admit those weapons of his are hax. If he has Koto or is edo then I agree with your placement 4. Why Kisame so low? Since hes similar to a tailed beast, fought killer B and also needed 7th gate guy to be beaten without Samehada. I think Jiraiya was just a bad matchup and they got caught slipping. 5. How do you feel about Prime Hiruzen? The man allegedly was the most powerful Hokage. Even in his old age he fought oro, edo hashi, and edo tobirama without an intent to kill at first.
1. I felt that way too, but based off statement scaling and speed scaling he kind of had to go lower imo. Though all 6 paths close to his main body while fresh definitely have a good chance of being at the top of high kage. 2. I explain how the characters above him can win. 3. I placed a hypothetical prime Itachi, which included edo feats. 4. He only managed to do so well against Bee due to his chakra absorption ability which countered him. 7th gaits Guy one shot him, so I don't think he should be in the same tier. 5. I think the strongest kage thing was just wrong. The final databook said his talent was above the 2nd, so you could argue him above Tobirama in the high kage tier in his prime, but I wouldn't put him higher than high kage tier.
@@weeaboo-warrior I'm picturing a head canon prime Hiruzen with monkey sage mode, shadow clones weilding all chakra natures, using expansion/shadowpossesion/mind destruction/beetles/manbeastclone, and tag teaming a sage mode enma. That would be freaking epic lol With Kisame I feel like most of ninja use ninjutsu which samehade counters. Guy using taijutu was his natural enemy. And factoring in Kisame was weakened without his main weapon at the time and needed the 7th gate to be put down. That paired with itachi makes me feel the dude is a powerhouse. He only lost to the goat might guy using the 8 gates. Also I saw your reasoning for the akasuki. I think Sasuke had the advantage against deidara being a master of lightning style and Deidara also had 1 arm. I'd say Deidara and sasori are mid kage and Sasuke had a good matchup. Kakuzu above them bc I don't think Naruto beats him in a fresh 1v1. Kakuzu didn't even die after that hit and he was injured when Naruto came into the picture.
@@mangafan9991 I don’t think there is any indication Hiruzen knew sage mode. Kisame does counter a lot of people, but I think Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Hiruzen can deal with him. Deidara had both of his arms against Sasuke.
I would possibly put Minato and tobirama a tier up. Minato used a ton of chakra to teleport the tailed beast bombs from the 9 tails, then beat obito who was already high lage tier and almost unbeatable
With the new Naruto one shot with Minato countering the 9 tailed beast bomb with his rasengan and being compared to Hashirama, I could definitely see that.
No he was never destroying him. He got the advantage when he attacked a injured Madara before absorbing the god tree, but after that he just fought somewhat even with him. Madara after getting his second rinnegan should definitely be above, and even if he isn’t, Naruto doesn’t have a way to kill him.

I am kind of surprised to see how high you ranked Itachi. I have always seen him as an Obi-Wan type. He is really good at his specialities, but is limited by his lack of midi-chlorians (chakra for Itachi). Who knows, maybe I am wrong about that.
When we saw alive Itachi he would be a tier down. My ranking was more for Edo Itachi and a prime alive Itachi we never got to see. Prime Itachi should be around that level but would only be able to list a few fights before his eyes start failing him again. He could be as low as the bottom of the tier below though. He is at least above KCM Naruto. His genjutsu, Amaterasu, shield, and totska blade are just really busted. If his totska blade lands on the 10 tails he could arguably seal it.

@@courtneylankford7627 Overall, Kaguya. Momoshiki might have better physicals. Like more durable skin and better hand to hand taijutsu, but Kaguya is basically immortal, has more chakra, and better abilities. Momoshiki’s best chance is his chakra absorption and abusing the fact Kaguya isn’t the best fighter.
Choji in his butterfly was definitely stronger than Darui. Darui was having trouble with Kakuzu and Choji just casually had him pinned down. He took control of the whole battlefield.

