It doesn't have a time limit its just he doesn't want to burn the Soul Society or his allies to ash if he wasn't suppressing it could be way stronger it's like the same thing with White Beard from One Piece he has great power but he has to mostly suppress it because he doesn't want to harm his allies.
You should showcase every Bankai and explain how it works I love hearing you go into depth on how abilities work and how they were used. Keep up the great content
The Most Unexpected Bankai in the Series was Zaraki's. The first person to unlock Bankai on screen. So much Untapped Potential he has. Always loved Kenpachi Zaraki from the Start.
The thing about zaraki's bankai is it's probably just 10-20% of his bankai's power at most. The fact that he used it first time and has almost no control over it, it's so incredible and scary once he will be able to refine it.
Honorable mention: Aizen's Kyōka Suigetsu which is so hax as a shikai that it can defeat most bankai and broken powers like the Almighty. I hope to see his bankai in Hell Arc. Also, mention Nimaiya whose unreleased sword can defeat the Schutzstaffel. I would love to see this bankai as well.
Spoiler alert, What if Aizen's Bankai is similar in mechanics to Shinji's. In one of the novels we get to know that Shinji's Bankai is Hella busted for fodder but almost useless for strong foes.
@@aethan-dor102 Hmm, I think that's a Sakanade thing only because it's main ability is to make things contrary. Since Aizen's shikai is the ability to permanently put someone under complete hypnosis, confusing all of their senses, his Bankai is the ability to permanently make someone else FEEL how Aizen wants them to feel. If his Shikai is Tsukuyomi, his Bankai is Kotoamatsukami.
@@Meidoificationso his shikai being bleach genjutsu, essentially illusion, then his bankai would be mind control? I was thinking that his bankai would be similar to the fullbringer whose technique involved injecting his presence into someone’s past and manipulating it except aizen would literally manipulate a person’s whole existence how he sees fit. An illusion perhaps turned to reality in the eyes of his victim?
Not true Yhwach literally stole it to prove a point to Yamamoto because he kept saying he couldn’t steal because he doesn’t know the limits of its powers which was wrong. It was stated that only Yhwach could control and use Yamamoto bankai making non almighty scale directly to bankai Yamamoto. The statements made about Yamamoto being the strongest are only about him being the strongest Shinigami in the gotei 13 which the 0 division aren’t apart of that’s why you get the statement of Yhwach calling ichibei the pinnacle of all Shinigami.
@@kingwill1623 Huh? The manga doesn't state that Yhwach only steals Yamamoto's bankai just to prove Yamamoto's assumption wrong, Yhwach did it to neutralise him so that he could then finish him off with ease. Yhwach even mocks Yamamoto by asking if he's used up all his strength fighting an imposter, implying the plan was to weaken him and then come steal his bankai, a bankai that possessed such an "immense power" that only Yhwach could control. All signs point to Yhwach viewing Zanka No Tachi as a threatening ability.
@@kingwill1623 my guy remember it was yhwach that fought Yamamoto he made in underling disguise himself as him, if yhwach fought him head on with that bankai He would be dead
@King Will Don't forget the fact that Yamamoto defeated and sealed Yhwach without his full bankai 1000 years ago, this caused Yhwach to view bankais as a big threat hence he made the medals. Plus old Yama had one arm and as Yhwach said he had gotten softer and more humane which was ultimately his downfall.
@@kingwill1623 if he really feels that way how come he sealed his bankai away not fight him fair. the quincies are losers who couldn't accomplish anything in their lifes without the bankai sealing device. all of them would've been defeat the same way as they did 1000 yrs ago without that gadget.
I like the fire motif of Yamamoto's Bankai and abilities in general, it foreshadows his ultimate fate after death ending up watching the fires of hell itself. In the end Shunsui's is more straightforward and strategic in scale and a worthy successor to Yamamoto even if Ichibei's is not to be messed with either.
@@AsbelLhant100 Yama's bankai is by far the most broken because it just one shot's everything. But tactically speaking, Ichibei would likely be able to beat him.
