First of all, this is a phenomenal video! EXTREMELY well done! Impressive to say the least!
Your reasoning is borderline flawless, and as a fellow power-scaler myself, I love that you have incorperated all nessecary elements to gauge an individuals combat abillities: quantifiable feats, in-lore scaling, statements, author/character intent, differences between tanks, 1 shots, no sells etc! You also take speed, power and hax into consideration, without ignoring other elements that could give an L or a W! You don't ignore strengths, neither weaknesses, as well as personallities, intellect and in character moods!
I have watched this video several times, and I only found 2 things I took issue with, which were really minor! Literally everything else you say, I agree with! And that was my conclusion after spending hours trying to find more flaws to this, list and your reasonings! You use accurate AP and DC! You clearly known your shi*# and this isn't your first rodeo! I bet, like me, you had a lot of versus-debates!

Komugi was considered as having a level 4 proficiency in Enhancer Nen (Gon being the only one with 5), so she quite literally was improving at gungi at a level Meruem could never even hope to reach. It's likely this training that led Meruem (who was a natural born Emission user, though he seemingly used Transmutation more often, and allowed him to use Enhancement with more than half potential) to foresee Netero's absurdly effective technique (Netero being also a level 4 Enhancer, which is interesting, because his Bodhisattva was mostly a combination of Manipulation and Emission, his two weakest proficiencies).
always appreciate the amount of time and research that goes into your power rankings. I may not agree with every entry but it always seems to be fair to every character.

My opinion is that a adult Gon strong at the level of meruem, but due to weak endurance in that body would decline over time and Meruem would defeat him.

I would put both Uvo and Kurapika a tier higher.
Kurapika having all nen types at 100% is BROCKEN and combined with his many abilities he becomes a one-man-army.
And Uvo is in my opinion too underrated in the fandom. He is a nen master and his knowledge about nen is honestly top tier, which is literally the reason why he got so mind fucked by Kurapika due to emperor time being unexplainable with the system. And I honestly can't picture myself how Killua, Feitan and Illumi could win against him. That guy took a bazooka shoot with his bare hand nearly unscratched, no way Illumis needles, Killuas bare fist or claws or Feitans sword could damage him. Feitan couldn't use pain packer on him because the first hit would kill him or immobilize him so that Uvo could kill him. They simply lack the destructive power. And in a pure fist fight, they definitely couldn't beat him. He is the strongest (in terms of raw power and fist fights) human after adult Gon and maybe Netero. Heck, you could make arguments that even pre Chrollo fight Hisoka would lose to him, since he also lacks the power. Useful abilities and speed are meaningless if you can't damage the enemy.
(I am not saying Uvo > Illumi and Hisoka, only showing what a monster he truly is)
I'd also put Bisky and Razor above Hisoka and Illumi. They are more experienced, skilled and have refined their abilities a lot more. They also beat them in pure power and aura.
Killua in my opinion also shouldn’t be on such a high level. His speed is his only useful strength in this tier but just momentarily. Many of these people are very durable, far suprass him in terms of pure Aura (at this point of Killuas life) and could easily take or at least survive Killuas attacks long enough until his godspeed is done. After that he's only fodder for those guys.
My Top 15 would look like this (Anime status without any speculations):

Solid video. Pretty sure Knov was using zetsu when he came into contact with Pouf's aura which was why he was so affected. Given that I'm remembering correctly, I'd bump him up closer to where Morel is.

Female Kite has the potential to be top 3 on this. Obviously we have no feats but she is the king’s twin and is part chimera ant. We don’t know how much power Kite consumed while inside the queen but her growing up fast is a good sign for her potential.