For me Hagoromo should scale above Kaguya in his prime. It took both Naruto and Sasuke to defeat Kaguya, just like it took both Hagoromo and Hamura to defeat Kaguya. Then Sasuke takes some portion of the tailed beast chakra and becomes a pseudo ten tails jinchuuriki. At this point he's man handling Naruto in a way that Kaguya never could. It takes less than a chapter for Naruto to be on the verge of death. Hagoromo actually absorbs the entire ten tails, therefore he should scale above this version of Sasuke and therefore Kaguya. So in my opinion Hagoromo is the strongest in the verse.
The 4th Raikage is stated by the japanese databook to be almost as fast as the speed of light. Also considering the returning stroke of a lightning is Relativistic. A fake clone of Kisame at the beginning of Shippuden turned a wasteland into a sea, as also stated by the Databook. This thanks to Kisame abnormal chakra... and this was a fake Kisame with only 30% of the chakra of the original... and here comes 6th Gate Might Gai. With the fire of Morning Peacock he vaped that whole sea in seconds! There is also the fact that Darui Lasers works by replicating the light of celestial bodies, like sunlight, and Edo Madara managed to easily react and absorb it.
That databook statement was a simile and not meant to be taken literally. I have heard Japanese speakers confirm this. The databook also says Madara's light fang is light speed and impossible to dodge, and the Raikage clearly isn't as fast as light fang. When someone says the speed of lightning, or dodge lightning, that's the leading stroke, not the return stroke. Zetsu saying lightning hits in 1/1000th of a second backs this up. He also said that would be impossible to dodge.
@@weeaboo-warrior terrible reason tbh. The Raikage statement is mistranslated, and the actual statement simply says he is traveling at speeds SIMILAR to light. It implies the Raikage is slighty below, equal to or slightly greater than the SOL in his V1 state, as the Lariat is done in V1 for both him and Bee. And to prove this is true, there are MANY statements referring to the speed of other character's attacks. Darui has a light speed attack "Laser Circus," which were matched in speed by both temari AND Gaara in the 5 Kage Summit against Sasuke, who dodged and reacted to them fairly easily. The Raikage in V2 was just outright above Sasuke at this point in speed, so its consistent for him to be FTL. Even Anbu Shinobi according to the databook are as fast as light, and Kakashi even as early as part 1 is above Anbu Shinobi. Don't think its consistent? Well Itachi ALSO has water bullets that are stated to ALSO move at the speed of light (he used these against Kakashi in the Leaf Village in part 1, where he put Kakashi in genjutsu) and Kakashi was able to react and make a jutsu to block the move. Mifune also has an attack called Beam of Light, Fuu (7 tails jinchuriki) has Light Particles, and even Kirin CAN be argued to be light speed in the databooks. Madara's Light Fang is never said to cap at light speed, it says verbatim that it moves WITH the speed of light. It is most likely light that is amplified by the 10 tails/Six Paths powers. There are just too many light speed statements to ignore in Naruto to say that characters late war are just relativistic.
@@MrMan2006 No, I have heard actual Japanese speakers explain the statement, and they said it was most likely a simile. Laser circus is never actually called light speed. Lasers are light speed, but laser circus is a combo of water and lightning jutus, and the jutsu may just be light being refracted off water particles, meaning it would actually just be as fast as the water shooting out. The light fang statement says it moves with the speed of light, and saying it was actually moving faster due to it being amped is just head canon. The fact Kirin was stated to be undodgeable due to being the speed of ligthning, automatically makes every kage tier nowhere close to light speed, as Itachi (the person who couldn't dodge) and black Zetsu (the person who said Kirin was undodgeable) are both at least kage tier in speed.

He has the same Jetsu as him (except reaper death seal) and he also has shadow clone and Edo. he could just revive a bunch of people from the dead and they just they could jump him. I think this tier list is pretty solid, the beginning was really good but slowly differed from my opinions, but that’s more so because narrative and shown feats slowly differs overall. For a tierlist that values narrative a lot, pretty good. Though I think Minato should definitely be above Bee since Bee only countered a non-bloodlusted Jonin Minato, not Hokage.

Unlike six path sage mode that gives absolute mastery and understanding of the world Sasuke took way longer to adapt to his abilities. I have a few disagreements but overall it's a pretty solid list. I appreciate that you didn't take any feat or statement literally if those didn't make sense and you searched different interpretations in those cases. Unlike some people who put war arc Sakura at god level because she "reacted" and damaged Kaguya, or other bs like that.

