Old video, but I just found it and I think 1 thing that really needs to be stressed is the growth of Non-dilutive capital options. Creating a company that has solid recurring revenue, it just doesn't make sense to give up equity for funding. There are some really cool options out there including Clearbanc, Hustle Flywheel, and FundStory (kind of like a NerdWallet to compare different options). I highly recommend founders check these options out before they give up large swathes of their business.

It's not like sign here, here, here and then suddenly a year has passed. A lot goes into marketing and finances. and in reality: you failed to sell you product and barely make any money. you loose all of the invested money and bag the investors to keep believing in you and give you more. they give you a bit more but it still doesnt work. you then cry at home alone. a few days/weeks later - you get yourself up and keep grinding with a new business. after 10 years and several failed businesses you finally make it big and become a millionair. happy ending (though most will quit on the first try).

The employees are usually excluded from taking profits in an IPO due to a lockout period the Executives/Founders and Investors aren't beholden to. They take the money and run and the employees get little. Worse: The founders/executives churn and burn employees so they never make their 1 year "cliff vest" and get NOTHING from the IPO for their work (and often their wages were decreased with the empty promise of accruing equity via the company stock plan).

Technically, kickstarter is closer to selling your product than selling your company. They don't own part of your company, but once you start producing your product, you usually have some contract to give them the products first, or do something snazy.
Kickstarter / Crowdfunding is more equal to selling pre-orders or receiving donations. If you look at Kickstarter, these projects don't offer you any part of their company in return, all you get is their product once it's created, hence you are pre-ordering. The lowest tiers where you usually pay $1 - $10, often doesn't include receiving the actual product, but rather things like, being mentioned in the credits, or receiving a thank you email, which is equivalent to donations.

Old video, but I just found it and I think 1 thing that really needs to be stressed is the growth of Non-dilutive capital options. Creating a company that has solid recurring revenue, it just doesn't make sense to give up equity for funding. There are some really cool options out there including Clearbanc, Hustle Flywheel, and FundStory (kind of like a NerdWallet to compare different options). I highly recommend founders check these options out before they give up large swathes of their business.

Most newbies fail simply because they don't understand how the market works in general or in particular how the market relates to stock/forex or currency pair they entering. If a retail trades doesn't grasp what the market makers are doing and when they are doing it, the greatest strategy in the world will fall. This video is clearly made out of the viewpoint of a developer who thinks he knows how to do the finances of a startup. It's not like sign here, here, here and then suddenly a year has passed. A lot goes into marketing and finances. The product is useless if a decent model isn't setup that is thorough in all departments of businesses. Look at the 7 business functions and youll get a better idea!

Great video, well organised and simple information on a topic that is often made more complicated than it needs to be
and in reality: you failed to sell you product and barely make any money. you loose all of the invested money and bag the investors to keep believing in you and give you more. they give you a bit more but it still doesnt work. you then cry at home alone. a few days/weeks later - you get yourself up and keep grinding with a new business. after 10 years and several failed businesses you finally make it big and become a millionair. happy ending (though most will quit on the first try).

People go to your locations to file tax. In the process, you avoid hefty marketing costs, because people find your business more often than your business finds people. The employees are usually excluded from taking profits in an IPO due to a lockout period the Executives/Founders and Investors aren't beholden to. They take the money and run and the employees get little. Worse: The founders/executives churn and burn employees so they never make their 1 year "cliff vest" and get NOTHING from the IPO for their work (and often their wages were decreased with the empty promise of accruing equity via the company stock plan).

What if you get money from kickstarter?
Technically, kickstarter is closer to selling your product than selling your company. They don't own part of your company, but once you start producing your product, you usually have some contract to give them the products first, or do something snazy.
Kickstarter / Crowdfunding is more equal to selling pre-orders or receiving donations.
If you look at Kickstarter, these projects don't offer you any part of their company in return, all you get is their product once it's created, hence you are pre-ordering.
The lowest tiers where you usually pay $1 - $10, often doesn't include receiving the actual product, but rather things like, being mentioned in the credits, or receiving a thank you email, which is equivalent to donations.

it's a new type of restaurant : eating-spots,
in an eating-spot, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate,
thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are way more powerful than restaurants,
along with that, there is a mobile app,
people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days,
menu is influenced by the live input of the customers via an app