On knov, I don’t believe his lack of resistance to their aura means he’s weak. He’s self-proclaimed to be a coward. It has little bearing on strength. He’s known to be the teacher and is implied to be stronger than either Palm or shoot. He’s just scared. His nen ability reflects that too, as his entire ability centers around being able to hide. It’s like, i fear a roller coaster even though people much less physically capable of me enjoy them.
One small thing about Cheetu vs. Morel. Cheetu didn't attack him because that would have invalidated his own condition, since it was a game of tag. I still think Cheetu would lose in a straight-up fight, but he didn't avoid the fight because he was scared, but because, as Morel puts it, he's an idiot and an attention seeker who wanted to play tag.
Well it’s not stated the condition is just them touching, it’s Morel “catching” him right? Once he got his crossbow claws he immediately resorted to trying to kill Morel. We also saw from their last fight Cheetu could hit Morel dozens and times and do no damage, so Cheetu probably learned from that.
@@weeaboo-warrior In chapter 247, Morel thinks: "Just as I thought...since attacking me directly constitutes as him 'touching' me...!! If I come into direct contact with his body, his ability will be disabled." I think that when Cheetu developed his crossbow claws and tried to stab Morel, it was because he was impatient and just wanted Morel to die without considering the consequences. Either that, or touching the claws doesn't qualify as touching Cheetu, but I'm less inclined to believe that, since we know how shortsighted Cheetu is.

I dont see Netero being able to kill Royal Guards, yes statue is far faster so he definitly wont lose, but at worst case they can just run away from him.
They have enough physical speed and aura reserve to escape

For one of the hardest series to power scale, you've done an excellent job! There are a few differences I would change, but overall they're all ranked in the ballpark of where they should be. In my opinion, these are the biggest changes I would make though.
Knov in around mid-top of Squadron Leader tier
Elite Hunter tier re-arranged: Zeno>Silva>Razor>Chrollo>Hisoka>Illumi>Bisky>Kite>Feitan>Killua GS
Pakunoda at top of Mid Hunter
Shadow Beasts all in High Hunter, just above Sub/Bara (these dudes are seriously underrated. They're supposed to be some of the strongest hunters that the leaders of the mafia relied on. This placement implies that any average hunter could go face to face with them. Getting OHKO'd by Uvo is less of a negative feat for them and more of a monstrous positive feat for Uvo, as they were used to showcase just how ridiculously strong he was).

Dope list but idk how I feel about putting shoot and knuckles above phinks also I don’t think zanzan, that lion and cheetah ant isn’t above goku mode shalnark. But almost everything else I agree with.

Kastro was someone I felt should be lower, but the characters below him just didn’t have a feat as good as challenging Hisoka.

@@weeaboo-warrior Well I think hisoka should be higher than the zoldicks because Chrolo wasn’t using all of his abilities but when he fight hisoka he needed to use more abilities and illumi did not want to fight hisoka and I think he’s not stronger than his father or grandfather but relatively similar that’s one of my reasons anyways but still a good list what’s your opinion?
@@planetg4596 Chrollo did use more abilities, but he also won and said he had no chance of losing to Hisoka. He didn’t beat Zeno or Silva and wasn’t sure if he could 1v1 Zeno. But it could be argued either way imo.

I know you were going off of pure feats alon but I think someone like phaeton or razer could beat him. I know I might be over exaggerating but I think The reason is that one phaeton has different forms of pain packer I am pretty sure and also he’s more experienced and razor because I feel like he had so much aura/Nen and it’s kind of overwhelming to think I mean bro was able to make 14 devils and still was able to play and it was really OP at that. I also feel like with his game cards he might have a chance don’t get me wrong though I love killua to death but I do think razor and phaeton could beat him and I think they’re stronger your thoughts?

cool video, i disagree with a lot of your rankings, especially how high biscuit is, how low kurapika / palm are, and of course the fact that peak gon would be on the level of meruem imo along with a bunch of other small disagreements but i like the energy
@@fakeangel9641 Biscuit does rely a bit on hype and the databook stats so she could be lower. Kurapika would be higher against spiders but I think his placement is fair if he is fighting a non spider. Why do you think Palm should be higher? Gon is arguably the same tier as initial Meruem, but post rose Meruem is definitely a tier above him.
@@weeaboo-warrior Kurapika's fighting capability against a spider vs not against a spider is practically the same, as the only ability that relies on the target being a spider is chain jail which is used as more of a finishing move, so not entirely necessary as long as Kurapika has the ability to kill the target. Kurapika somewhat low diffed Uvogin while not even knowing Ko, and being very early in the learning process of nen. I'm confident Kurapika scales above a Godspeed Killua, around GS Killua to below Zeno and Chrollo, taking into account his genius intellect and insane versatility. With Palm I was under the impression Killua thought he couldn't beat her with GS unlocked, although I could be misremembering how it was in the manga, so I would place her at the top of that tier, moving Kurapika and possibly Uvogin up. Pitou thinks that Gon can hurt Meruem while in base form after transforming to Adult Gon, meaning an all out attack from Gon (10x that power) would be almost certainly fatal for Meruem, although the fight would need to be somewhat favored for Gon to be able to land that attack. I don't think that Netero would really be capable of harming Adult Gon much more than he harmed Meruem with 0, so unless he was banking on the bomb for that he would lose. Adult Gon should be on the King tier, but a bit below him, as opposed to the Netero tier but above Netero, imo.
When you do a Tier List for Kung Fu Panda following the new movie later this year, could you also include the characters from all of the TV show episodes? There's apparently some Oogway-level characters in some of the episodes but I'm not sure of the specifics