Okay, there is a distinct difference between Rukia's and Hitsugaya's bankai. Yes, Hitsugaya's is indeed elemental ice based; However, Rukia's is temperature based, not ice itself. Hers is often mistaken as such due to the severe temperature drop to absolute zero.
@@JD-go2qj It may be semantics to you. However; It's a distinction that needs to be made because it makes the comparison everyone makes between the two invalid and a moot point since they don't belong in the same category.
@@RatKingCerf You freeze water and yes I know what you are TRYING to pull her and no, it won't work. Hitsugaya and Hyourinmaru literally create ice to then manipulate and use it as they see fit. Rukia freezes the AIR temperature around her to where it flash freezes anything in the surrounding area, including herself if she is not extremely careful. There is a difference in the creation and uses of what their powers do. Again, I have stated I understand it may be semantics, but it is still very much a distinction that needs to be made as the zanpakto work on different scientific principles in this case.
Kubo is a master in designs, no doubt. Ichibei's Bankai is super broken and cool, but Yama is my all time favorite. His overall prowess and power is bloody terrifying!
@@the_not_so_great_unknown2170 I know. It's a great shame. I'm comforting myself by acknowledging the fact Kubo had health problems and had to rush the whole thing. Thankfully is in excellent shape now, so hopefully he'll extend and alter a few key moments in the series and expand on him.

Nobody so far has been stupid enough to try overpowering Yammamoto in conventional battle. It's like trying to win the nuclear war. Both Aizen and Yahwah used similar tricks to disable his sword. In fair and clear versus battles you don't have preparation time(Aizen had months, Yahwah had years) and side tools so it counts only for the story. He's at least in top 5 of strongest characters.
@@vergilsparda3738 But his ink would touch nothing since the enormous heat alone would reduce it to ash before it even had the chance. No idea how his Paint it black ability would do though
Another thing to mention about Zaraki's bankai is that the power he exhibited is not even the full extent of the power available to him as implied by Yachiru.
Yeah, it seems that as shown in the Unohana fight the more Zeraki fights and almost dies the stronger he gets. Kenpachi is a Saiyan lol. Since it was through Unohana repeatedly almost killing and healing him that he was able to get strong enough to kill her. So stands to reason he could continue to get stronger afterwards.
To be fair, most of the new bankais introduced especially the ones aquired from training with 0 division was not on full force, most of them cant handle its full power yet idk if theres a new chapter after thousand years blood war but its a shame to not see the new abilities in their full extent.
@@godjihyo9234 we will see in hell arc which is getting continued. also I think anime will expand those things and since it's also adapting novels also
I can't wait to see Kenpachi go into Bankai fully animated for the first time. The reason he has a Bankai is all because of his fight with Ichigo and the conversation that they had during it. He is definitely one of my top 3 favourite characters (No 2 in fact lol)
no, even if he never met ichigo he could've achieved bankai through the same means, which is fighting unohana and entering a life or death situation afterwards, ichigo had literally nothing to do with it, he just made kenpachi rethink his philosophy on zanpakutos.
I've noticed something ichigo was the only one who was able to kill yhwach and if you notice at the end of the arc his sword breaks revealing his shikai it's crazy bc when he was training to get his bankai in ss arc zangetsu young yhwach told him that among all of those swords that were around only one is able to kill him like damn kubo really knows how to use some of those small details that we missed.
This shows that Kubo is an excellent writer who planned everything from the start, unlike some mid series like One Piece or Naruto where they just make up shit as they go.
@@squilliamfreakyson He foreshadowed Ichibeis ability before squad 0 was even talked about, hell even in the anime when zangetsu was trying to say his name and was blurred out it sounded like Yubach .
