This weapon is great for not only new gun owners but seasoned shooters as well.
With multiple safeties, a high round count and great for CCW, this is definitely my go-to EDC.

I bought my XD SUB COMPACT .40 back in May 2004. It is one of the best hand gun, very accurate and easy to conceal. Over 30,000 rounds and not one single malfunction so far using good defense ammo. I love it!!!
Yes my brother, I have about 15,000 through mine and never a malfunction. One of the best guns I’ve ever owned.

My XD broke twice. I still love it. First the guide rod end snapped off and shot out the rod a few feet in front at the range. Then after replacing via warranty service the slide jammed. After inspection a piece inside was obviously chipped making it not functional. Its coming home from Springfield Monday with a replaced part
I love my XD 40! That and my Ruger p90 are my carry guns. It's amazing how much people hates Springfield but each to their own.
You’re right, I don’t understand why they don’t like them but my XD will always be my first love.
I love this handgun I actually won mine in a raffle when I bought my first gun which was a glock 17.

You forgot the very useful muzzle-protector which allows homeowners to press the gun into an intruder's back without taking the gun out of battery.. Plus the simple takedown. Mine I have Meprolight night sights, very nice Tritium sights. Thanks for the review.

Did u ever find your Safarieland holster? I snagged a Galco kydex holster that's not bad for my needs. Check them out unless your looking for leather, that was actually my first choice being in Ohio but the Galco works well with my gun belt.
For sure. I use a Galco Fletch for my leather and Vetter and black Rhino concealment for my kydex
hope you are as happy with your glock than the XD cause I sure wasn’t. maybe cause i’m a 1911 guy & Xd’s point just like 1911’s Xd’s are perfectly natural pointers unlike Glocks that have their own unique slanted style which isn’t bad just not natural & takes time to get used to if moving down to a glock from an XD.

I love the Glock but the XD will always be my first love my brother. You’re absolutely right it does take getting some use to, especially running this gun for 8 years then picking up a Glock...lol

Yes, purchase a 9mm XD magazine and 9mm XD barrel then much like the Glock 23, you can use the pistol in two different calibers.
Shooter the series' RUclips channel,shows him using this same pistol then switching out the barrel and mag to 9mm. Shoots fine. No issues shown

What hollow points do you recommend for this weapon ?
I was in law enforcement so my favorite is Federal Premium. It ran exceptionally well and was pretty clean. 2nd favorite, has to be Hornady Critical Duty FlexLock, expensive for amazing.
its ambi you can change it to 9mm if you want and i think there is 22 cal conversions for it too great gun
I think so too. I heard that one time before and never looked into it. Absolutely great gun. I’m a Glock man but I love this gun.

I could never understand why content creator's tell people before the video gets started to like share and sub. Isn't that best to do once your done watching the video to see if it's worth the sub and like just saying.. When i hear people say that it makes me think it's gonna be shoty content.
We do it differently throughout, sometimes it’s in the beginning, sometimes at the end, sometimes both, and even as far as text on the screen during the video. I do it so I can focus on the content.
Even if you did it that way, your opinion is still going to be different from someone else’s where you may not find it shareable and someone else does. And what’s wrong with hitting a like button before watching the full video or sharing it? It doesn’t cost anyone a thing and it helps out that content creator who’s trying to build something online.
More times than not I tell folks in my intro, which obviously isn’t scripted, to share the info if they find it helpful. I’ve seen some of the best, biggest channels do it because it obviously works. Either way makes sense to me.