If Komugi's gungi (whatever the name of the game is) ability is a nen ability that it's easily a god tier ability. She's virtually unbeatable by even Meruem who's essentially an alien super computer when it comes to brain power. Kurapika was told nen couldn't conjure unbreakable chains. Komugi's ability is an unbreakable chain. She managed to set up a god level skill which seems to have no drawbacks or restrictions. It might very well be the most impressive use of nen beside Nanika.
Great list overall. But Kurapika and Uvogin should be one tier above where they are, there's no way Morel and Kite are a tier above them. Feitan should also probably be a tier above where he is, his Pain Packer was deadly.
I gave Feitan a spot specifically for his pain packer. Against Spiders Kurapika would be a tier up, but against anyone else I think his spot is pretty fair. Uvogin is really strong, but imo him vs transformed Zazan is very debatable. She should be more durable and seems to have comparable strength.
I encourage everyone to think about their own Nen-Ability: ITS FUN, to say the least.
But the question is if you can cheat the System (to a reasonable extend) so i ask your thoughts on this: What about a catalyst-ability whose sole purpose it to be Useless and even HIGHLY Restrictive and then multiple more Abilities that all have the teeny tiny Restriction 'Can only be used while the useless Ability is active'. I can think of countles ways how this will not work but a few where it would actually work: You just gotta have 3+ Ability-Slots and the Useles Ability should be Mono-Type but more importantly have Restricttons that 'act on you' as long as its activated or even outright all-the-time. Kurapika, i think, gave me the idea cause i wondered if Emperors Time extreme Cost only helps Emperor Time or them all - and f this is exploitabe! Heres the kicker: Dowsing-Chain is pure Conjuration but its direclty stated to get a (Slight) Boost when Kurapika is in Emperor Time, so all you gotta ask is where this comes from. Cause its a slight improvement, it cant be all of Emperor Time's Life-Burning, so the only logical conclusion is some 'left-over' gets to Kurapikas other Hatsu. Guy's, its not rocket-science, all you gotta remember is he decreased his Efficiency to 80% and then up to 100% and all that's on you is remember ""Hey, wait, isnt that how he started as?"
So what i say is throwing Money into a Cmapfire can be of Benefit for moe Abilities
than actually have the Activation-Requirement 'Burn Money'' IF you pul it off

Many is accurate but I would put a next tier between elite hunter and squadron leader because I dont think that Kite is on the same lvl as hisoka or Illumi. Same goes for feitan. He isnt on the same lvl as cheetu/leol.