I noticed a pattern. Yamamoto and Kyoraku have 4 phases in their Bankai. The final phase of their Bankai ends with a finishing slash. Hopefully, if ever Ukitake's Bankai is revealed in the Hell Arc, it works the same way as pattern I mentioned for "Zanka no Tachi" and "Katen Kyokotsu Karamatsu Shinju" Edit: I thought it would be cool since Kyoraku and Ukitake were the first students of Yamamoto in the academy who became captains
Rukia's Bankai is nowhere near Toshiro's Bankai. I'm not talking about Toshiro's power level vs Rukia's power level (in which Toshiro is stronger obviously), Rukia's ability is cold manipulation and absolute zero, which can to some extent be resisted by Blut as shown by As Nodt Vs Toshiro's Bankai which controls the weather, water, ice, and snow/all H2O molecules in the atmosphere, can freeze all forms of matter, can freeze the elements, can freeze pure/raw energy such as reishi in it's energy state and not in spiritual solid liquid or gas state, and can freeze on a conceptual level such as freezing the concept of Hope from the Soul King's heart/powers and abilities in general
As Shown by As Nodt it can’t be resisted. While literally each opponent of Toshiro just broke the ice and continued fighting, because he just creates the ice without freezing inside
@@tosha6013 Am talking about after the as nodt fight, byakuya was literally standing they're and only like getting frozen a bit or something? Yeah no, she's not one shotting everyone, not as overpowered as you think she is.
I personally would put Shirafude Ichimonji at number one. The power to manipulate concept and name manipulation IMO is more overpowered than Zanka no Tachi
@@Theonefrombeyon i kinda agree but you can also make an argument literally anything that comes into contact with Yama's rietsu or even his own body... would just disintegrate
I'm honestly surprised you didn't rank Ichimaru Gin's bankai at all. Not only is it insanely powerful and almost impossible to avoid (you're dead if his sword ever is pointing in your direction) it did the feat noone else was able to, which was kill Aizen. Not only that, but unlike some of the ones on your list it doesn't seem to do any collateral damage like freezing your own body or whatnot.
Well the issue is, it can't actually "kill" characters like Aizen, plus it's no where near as broken as Zero Squad leader or Yamamoto or even Aizen shikai. For example, Yama's bankai quite literally can one shot the strongest character in the series, but there's no way Gin's bankai could do anywhere near enough damage for that, especially because it has no AOE effect.

For me it's always Kenpachi! There's no defense against the unrivaled blade that can cut thru anything even intangibility. With his shikai/bankai he pulled of the single greatest feat of strength in the entire series by destroying a meteor calculated to be bigger than the size of Texas that would've killed every Shinigami and Quincie(with the exception of Yhwach, Lille and Gerard)with a one handed swing.(imo)I don't think there's a single feat in Bleach that tops this!

Just a meteor? Dangai Ichigo literally destroyed Kido spell equivalent to a Black Hole with his barehand and current Ichigo is stronger than his Dangai form. You don't think a single feat in Bleach can top that?
@@zeroskaterz92 First off, the meteor was bigger than the size of Texas(ch.576 pg.17)and that's not an exaggeration because it takes 40 days to walk around the entire Seireitei(ch.76 pg.15)and by Haschwalth's account was even a threat to Yhwach(ch.577 pg.7). You also greatly exaggerated the Kurohitsugi by equating it to a black hole which it's nowhere near and it didn't affect a radius even close to the size of Gremmy's meteor(ch.418 pg.19)! 3:50 I wonder if Shunsui's Bankai is just that or if it is much deeper in its power. Kinda like his Shikai putting children games into reality - what if his Bankai manifests (children) stories. That would make not only a connection to the Shikai, but it would be less depressing than the suicidal performance he has shown. Especially as that would make it even stronger in the concept. And it would make sense, when you consider his lover/partner/almost motherlike connection with the spirit of his sword.
Well, the duality of shunsui's zanpakuto is that the shikai is child's entertainment(children's games) and the bankai is adult entertainment(theatre), also it's heavily implied that the play performed by his bankai is the only one that can be performed, as he speaks with certainty about what his bankai will do if he activates it when he's fighting stark. And in terms of his sword spirit, he has 2 sword spirits, Katen and Kyokotsu, one is a child(his shikai) and the other is a woman(his bankai), his shikai, being a child, enjoys children's games, while his bankai being an adult enjoys mature stories told in theatre
@@sntreulfravn2321 both spirits are his bankai and shikai - the little girl is just split part of his sword to hide Ise's clan sword. Also I was talking about the potential of his sword. So maybe in next 1000 years Shunsui will be also able to extend the powers of his Bankai. Same with the strength of the sword itself - it always depends on the Shinigami that uses it. Which we learn in the novels, where the sword that copies other swords is used. It could copy Hanataro's sword and make it extremely powerful, but Kyouka Suigetsu was not as good, because what makes it overpowered are enormous amounts of reiatsu Aizen possessed, which allows him to use it indefinitely.