@@weeaboo-warrior she reacted and partially avoided an attack So6p naruto warned EmS + Rinnegan Sasuke (two god tiers) about it being “too fast”. Notice that Sakura was in base and drained. Sure she would’ve get tagged if it wasn’t for Kakashi. But the fact that she was able to react to it and partially avoid it already makes her speed in high kage level tier… which is funny cause most people’s argument to say “she is weak” is because she is slow. There’s one thing sakura isn’t and that is being slow.
Regardless i also don’t think Sakura was a God tier in the war arc… but she was stronger than most people give her credit for.

Great job! This list is damn near perfect! There is only 2 things i personally would change. I would switch the spots of killer bee and Minato, and I would move kakashi to the top of mid kage. Minatos feats as hokage are just way better than killer bees and tobiramas though i see where your argument comes from. Also i think you are underselling kakashi a little bit because in the pain arc he fought arguably the two most powerful paths of pain and managed to defeat the asura path that one shotted jiraiya. The deva path is clearly way above the other paths and kakashi was able to give him a run for his money and on top of that he improved significantly from the pain arc to the war arc so I would put him above base jiraiya at the very least.

@Joshey Josh that's a good point. It would for sure be a close one. I think pain arc Kakashi loses to base Jiraiya, but war arc Kakashi had a pretty big stamina and chakra increase. He was fighting nonstop spamming kamui so I'm not sure jiraiya could outlast him. But jiraiya sage mode is a different story.

Nice to see someone giving Zetzu credit where it's due. A lot of people dismiss him as a scout and forget what he was capable of in a fight.
Not to mention he has access to the abilities of those he attaches to and resisted the infinite tsukyomi which means he should be able to resist all genjutsu.
Well Black zetsu is immune to all Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, can't be killed by Taijutsu (He as cut in half and it didn't bother him) AND he's immortal. The only way you can defeat him is either seeling him or leaving him to rot in another dimension (which is what happened to him in the Manga).

Still, if he can resist infinite Tsukyomi, than he can resist Itachi's Tsukyomi. Meaning that Itachi could possibly lose to Zetsu if he were to start with Tsukyomi but win if he hits with Amaterasu or Susanno.

This is an amazing list and truly represents for me how a rank on skills should go and how the databook scores should be used and interpreted(as not final and just support that needs context)
It makes sense but I would like to correct something about some of the Akatsuki scaling. I think Deidara is somewhat underrated. Sasori is one of my favorites characters in the series, but rereading their arc I don't think Kishimoto really intended to tell us that Deidara was weaker than him. Considering the context, Deidara absolutely wanted to fight alone Naruto, the Kyuubi Jinchuriki, and it's clear he was pretty much trolling and hyping Sasori to let Kakashi go away so that he had Naruto all for himself. It's in his character to do so, and some more proof that support the fact that Deidara isn't weaker than Sasori is that when he sees Sakura and Chiyo are alive he shows to not respect Sasori as he wanted to convey before, insulting his puppet style and defining it full of weaknesses. He also has one of the best portrayal in all the Akatsuki, in fact both Pain and Kisame hype him and say that to lose Deidara is a big loss for the organization and that he was one of the strongest members. This is the same Kisame that made fun of Hidan and Kakuzu when they died, and no one spent a word for them or Sasori when they died. Also, Deidara was capable of fighting on par with CS2 Hebi Sasuke, while the same Naruto that defeated Kakuzu was stated to be on par with base BoS Sasuke. Yeah, Kakuzu was likely individually a bit stronger than Naruto at that point, but summing up all the other stuff I brought up I find really difficult to not accept Deidara as the strongest Akatsuki member after the obvious ones.
He could be higher than where I put him. But at the highest I would put him either at the top of the tier he is in, or near the bottom of mid kage tier.

Great list, i disagree on Sasori low kage, guy Is a beast, defeated the strongest Kazekage ever lived, conquered countries. Stronger than Deidara who is really powerful and should be mid kage.

Solid list! The only minor disagreement I have is the ranking of Sasori, Deidara, Kakuzu and Konan.
I would personally have Konan&Sasori > Deidara > Kakuzu. I also want to give Sasori more credit since he lost to Konan only when he initially joined but never went full power and possibly saw the Akatsuki as a cure to his depression.
Kakuzu is more relative to Deidara than Hidan but I believe Deidara would kill him with C4, C3, or even C2.
There was a point when creating the list that I had them in that order.

I think you can argue these characters being placed in any order though.