Your nen ability worked had to subscribe , great video but i found myself skimming through cause i couldnt find certain characters. Wished tehre was timestamps or smthing.
I could time stamp the tiers, but the characters would be too much. I have over 100 placements on the list.
Were would you rank each version of Gon on Hisokas power scale? Also where would you place the averaged pro hunter
I dont care what anyone says. To me theres no way powered Gon could beat Meruem. If Netero with all his nen power and more importantly, his lifelong experience, couldn't beat Meruem, theres no way Gon could. He could put up a fight but Meruem is just not physically strong but also EXTREMELY intelligent. At least when it comes to fight strategies, and Gon is quite possibly the least strategist fighter in this series.
Some thoughts on Netero, Adult Gon, and Pitou.
Pitou was not only able to percieve Netero's Palm Strike but also barely percieve Netero's hand movement and it also didn't hurt them much. Its entirely possible that Pitou would eventually also get through to Netero even without Gungi mastery. Meruem could rip his own arm off and tried to kill Pitou to only make them bleed slightly. Its very possible that any number of Palm Strikes would have little effect on Pitou. Leaving Zero Palm the only option for Netero, even if Netero hits and kills Pitou, it is very possible that Terpsichora would have enough of body to kill the emaciated Netero. My main point being that Netero vs Pitou is closer than it looks, though I lean to Pitou now.
All that being said, Adult Gon not only conpletely blitzed Pitou, Pitou could not even notice which direction Gon left the room they were in. All while full Terpsichora (while alive at least). Adult Gon is so much faster than Pitou and almost definitely the full Buddha Statue. Adult Gon's only anti feat besides having some nebulous timer, and taking two hits to knock out Pitou (each hit definitely did more than Meruem's strike which used some modicum of effort) is losing his arm from an amped Pitou, something he likely wanted so he could be like Kite during his fight with Pitou and didn't seem surprised at all when it happened. I think Adult Gon just clears Netero. He really on the King tier.
Merume tried to kill Pitou, but that was before he knew how durable Pitou was. It does not mean Merume used his full force on her.
Pitou barely tracked Netero's movements by compressing their awareness, and even then the attack was undodgeable. You say Pitou could not do this with Gon's attack, but I don't think any evidence supports that. Just because it's not shown Pitou tracked it, doesn't mean they didn't. It could just be irrelevant and not stated as there is no point, as Pitou is getting blitzed either way. So unless it's directly stated Pitou could not visually track Gon's movements even by compressing their awareness like they did with Netero, I don't think you can say Gon was faster.
Gon is definitely a tier above Netero in pure power, and near or on the level of pre rose Meruem, but he is definitely closer to Netero than he is to post rose Meruem.

From being able to stall a stroger version of Pouf and not having a time limit.
Keep in mind Yupi said they could barely even reach 1/10th of his aura, Knuckles said Morel had 1/10th of Yupi aura implying Morel had more aura than Godspeed Killua.
Kite is also a bit too low, but thats js my agenda.
Kurapika is bellow Uvogin, he only won due to advantage, he was shown realtive to 50% Uvogin and got outpowered and outsped by 100% Uvo only winning due to hax. Maybe will change when we see more of him in the dark continent.

Only included Hanzo from the hunter exam before he learned nen. I think after learning nen he would go way higher! Probably at least two tiers.

There’s literally nothing that suggests that Machi would be a tier lower than Nobunaga when they are portrayed as equals in many scenarios.
When were they portrayed as equals? There was that one seen Killua said picture both of them as Hisoka, but that is hardly presenting them as equals. It just means they are both astronomically beyond Gon and Killua. There was that one scene they acted like they were going to fight each other, but they faked that to trick Gon and Killua.
The fight between Kurapika and Uvogin is the only problem I have with the show.
Uvo shoulda won and Uvogin is mad underrated in this video and in almost everyones fkn head.
It seems kind of strange you think the problem with the show is Uvo should have won. That makes it sound like you think you know more about how strong the characters are than the author. Uvo is VERY strong, but he is an idiotic overconfident fighter, and HxH fights are heavily on match ups and strategy. Uvo thought he was so strong he didn't have to care about that, but he was wrong.
@@weeaboo-warrior he was overconfident and probably not the smartest but in terms of fighting and fighting experience it just makes no sense that Kurapika can just keep up w him out of nowhere and beat him so easily. If he'd beaten someone like Shinobu yeah that'd be fine but not the strongest of the Spiders.
Even if K's ability would make sense it's still far from logical that he could just tabk Uvo's literally strongest attack (big bang impact) and not get completely shattered because his ability doesn't give him super resistance but super attack against them spiders.
He literally got a bruise on his arm and that's it.
@@tristan7720 yeah it’s a bit weird, but it’s because Emperor Time is so costly. The more you sacrifice the more powerful the ability.

Also f.ex.:
The fight between Uvo and him was relatively short, just a few hits have been exchanged until Uvo's defeat and let's say the fight was about 15 minutes (which is probably even longer than how long the fight lasted).
That means he really just lost around a month of his lifetime which to me sounds really just too cheap for what immense powers he got. Uvo could literally do nothing.
Let's compare with Gon.
Gon gave up his entire future life full of training with most definitely more potential than Kurapika to get around as strong as the King and would've died if not for Nanika.
Bro even if Kurapika can only use it against every person that's currently in the phantom troupe it still feels like no loss.
With those circumstances he prolly has lost like 5-10 years of his life at the end of the show and can live happily till he's like 70 or something.