And even then, Toshiro was unable to do any true damage to Gerard unlike Byakuya and Kenpachi who were actually able to wound and kill him. Unlike Rukia, his bankai has no true killing power and is only versatile. Unlike Rukia, his bankai's AOE is not instant and can be dodged, blitzed or as Gerard showed, overpowered. Your third error, you note Hakka no Togame's risk due to her inexperience while failing to mention that one, Toshiro was actually able to master his bankai during the TYBW, and two, Rukia had only just managed to unlock her bankai less than a week prior to her battle. The risks come from her inexperience with it, not the bankai itself as mentioned by both her and Byakuya Toshiro only shuts down abilities pertaining considerably lower spiritual pressure than his, just like how bleach fights work, meaning its not something solely because of his bankai, it is based on him.
@@DeeProphet24 You also say that lieutenant class shinigami can dodge her bankai's effect when no, they wouldn't be able to in the first place. not to mention how Zaraki literally ripped the entire arm off from the Sternritter M just using the mouth while biting him. holy shit also, for Zanka no Tachi, the water in the entirety of the soul society (as Unohana stated) was slowly evaporating and the only thing keeping the 15M°C temperature away to vaporize anything around him was the spiritual pressure of yamamoto himself (that's also why he couldn't release it on the Earth)
Appreciate the list and discussion it creates. I feel however that the manga showed (although poorly) that in terms of pure power (and speed), no bankai in the bleach verse would be able to contest Tensa Zangetsu. That thing had the power to straight up one shot Yhwach with Soul King powers. Not once but twice. That's literally God tier levels of power in the Bleach verse. Mayuri even goes on to say in the Can't Fear Your Own World novels that no one alive is stronger than Ichigo. This doesn't detract from anything else other characters have such as on this list, but Tensa Zangetsu is pretty much the meaning of pure power in Bleach.
Ichigo is a useless braindead character. He has no brain to use his power, the only thing he can do is spamming getsuga tensho. Yamamato wrecks him in all his forms, easily. Ichigo did not even put time to learn kido.
Mayuri mentioned "no one alive". In terms of pure power‚ I still think Zanka no Tachi is stronger than Tensa Zangetsu. Yhwach didn't want to fight it either‚ and it basically negates any defense with East‚ while North was able to easily destroy a copy of Yhwach's body (granted‚ before absorbing the Soul King)‚ while still having other abilities. There's a reason even Aizen didn't want to fight Yamamoto with his sword active. Also‚ Ichibei's bankai is such a cheat that I still would place it above Tensa Zangetsu. But maybe in 3rd place. (Also Kamishini no Wari should have been somewhere in here)
@@benikujaku4567 I hear you, the thing is though Yamamoto was (presumably) low on power after using his bankai and couldn't take out a normal Yhwach although the latter stole his bankai. Ichigo on the other hand got his bankai broken by Soul King Yhwach then got beat up, then got his quincy and hollow powers drained. His sword then gets remade and he STILL one shots Soul King Yhwach. Twice. While not being at full power. Yama is strong in bankai, ridiculously so but does he have the raw attack power to one shot a Soul King Yhwach? While drained of his power? There's no evidence in the manga (or outside) for that, in fact all points against, while Ichigo literally did. There's just no contest in terms of pure power that Tensa Zangetsu is in its own league. As for special abilities/hax that's where Ichigo's bankai seems to be way weaker compared to lots of characters in Bleach like those you mentioned. Then again, raw power at "godly levels" may compensate. Surely no one in Bleach from what we've seen would stand against the Original/Prime Soul King's raw power regardless of their hax (I don't think that's too far fetched of an assumption).