Nice video 💯 but I have to disagree with the Tobirama placement. In life, he was left near death by Kinkaku and Ginkaku despite having the 2nd Raikage with him. Those two brothers were being fought and reacted to by Choiza and Darui. Later on, he died to 20 nameless shinobi. His feats in the war (while impressive) were done mainly due to his nature as an edo. For example, Tendem Paper Bombs couldnt have been pulled off when Tobirama was alive as he would need to use edo tensei.
We never actually see those fights so it's hard to downscale him based off of them. And Darui and Choza are just really good to be able to fight Kinkaku and Ginkaku like they did. The Raikage thought he would have to step in to fight them so they are definitely kage level. I have a hard time seeing Tobirama being a tier low based off how hyped up his power was when he was flexing his chakra. I could see him being lower in that tier though.

It's true we don't see the fights, but the story is telling us they happened. It's similar to how we can upscale certain characters like Hanzo based on his reputation, giving the title of Sannin, Jiriaya sweating bullets upon hearing he was defeated by Pain, etc.

One thing about Kisame saying Jiraya is stronger than him, this would only apply to part 1 where he wasn't shown as nearly as strong as he was in part 2. In fact there it is shown he doesn't consider himself weaker than the sannin anymore.
He knew about Sasuke killing Orochimaru and even commented he had to be pretty strong to do it, which confirms he assumed Sasuke beat him in a fight. Latter when Sasuke comes to fight Itachi, Kisame bodly declare he could take team Hebi on his own.
Generally my main gripe with the tier list are the sannin (beside Tsunade) and Hiruzen by a bit too high, a lot of war arc character scale to KCM Naruto in some roundabout way, and he's stronger in that state than he was in sage mode which surpassed sage mode Jiraya. Not saying every character who can clash with him is necessarly stronger than Hiruzen, but there is definitly some powercreep in the last arc. Otherwise this is a fantastically well put together video.

Perfect list tbh, but maybe 3 eyed madara > hagoromo since he might have reached kaguya's power but who knows since we couldn't see him fight but I believe with his rinnesharingan he became on another level now this was written : “Holy tree, ten-tails being absorbed, ALL chakra returns to Madara’s own hands!” It was even written in such a dramatic fashion to emphasize the power he had in his command and ready to demonstrate that power using RinneiSharingan as an outlet for that chakra. But kishimoto wanted to save that part for kaguya to continue the otsutsuki story. While Madara was also used like obito, at least he had what it takes and was never doubted by black zetsu. Or by hagoromo who knew how capable Madara is for that matter.
for those saying all madara can do is tsukuyomi and world of trees dont understand that that was only the event necessary to fuel the rinnei sharingan with chakra...so it could use it’s true abilities. There would be no reason to hook them up into the tree and extract their chakras if he couldn't access the very chakra/tree he was now ONE with. That's just dumb. it’s very limited thinking/short sighted.
Madara's Rinnesharingan was used as the basis for Kaguya's Rinnesharingan:
It's the same eye and should have the same properties, the Rinnesharingan Kaguya possesed after being revived was Madara's Rinnesharingan, as Madara's body served as vessel for Kaguya's return. Madara TURNED into Kaguya.
Madara's body turned into Kaguya, so it makes sense that the Rinnesharingan is the same. It's not like Kaguya got an entirely new and superior eye.

Disagree with the EMS Sasuke placement along with the Juubito placement.
Post-Juubito Fight EMS is relative to MKCM2 Naruto who is stronger than eKCM2 Naruto who was ~ to Edo Madara who’s > Edo Itachi.
In all honesty, Juubito has too much firepower for Madara too deal with, Juubidamas neg anything Madara has as Obito can touch and see his Limbo.

Yeah most likely, lol. I re-read the entire manga taking notes, the script was 26 pages and 21,000 words, the original audio recording was over 5 hours long and I had to trim that down, then I had to gather all of these clips and scans and edit them in. Even I'm surprised at how crazy I am to do this, lmao.
I agree with most of this list and a great video overall but i'd put alive hokage minato above pain and itachi since he has multiple feats that put him above them.
Defeating teen obito who was stated to be stronger than pain as naruto's sage mode wouldn't be enough.
After defeating teen obito he defeated the 9 tails (he didn't kill 9 tails cause he needed to seal him inside either his wife or his son)
And when he was a jonin he cut the 8 tails tentacle meaning by the time he was hokage he'd be even stronger.
All of this without considering he's a perfect sage and didn't need it to beat the 9 tails or obito.