I think that Gin is probably the strongest hunter now.
he's a lot stronger than Kite and Razor.
Even Netero said that he was one of the top 5 strongest.
I think that a gin is also stronger than a Netero.
I'm sure that when we are on the dark continent sometime in 20 years maybe :/, Gin will show that there is another Nen abilitys than the typical one we know with the six types and the basics and that Gin can already do it. He can directly copy other Nen abilities just by watching. He can apparently see into the future or sense what will happen and what won't.
HxH is a Shonen anime and as in every Shonen anime you will improve and I think there is a further developed Nen table and thus enables everyone else to develop further and is probably necessary in order to be able to defeat the new dangers on the continent.
Always remember that Merum was just an ant. Although reinforced by human Nen, it is still an army ant. Now imagine what other creatures that are naturally much stronger than ants can do if they use it.

the fact that kid killua in godspeed mode isn't too far from the top of their verse is impressive I would say adult killua would most likely be on mereum's level in speed and reaction time and even have lighting EN which opposed to mereum who could see feel emotions from absorbing the royal guards I would say adult killua could know everyone's physical movement this would be in an improved godspeed mode and not base form of course

Killua vs Youpi is the same as Netero vs Meruem, just because they are really fast it doesn't mean that they can actually win. Netero lost because Meruem played thousands of gungi moves in his mind and killua would have lost because:
1. He would have run out of nen
2. Youpi would have used the bomb again or any other move like that
bodora may be weak but i do think that he can be a powerful nen user due to hes martial art skills
only disagreement here is pouf not engaging against morel because of his aura or what. he knows he's strong-willed and confident, but if pouf really was as strong as a royal guard, he should be able to stomp morel. just the only bad writing i see im chimera ant

I think that Binolt is far too way down, at least that's how my interpretation is.
What makes you say that? He was only equal to a rank D greed island monster and Gon and Killua severely outclassed him be the end of the greed island arc.

The royal guards have more raw power than Netero. They have better feats than Chrollo in like every category. Chrollo might be able to win depending on what abilities he stored up, but it's hard to predict how the fight would go.
Chrollo shows nothing that could be used to hurt any of Royal Guard, they overcome him in every phisical aspect.

I just dont agree with Adult Gon vs Meruem. Pitou straight up says he could fuck up Meruem. Post nuke Meruem is debatable though
She said Gon was a threat to the King, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he would win. Post rose Meruem should stomp Gon.

I don’t really see why Chrollo is ranked so high, Zeno displayed way stronger abilities in the Chimera Ant Arc and He probably didn’t even need Silva’s help to defeat him. Also, Putting Biscuit and Razor so low seems like a fatal mistake seeing as how one of them is highly rated by Netero himself and the other is highly rated by Ging, who is one of the strongest hunters of all time. I feel like this entire list is based off strength perceived by the eye and should be ranked far differently in my opinion.😊
Yes, I ranked it by the eye, as in objective measurements. Chrollo fought Silva and Zeno at the same time and Zeno implied Chrollo if serious might beat him, so he goes above them. Razor and Bisky have hype, but lack of feats, so I can't put them above characters who have actually demonstrated their power. I could see putting Razor above Hisoka, but Bisky is iffy as of now.
@@weeaboo-warrior That makes sense but even from just the eye, it’s easy to see Zeno would rank above Chrollo, He has immense destructive power and Zeno himself said he has a habit of overestimating his opponents. It’s true Chrollo did a 2v1 but when it was just Chrollo and Zeno, Zeno was able to break down Chrollo’s ability with ease and capture him. The dragon Zeno used during their fight was much more hollow and pale than the ones he used in the Chimera Ant arc, so he was mostlikely holding back. We also see that Chrollo doesn’t really have any ready defenses against direct attacks like Zeno’s, and there isn’t any evidence that he was the power to take someone of his caliber down.