What I dislike about Kyoraku's bankai is that It's to abstract. Seems more like a "Deus Ex Machina" than a proper hability, in theory It can do anything and defeat anything as long as Kubo wants It to do so. That's so true that Lile Barro had to use his own deus ex machina to escape it. I like when things follow logical rules, like _Kisuke's Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame_ and Yamamoto's _Zanka no Tachi_
@@fdgoddemon4455 I mean alot of these abilities can be considered as “deus ex machina” but they are just straight up hax. I’d much rather prefer this over punching really hard like One Piece and DBZ or fights between whoever becomes bigger like Naruto lol
I think that Kyoraku's bankai is actually a lot stronger than it appears and there's a lot more to it than just what we see. You can effectively say that his sword's ability is "play". In it's shikai form, it plays children's games, in it's bankai form, it puts everybody nearby in a stage play. Rules of play have been set, but in Shikai form you can use them to your advantage, in Bankai you can't. What's more, there's nothing that says Kyoraku and his zanpakuto couldn't do an entirely different play, it just depends on the scenario. This fits in very well with his character, being carefree and almost childlike a lot of the time, but could become a very serious, caring, and empathetic person when the need arose. He also seems like the type to be familiar with a lot of different stage plays.
I wonder who's Zanpaktō has the most destructive abilities, other than old man Yama.. for obvious reasons. Lol Always been curious about their scaling, I mean just look at how white handles Zangetsu.. clearly more powerful and versatile than Ichigo even knows.
Nozarashi literally cut through a space void in shikai while immensely immature. Nozarashi had better feats than any shikai after Kenpachis fight with Gremmy. Nozarashis ability is to literally cut anything. Including reality itself.
Sorry to break it to you but that’s a misconception based on kenpachi boasting that there’s nothing that HE can’t cut No where is his blades ability mentioned We already know sayafushi exists meaning kenpachi blade can not have that ability
I kind of disagree for Shunshui’s bankai on the list if you put it on there because you believe he can change it based on the story he’s telling. Unless stated somewhere that I’m forgetting I don’t think we should make that assumption.
I mean‚ even as it is‚ transferring all wounds‚ poisoning the opponent‚ draining their Reiatsu and being automatically able to cut their head (including if they are normally immune to everything) is pretty damn broken. Plus‚ he has the ability to make several games become real‚ it's reasonable to think he could also make several plays become real.

Mind you - no sword has really a limit when it comes to evolving in power. We know that Yamamoto's sword wasn't as strong 1000 years before - as fake Yhwach is shocked with the powers of his bankai.
Great video surprised there is no mention of Ichibei I think he has the most broken Bankai
Did you actually imply Rukia has a stronger Ice type Zanpactou than Toshiro?? Because that’s what it sounded like and that’s completely false. Tosh By far has the strongest Ice type in the series.
Rukia doesn't have an Ice type zanpukuto, it is one that directly affects the surrounding temperature itself, and is definitely stronger than Toshiro's
@@bonKondebed Alright well I will wait for you to respond to this because how are u trying to ignore things in Black and white Text. Rukias Bankai can get her Killed after 1 Use, She has to almost kill her self to use her Bankai which ANY LT. rank Soul Reaper can flash step away from Rukias Bankai. Tosh Destroyed a Way tougher enemy than Rukia did.. ohh and did I mention he stops the function of anything that he freeze which includes Zanpactou abilities… Kubo him self always stated Tosh was stronger than Rukia plz stop with the head Cannon 😴
@@DeeProphet24 Your first headcanon; Kubo never stated anywhere that Hyorinmaru was stronger than Sode no Shirayuki. He has only mention Hyorinmaru to be the strongest Ice type zanpakuto, which doesn't include Rukia's.
Second headcanon, Toshiro hadn't "destroyed" anybody at all, he has yet to even kill anybody of note. It was a team effort of him, Kenpachi, and Byakuya.