wow this is a perfect list
I mostly agree, only few exceptions, but the one thing that really got to me was placing Hiruzen so low in mid tier kage level, when was KNOWN to be the strongest kage of his time and in his prime might have surpassed Tobirama. He could also release every nature type. I don't see how the previous kage are ranked higher than him, I'd probably say most would have even struggled to put a decent fight against him in his prime. Only reason he died while fighting Orochimaru was not even because he had become old, but because he couldn't really go all out with all the people around knocked out, the sealed space he was in, the surprises that Orochimaru also released, it was a completely disadvantageous situation to him and even when you include the fact that he was old which both hampered his physical capabilities and chakra reserves, he still technically BEAT Orochimaru(despite failing to kill him) literally show how insanely strong he must have been at younger age. I'd say he should have been placed alongside Tobirama for all fairness.
Oh, also the BS with Fuushin and Chino... most you know of the high jonin and low kage level, would be able to block an attack or two from Sasuke given the right set of ninjutsu they have, so Fuushin would probably fit in to that category, lmao he failed to inflict anything of significance to Sasuke, while Chino would be in ~Mid to lower High tier kage solely due to her ocular prowess. But if people can figure a way around that without having to go through a direct confrontation(which was the way Sasuke chose, since he was confident his visual prowess was above hers) she would have still been beaten.
Hiruzen while younger could possibly be higher. The absolute highest I would put him is right above Tobirama. Fuushin and Chino scaling to post war arc Sasuke just upscales them really high. I also don't like them being that high, but it just kind of has to be that way. You could even argue they scale even higher than I put them since Sasuke should be able to blitz and one shot pretty much all kages by that point.
Sugestions for next tier list: Chainsaw man or Jujutsu Kaisen

Why is the six tails lower than sage mode Naruto?. Naruto couldn't defeat Pain with sage mode until he was super fatigued and had his charkra restored by Minato
The six tails couldn’t beat Pain either, and later on sage mode Naruto was able to hurt the full 9 tails while in sage mode.
@@weeaboo-warrior Pain had to resort to chibaku tensei because he was getting bodied while base Pain was able to deal with Sage Naruto pretty easily, there is no indication of any major growth in power he also had Bee's help while fighting Kurama. The V2 Six tails is also a considerable amount of power of the full 9 tails he should be able to deal the same damage that Naruto did

The only reason he was really able to deal with him was because Naruto had a time limit and he could absorb his sage mode out of him. Naruto even said "you can't hurt me, I'm in sage mode", and Pain agreed and then absorbed it out of him. I do think six tailed Naruto could be argued above sage mode, especially if it's just sage mode Naruto by himself, but sage mode Naruto with all of his summons with a bunch of clones ready to keep his sage mode going has a really good chance of beating 6 tailed Naruto.
@@weeaboo-warrior I would say he was having trouble because of the overwhelming support he received in the battle the chakra rods were able to harm Sage Naruto, six tails Naruto should be above Jiraya no doubt since nothing he can do will harm the V2 six tails since he is able to overpower the shinra tensei which is higher than any thing Jiraya has in his arsenal the only exception is if he could pull out his frog song which would be highly unlikely since it needs a long time to charge and Kurama is one the smartest combatants in Naruto

I’d disagree with tobirama being above Minato the reasons you give ignore a couple things
“Place paper bombs on juubito” we literally see he’s able to produce paper bombs with his body and we’ve seen from part 1 you don’t have to physically touch someone to place them
“Take care of tsb” your comparing instant teleportation to physical movement it would be more concerning if Minato could grap the tsb before tobirama appeared ,
A lot of ppl do this “ created the edo tensei jutsu “ then ignore that he’s the worst user of the jutsu and how much prep is required
“ intimated everyone in the room “ the only one that was genuinely intimidated was suigetsu the rest were shocked
“ hashirama and tobiramas flex incredible “ they are talking about hashiramas flex not tobirama the panel you bring up is even shows it’s about hashirama alone , to go even further you can see hashirama is epicenter of all the damage

