I Tried Relaunching My Failed Business - Ep.1: In this video I go over what changes I'm looking at making to the core of my sunglasses business wubo. I want the brand to have a different look and feel to it. Before it was focused on minimalism and simplicity, but I want to have some fun with it now. Starting a brand or business from scratch has so many steps, and in this series I want to document everything I'm doing up until we relaunch. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching!

Hey I'm not cad specialist but I have messed with it and the fact you spent that much money on the render is not good. The whole process should have took around 2-3 weeks if she was just making a 3d model. I cad robot parts and it took 3 hours for a completely new mechanic start to finish and it took 4 hours to render before printing. So basically 1 year bad 1 month good 👍
Love the look of some of those lenses. Would 100% use them as eyeglasses or sunglasses. Can’t wait till you relaunch.
Did you go with the cheaper child slave labor or the more expensive US manufacturing? Just wondering so i know if i should not these or not.

maybe a thing to consider: You said that you wanted your brand to have a louder, artistic image rather than a minimalist one. You could transfer that idea to the boxes: instead of going with a neutral and minimal design like you have now try something that is a more chaotic and loud. My idea: put splashes or stripes in vibrant colors on the boxes, the you can stil keep the modern letter on the box that make is look clean.
On the wood ones put your logo on front. Thanks so much for sharing 💜

The wood one was for sure my favourite but i think if you wanted to put a logo onto it try to make like a laser engraving and then like fill it back up in like some sort of black to show the logo

Sunglasses are a very complex business. You are dealing not just with the fickle whims of fashion, but also that they are optional pieces and not requirements. Fashion does the job of covering the parts and also giving style. Sunglasses aren't first on the list thing for many people. Also, you are fighting against big, well established brands that can not only produce a wide range of styles, but also actually create a market around their unique styles through marketing and promotion (and of course, influencers!).
So for what it's worth, just remember: while the product is very important, getting into the right people's hands and onto their face is where you can make a breakthrough. Sadly, that takes cubic dollars!

Yo hit up fuse lenses. They are an insane brand. There motto was basically it’s not the frame is the lenses. It worked and they are kinda huge now. They won’t help you make frames most likely but they can 1000% give you cheap polarized lenses.
Make.fully circle glasses. Like Vash the stampede or hellsing.

man this felt like the longest short ever weird
Got one sunglasses (some aviator style glasses), been using them couple of days in a year (imo noone really need them unless they think is cool) , they are 10 years old and they fine for me for another 10-20 years. Do the math how much you going to earn from another me (and there is billions around the world) - 0$. From business perspective you need to do other stuff than glasses to, and change that periodically. That got me thinking why you start it again, and I think you must love doing sun glasses, so do it in a smaller scale (one or three models max) for bigger price, for those who will be appreciating them and your work.