The risks come from her inexperience with it, not the bankai itself as mentioned by both her and Byakuya
Toshiro only shuts down abilities pertaining considerably lower spiritual pressure than his, just like how bleach fights work, meaning its not something solely because of his bankai, it is based on him.
@@DeeProphet24 You also say that lieutenant class shinigami can dodge her bankai's effect when no, they wouldn't be able to in the first place. Her flash freeze takes place immediately upon her bankai release, its not an ability she has to prepare for like kido or other zanpakuto abilities like such. To avoid it, you have to clear the area before it is activated
@@DeeProphet24 the drawbacks of her bankai is because of her inexperience. Remember back in ss arc. Byakuya commented how ichigo's bankai was destroying his own body, its like that.
Great list, but for me should be:
5. Kenpachi
4. Urahara
3. Kyouraku
2. Ichibei
1. Yamamoto :)
Eyyyy my boy Ichigo got an honorable mention.
understandeble choices u my friend are a genius
I'm looking forwards to watch more of ur content
😉😊
Zaraki's bankai and Urahara's bankai was unexpected and hyped in manga
Urahara's is definitely underrated. It's like an impenetrable defence, and then some.
Good ranking I honestly think Shunsuis Bankai is 3 just under Ichibei and Yamamoto it’s so hax
Maybe I remember this wrong but I thought that the bankai of Chojiro Sasakibe was considered by Yamamoto as one of the most dangerous and strongest bankai out there with his manipulation of weather and thunder. It has been very long ago since I read bleach so I am unsure about it. It is sad though that it is never seen in action by Chojiro himself.
0:36 When he said that, a song immediately started playing in my head.
Adult Hitsuguya's bankai is definitely stronger than Rukia's bankai
For one it's no danger to him.
Thank you
These rukia fans are delusional lol. Like it's stronger, faster, and way more versatile but they keep saying the same things. "Oh it'll be stronger when it's complete."
@@Gervaj79 how do you freeze ice bro?
@@muleyamwiinga3988 freezing point is different from absolute zero, freezing point some molecular things can still move(espada no. 3 break out of ice, while being freeze), in absolute zero there's no movement at all, meaning you can freeze the wind itself, the thing toshiro is stronger is because he has more AOE and versatility, whereas Rukia is small area only
Yamamoto's bankai:
Pro: pretty strong
Con: reality may stop working
thank you for putting yamamoto genryusai up there !! just like you i've been waiting to see his bankai animated for years !!!!!!!!!
He even states that his bankai is like touching the Sun itself which he's like a Sun God himself
Completely agree with this list its simple and states the facts.
Yamas bankai is possibly the coolest bankai in the series imo
Why people's don't subscribe?! This is a so good content
I would put ichibei's first as it is stated to be the strongest zanpakto to be made while yamamto's is the second plus removing names from a being making their powers similar to an ants is far too op that yhwach needed almighty to beat it
I can't wait for the anime!! Also I agree with your chooses pretty much what I would have as my Top 5.
Ik this is unrelated but I think aizens bankais power allows him to see the truth in things which is the opposite of his shikai which wouldn't be a first for a zanpaktou
I've seen this theory before and personally hope this is the case.
I think that his Bankai is complete hypnosis of the self, rather than others, as this would explain how he became so powerful as a Captain, with twice the normal reitsu and the highest proficiency in the Kido Arts.
Kiskues bankai fits perfectly with hid character and easily one of my favorites
I wonder if this would change if you added the bankia from the novels.
I doubt it. 7th Kenpachi can’t control his Bankai and can’t even use it again until 6 months down time. And 8th Kenpachi Bankai couldn’t even beat Kenpachi.
@@thealmightypuht.a.p. hisagi has a cool bankai one of the best
Then cfyow kenpachi moves to 1 on this list because he scales above a being who is a Soul king candidate which means you have to have that level of power to do so
@@Maxjuliann not really. It prevents both people from dying. Meaning he needs aomeone outside the Bankai effects to kill the enemy. He is completely reliant on a partner to win a fight.