Silva used his hair to stitch a wound
I don't think he stitched it. he used it to cut the blood flow form his arm to stop the poison from flowing to the rest of his body. Like a tourniquet.
Well there are some placements open for discussion tho.
First being Neferpitou. Shes officialy the strongest Royal Guard and Netero stated himself that he doesnt know if he could even beat her hence why he pushed her far faaaaar away. So Pitou is at least on the same level as Netero.
Then we have Gon in his Adult form.
Pitou said he is equal with the King however we all know thats a false statement. Meruem already hit Pitou once with the intent of killing her and she just got a Scratch from it. Gon however with every Punch/Kick literally broke every bone in her body and he wasnt going all out he casualy punched her. And his Jajanken also wasnt on full power as seen in the end where he actually did use a full powered one.
Now Meruem has 2 forms. His pre and post Netero fight forms. His first form cant win against Gon period we got plenty of prove despite what Pitou said. Post Netero Meruem tho could be equal or even more powerful sadly we haven seen him fight in that form only "cleaning up". While his abilitys are impressive Gons Physical abilitys are high likely far superior to his.
Now. If we compare those two there is one final indicator that could declare a winner and that the actual Nen. And here we got something......interesting. While everyone could feel the Kings Nen Kilua couldnt feel Gons. Even when standing right before Gon Killua couldnt tell if its him until Gon turned around. So its save to assume that Gons Nen Level was so high regular people couldnt even comprehend it anymore which is a feat we never sa before or even after that in the Manga. If we go further we also saw that a literal "cheat charater" was needed to lift a Nen curse from Gon inflicted by that tremendous Nen and even that cheat character was being felt by everyone around the area.
So a fight between those two would be in Gons favor. Meruem cant block Gons attacks for that he needs equal or more powerful Nen and he doesnt have that. He is high likely smarter then Gon but what you gonna do when you cant inflict damage on your enemy because his Nen armor is so strong ? Remember Pitou only got him once he believed her to be dead and lowered his guard. And thats was post mortem Pitou( so pretty much a Zenkai boost).
So all in all Gon is the pinacle of Human evolution. Boys Nen was so large no one could even feel it. Killua literally had to see what Gon did to ask the question :" What did he do to gain this much Nen ?" You could see the fear in Killuas eyes when he realized what Gon did and what the price was.
Netero never said he wasn’t sure he could beat Pitou, he just said she looked stronger than him. Power wise they are in the same tier, but Netero has a better ability and speed so the fight would be one sided. Meruem was trying to Kill Pitou, but it was not a full powered strike. He had no idea how strong Pitou was and just slapped them with his tail. Gon on the other hand was hitting Pitou with full power charged up jajanken. Those aren’t fair comparisons at all. Adult Gon is definitely more powerful than Netero, but I go over in the video why I think Netero would win the fight.

Also yes the comparisons are fair. First of all he just gave her a normal kick into the air and she coughed up blood so his normal kick did already more damage then a blow from Meruem with the intent to kill her. Also as i said before Gons Jajanken isnt full power. The last one was.
And yeah Netero would win against Gon however only because he can play the time game. Gons powers aint forever and Netero cant hurt Gon but Gon also cant touch Netero because he isnt as smart as Meruem and remember all combinations and work accordingly. So yeah Netero is a better Hunter in that case. Well at least he has the better Nen ability because without it Gon would Murder him. Unless Netero is faster but we literally saw both of them move long distances in split seconds. Gon even flat out teleported outta the crypt.

Intent to kill does not equal full power strike. But yeah, I agree Netero only wins against Gon due to his ability. Power wise Gon is a tier above Netero.

He did say that before he got his edge back yes. When they were watching the Queens Castle with Pitous En up he said he doesnt know if he could beat her. And as we saw later he indeed rather sends her flying then fighting her.
And we can estimate the strengh of Meruems Tail whip a little. When Netero hit Pitou full force she wasnt even scratched while his Tail Whip did leave a mark. So that simple looking hit did indeed more damage then Neteros Nen ability. And Gons regular kick high likely broke all her ribs.
Thats the amazing thing in HxH really. Unlike other animes the answers aint presented to you right away you need to watch the details even the small ones. Like most people still dont understand why Meruem wasnt faced by Neteros full power but dies against a simple bomb like any regular human would. Nen users aint gods like people in other animes would be.

Yeah I don’t know if he actually is. It’s entirely dependent on if Hisoka was holding back, but Hisoka implies Kastro was an actual threat. Also keep in mind Feitan with pain packer is a tier up. Kastro can only be compared to base Feitan.