@@weeaboo-warrior i would have put chiyo at mid kage since how i know was fighting hanzo while she was not winning she wasnt loseing either and when she seen kakashi and tought he was sakomo even the she was old she tought she could tahe him down and my other major proble is bee, itachi and nagato being above tobirama minato and ems sasuke when he was in the "end" of war arc and sakura should be a tier above since she made kaguya bleed and break her horn if i remember right and she caught kaguya off guard while she had byakugan activated
@@barni4233 Chiyo in her prime is arguably higher but old Chiyo has to be a tier below Sasori who is at best mid kage tier, so Chiyo would at best be low kage tier. I mentioned how EMS Sasuke would arguably be a tier up near the end of the war if he could use perfect susanoo by himself, but before that Itachi proved he was above him in the Kaguya fight. Bee and Itachi scale to Tobirama and Minato in speed but have better powers so I think they go higher. Sakura is physically strong, but her lack of versatility keeps her low. She gets stomped by anyone in the tier above her, except maybe Fushin at the bottom.

I havent watched the video but looking at your list it looks pretty good mostly. I have a couple comments forgive me if you cover it in the video
1. I think Pain should be top of high kage as he feels like a God amongst shinobi. User of the Rinnegan and an absolute beast. But Obito being stronger due to kamui hax makes sense.
2. 3rd Raikage is busted. I really dont think anyone in high kage can kill him except pain soul snatch or something lol
3. Itachi I would have put in high kage as his stamina is low and he goes blind really fast. Probably below Pain/Obito. But I will admit those weapons of his are hax. If he has Koto or is edo then I agree with your placement
4. Why Kisame so low? Since hes similar to a tailed beast, fought killer B and also needed 7th gate guy to be beaten without Samehada. I think Jiraiya was just a bad matchup and they got caught slipping.
5. How do you feel about Prime Hiruzen? The man allegedly was the most powerful Hokage. Even in his old age he fought oro, edo hashi, and edo tobirama without an intent to kill at first.
1. I felt that way too, but based off statement scaling and speed scaling he kind of had to go lower imo. Though all 6 paths close to his main body while fresh definitely have a good chance of being at the top of high kage.
2. I explain how the characters above him can win.
3. I placed a hypothetical prime Itachi, which included edo feats.
4. He only managed to do so well against Bee due to his chakra absorption ability which countered him. 7th gaits Guy one shot him, so I don't think he should be in the same tier.
5. I think the strongest kage thing was just wrong. The final databook said his talent was above the 2nd, so you could argue him above Tobirama in the high kage tier in his prime, but I wouldn't put him higher than high kage tier.
@@weeaboo-warrior I'm picturing a head canon prime Hiruzen with monkey sage mode, shadow clones weilding all chakra natures, using expansion/shadowpossesion/mind destruction/beetles/manbeastclone, and tag teaming a sage mode enma. That would be freaking epic lol
With Kisame I feel like most of ninja use ninjutsu which samehade counters. Guy using taijutu was his natural enemy. And factoring in Kisame was weakened without his main weapon at the time and needed the 7th gate to be put down. That paired with itachi makes me feel the dude is a powerhouse. He only lost to the goat might guy using the 8 gates.
Also I saw your reasoning for the akasuki. I think Sasuke had the advantage against deidara being a master of lightning style and Deidara also had 1 arm. I'd say Deidara and sasori are mid kage and Sasuke had a good matchup. Kakuzu above them bc I don't think Naruto beats him in a fresh 1v1. Kakuzu didn't even die after that hit and he was injured when Naruto came into the picture.

Kisame does counter a lot of people, but I think Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Hiruzen can deal with him.
Deidara had both of his arms against Sasuke.
I would possibly put Minato and tobirama a tier up. Minato used a ton of chakra to teleport the tailed beast bombs from the 9 tails, then beat obito who was already high lage tier and almost unbeatable
With the new Naruto one shot with Minato countering the 9 tailed beast bomb with his rasengan and being compared to Hashirama, I could definitely see that.

No he was never destroying him. He got the advantage when he attacked a injured Madara before absorbing the god tree, but after that he just fought somewhat even with him. Madara after getting his second rinnegan should definitely be above, and even if he isn’t, Naruto doesn’t have a way to kill him.

I am kind of surprised to see how high you ranked Itachi. I have always seen him as an Obi-Wan type. He is really good at his specialities, but is limited by his lack of midi-chlorians (chakra for Itachi). Who knows, maybe I am wrong about that.
When we saw alive Itachi he would be a tier down. My ranking was more for Edo Itachi and a prime alive Itachi we never got to see. Prime Itachi should be around that level but would only be able to list a few fights before his eyes start failing him again. He could be as low as the bottom of the tier below though. He is at least above KCM Naruto. His genjutsu, Amaterasu, shield, and totska blade are just really busted. If his totska blade lands on the 10 tails he could arguably seal it.