@@kingwill1623 I agree but Hikone is not a peak candidate like Ichigo. Obviously the fact he is a Soul King Candidate is more than enough to put Kenpachi at 1 but compared to Ichigo as a Candidate Hikone is definitely weaker. Literally the fact that Tokinada planned to make Ichigo unavailable before carrying out his plan proves that.
I subscribed to your channel bro !
So, as much as i want to see Yama's bankai, I want to see the captain thousand years ago in his prime. We know how strong ywhach bach is so its incomprehensible how strong yamamoto was in his prime to be able to murder Quincies like they were flies. I also feel like, he shouldn't have gone out the way he did which felt humiliating and undeserving for someone of that stature. Instead of it having been a seesaw fight, it could've been a toe to toe fight until he is fatigued by old age. Just my opinion. Quincies stealing bankai ability is just lame. It's like the rinnegan absorbing jutsu from naruto, hax make fights boring.
Well different bankai can have different potency against different opponent. I will generally rank them. Both ichigo, zaraki bankai are about power so gonna leave them.
1. Ichibei by far
2. Yamamoto
3. Azashiro
4. Urahara
5. Toshiro
6. Shuhei Hisagi
7. Mayuri/unohana
8. Shunsui/shinji
Katen kyokatsu is very powerful ... In reality he have no limits ... He just used 4 in front of Lille baarrro
Yes‚ he just used these four acts because they were the ones that could still affect an opponent that can go through any physical or Kido attack‚ but he probably has other plays
@@benikujaku4567 Like, I thought maybe he could invent them on the fly, almost like Mayuri's Matai Fukuin Shoutai, it could be capable of a great many things. It just is a last-ditch sort of deal if MAD is the only viable solution.
Best fight within the series ...well honestly do all of them please .. you rock
Definitely a deserved number one 🤗
Also, one thing to keep in mind, Yamamoto thought quincies couldn’t steal bankais if they didn’t know its full power, this was proven wrong, but Yamamoto quickly used his bankai again under this assumption when the real Yhwach appeared, even though Jugram watched the entire fight and 4 techniques, with the Hell arc confirmed, there is a really high chance we’ll get to see ZnT Center, or maybe some other things not shown
Not really I'd put it at 3. Azashiro and Kuriyashiki's bankai's are stronger
@@fiery_agency lmao 🤣🤣🤣 overrated, unohana would heal those two just so she can fight them again 🤣🤣🤣
@@fiery_agency Rukia would freeze both of them, he ability is absolute zero. She can reduce the temperature of ANYTHING to absolute zero, below freezing point or zero kelvin
@@kennethangelo4924 no Kuriyashiki bankai is busted you know that right
Yes love your list 😜
Kubo stated that Hitsugaiya is the strongest Ice type.
Yea, I don't know where he got the info from....
Hakka no Togame isn't an Ice type zanpukuto, its one that directly affects temperature itself and is definitely stronger than Daiguren Hyorinmaru
@@bonKondebed no it’s not
you read the manga through tiktoks and instagram reels or something?
@Perseus Apollyon Nah. Ya mama told me!
Great list bro
Grown hitsugaya has me questioning things 🥺
My favorite Bankai is the 3rd from this list, because: it's the most bad ass name, that woman doll is Benihime looks like Ukitake's heart and because how he calls it out. Superb.
Zanka No Tachi is definitely my favorite along with Yamamoto as a character. I hate that he was killed off so early and frivolously. I hope they rewrite it a little bit for the anime
Technically he's still alive
@ItsGreater didnt you read the no breaths from hell one shot?
@ItsGreater it's just one chapter
I'm sudded sir I share your channel all the time
A top 5 bankai list is literally impossible to do correctly. Cause there are so many stupidly op bankai in the series. Everybody will have their favorite and we get mix messages about the full potential of some compared to the full power of others. All in all I think it's a solid list even if I'd put Tensa Zangetsu higher... like 2nd or 3rd... I still respect the effort
unohana 's bankai is definitiely the cutest of them all!
Each and every character who has defeated Yamamoto has used a Cheat cuz they know they are no match for him. They don't want to fight him head on with honour.
I like they respect his power enough to not even try.
I am so excited to see all these BANKAI in the thousand year blood war arc can't wait for October for Bleach to release
I can't believe you didn't include Unohana's bankai 💀
We dont even have any explaination on what it does besides the visuals, why would he include it ?
@@J.c410 She actually said that the bankai was so powerfull and destructive to her and others that she had to learn high level Kido so she could heal herself and not die while using it, you can see in some pages during the fight that she heals herself and Kenpachi so they both could have an actual battle... I think that is enough reason to include her bankai at least in the honorable mentions despite the fact that the actaul bankai was not explained completely.
@@GeniusL no she never said that about her bankai lmao, je sais she learned kido juqt to be able to fight longer that's all. And that still doesnt give us any clue about what it does or how to scale it
@@J.c410 She said that too later in the chapter, but it is obvious that she had to master the kido to heal herself or she wouldn't be able to use her bankai at all, she was melting too after she activated the bankai, and she literally said to kenpachi that he had no idea why she had to master the healing kido 'You can not possibly know why I mastered my kaido' after those words she activated the bankai, and the next page they were both melting cause of it, the next one, she was healing herself and kenpachi, so it was obvious, it was implied that the reason for her mastery to heal was because of her bankai which does not make what you said before false, because she does says that! but like three pages after, both things can be true at once.
Your so detailed ! SUBBED
toshiro bankai is much stronger than rukias
Surprised that Azashiro wasn't mentioned
not to mention how Zaraki literally ripped the entire arm off from the Sternritter M just using the mouth while biting him. holy shit
also, for Zanka no Tachi, the water in the entirety of the soul society (as Unohana stated) was slowly evaporating and the only thing keeping the 15M°C temperature away to vaporize anything around him was the spiritual pressure of yamamoto himself (that's also why he couldn't release it on the Earth)
the heat IS his SP
LMAO didn't Gerard then whack him down? And even after Kenny still fucked up his feet 😂
Great video, you make a video on your Top 5 Devil Fruits from One Piece
The great Hanataro wrecks him easy.
Its not that deep
I mean his shikai is about games, and his bankai is about plays so yes its supposed to "Deus Ex Machina" but not really at the same time
@@fdgoddemon4455 I mean alot of these abilities can be considered as “deus ex machina” but they are just straight up hax.
I’d much rather prefer this over punching really hard like One Piece and DBZ or fights between whoever becomes bigger like Naruto lol
I'm pretty sure the acts of his bankai are set and don't change
Lol
Always been curious about their scaling, I mean just look at how white handles Zangetsu.. clearly more powerful and versatile than Ichigo even knows.
Nozarashi literally cut through a space void in shikai while immensely immature. Nozarashi had better feats than any shikai after Kenpachis fight with Gremmy. Nozarashis ability is to literally cut anything. Including reality itself.
False that’s not the ability of Kenny’s sword as there is already sayafushi existing that has that ability and no two swords can have the same ability
@@logandelaharpe6362 Well sorry to break it to you but that's what Nozarashi did.
Sorry to break it to you but that’s a misconception based on kenpachi boasting that there’s nothing that HE can’t cut
No where is his blades ability mentioned
We already know sayafushi exists meaning kenpachi blade can not have that ability
Meaning any feats are raw strength on kennies part
You think Hakka no togame is stronger then hyorinmaru?
I kind of disagree for Shunshui’s bankai on the list if you put it on there because you believe he can change it based on the story he’s telling. Unless stated somewhere that I’m forgetting I don’t think we should make that assumption.
I mean‚ even as it is‚ transferring all wounds‚ poisoning the opponent‚ draining their Reiatsu and being automatically able to cut their head (including if they are normally immune to everything) is pretty damn broken. Plus‚ he has the ability to make several games become real‚ it's reasonable to think he could also make several plays become real.
1) yamas bankai
2) ichibei's bankai
3) shunsui's bankai
4) kisuke's bankai
5) zarakis bankai
honorable mentions: azashiro , kuruyashiki, shinji and rose' s Kinshara butodan (I know about weak spot but still cool bankai)