Like more durable skin and better hand to hand taijutsu, but Kaguya is basically immortal, has more chakra, and better abilities. Momoshiki’s best chance is his chakra absorption and abusing the fact Kaguya isn’t the best fighter.

Choji in his butterfly was definitely stronger than Darui. Darui was having trouble with Kakuzu and Choji just casually had him pinned down. He took control of the whole battlefield.

For me Hagoromo should scale above Kaguya in his prime. It took both Naruto and Sasuke to defeat Kaguya, just like it took both Hagoromo and Hamura to defeat Kaguya. Then Sasuke takes some portion of the tailed beast chakra and becomes a pseudo ten tails jinchuuriki. At this point he's man handling Naruto in a way that Kaguya never could. It takes less than a chapter for Naruto to be on the verge of death.
Hagoromo actually absorbs the entire ten tails, therefore he should scale above this version of Sasuke and therefore Kaguya. So in my opinion Hagoromo is the strongest in the verse.
The 4th Raikage is stated by the japanese databook to be almost as fast as the speed of light. Also considering the returning stroke of a lightning is Relativistic.
A fake clone of Kisame at the beginning of Shippuden turned a wasteland into a sea, as also stated by the Databook. This thanks to Kisame abnormal chakra... and this was a fake Kisame with only 30% of the chakra of the original... and here comes 6th Gate Might Gai. With the fire of Morning Peacock he vaped that whole sea in seconds!
There is also the fact that Darui Lasers works by replicating the light of celestial bodies, like sunlight, and Edo Madara managed to easily react and absorb it.
That databook statement was a simile and not meant to be taken literally. I have heard Japanese speakers confirm this. The databook also says Madara's light fang is light speed and impossible to dodge, and the Raikage clearly isn't as fast as light fang. When someone says the speed of lightning, or dodge lightning, that's the leading stroke, not the return stroke. Zetsu saying lightning hits in 1/1000th of a second backs this up. He also said that would be impossible to dodge.
@@weeaboo-warrior terrible reason tbh. The Raikage statement is mistranslated, and the actual statement simply says he is traveling at speeds SIMILAR to light. It implies the Raikage is slighty below, equal to or slightly greater than the SOL in his V1 state, as the Lariat is done in V1 for both him and Bee. And to prove this is true, there are MANY statements referring to the speed of other character's attacks. Darui has a light speed attack "Laser Circus," which were matched in speed by both temari AND Gaara in the 5 Kage Summit against Sasuke, who dodged and reacted to them fairly easily. The Raikage in V2 was just outright above Sasuke at this point in speed, so its consistent for him to be FTL. Even Anbu Shinobi according to the databook are as fast as light, and Kakashi even as early as part 1 is above Anbu Shinobi. Don't think its consistent? Well Itachi ALSO has water bullets that are stated to ALSO move at the speed of light (he used these against Kakashi in the Leaf Village in part 1, where he put Kakashi in genjutsu) and Kakashi was able to react and make a jutsu to block the move. Mifune also has an attack called Beam of Light, Fuu (7 tails jinchuriki) has Light Particles, and even Kirin CAN be argued to be light speed in the databooks. Madara's Light Fang is never said to cap at light speed, it says verbatim that it moves WITH the speed of light. It is most likely light that is amplified by the 10 tails/Six Paths powers. There are just too many light speed statements to ignore in Naruto to say that characters late war are just relativistic.

Laser circus is never actually called light speed. Lasers are light speed, but laser circus is a combo of water and lightning jutus, and the jutsu may just be light being refracted off water particles, meaning it would actually just be as fast as the water shooting out. The light fang statement says it moves with the speed of light, and saying it was actually moving faster due to it being amped is just head canon. The fact Kirin was stated to be undodgeable due to being the speed of ligthning, automatically makes every kage tier nowhere close to light speed, as Itachi (the person who couldn't dodge) and black Zetsu (the person who said Kirin was undodgeable) are both at least kage tier in speed.

He has the same Jetsu as him (except reaper death seal) and he also has shadow clone and Edo. he could just revive a bunch of people from the dead and they just they could jump him.
