I think the competitors need to take the stand. Simply refuse to turn out when a "trans woman" is in the field.

She recently broke down in tears and had a massive meltdown over being seen in school without make up on!? I was shocked, but also confused because i would of thought that make up in school was not allowed since forever? But apparently the school had been relaxed about it and then went in the other direction and started enforcing the no make up rules!
I had no idea that my daughter had such a low level of self confidence and felt this huge pressure to look a certain way!? Its heart breaking.

It’s no good just moaning about it, if all the women refused to take part in any event in which one of these freaks was included, the organisers would have no other option but to cancel all events or kick the freaks out, and they aren’t going to cancel events, cause they would be out of a job.
People usually only compete in the Olympics twice. If women refuse they will lose out on their one chance. If all competitors (men too) refused to compete they would get some where.

I was arguing with my husband about this. He asked what events I was going to be watching. I said none of the women's because they might have trans athletes. He said it was sorted 9 months ago and they weren't going to be allowed, I told him it wasn't sorted and they were. I won't be watching it.

They did mixed boys and girls races at my daughter's sports day, but it was primary school and they've always had mixed sports days. My daughter managed to win one race, and got 2nd and 3rd in others, however that wouldn’t happen against secondary school age boys. I would hope all secondary schools are separating the kids for sports.

College Volleyball in Ontario allow male students who identify as female to compete. I watched one game… I believe it was Seneca college (not sure) who had 5 trans-male athletes on the female team…. These self identifying students played the entire game, whilst the female athletes became bench warmers.

It really does annoy me that something that is so obviously wrong is still allowed to happen.
I say this as a Post-Op transsexual who I began taking cross-sex hormones in my teens. Am now almost 60 years old and I still feel I would have advantages over most average females my age when it comes to tasks where strength plays a big part.

School sports wee fantastic when i was a kid in the early 90's. The sports day was the highlight of the year, seeing who was the fastest boy and girl, it was great fun and I loved it.

Transwoman here. Can I just say I don't think transwomen should be able to compete with biological women especially if they have gone through a male puberty. I don't agree with Kevin saying we're "erasing women" though. These sporting organizations can come to some middle ground if they really want to, third categories would be a good idea. Lets have fairness for these women who train their whole lives for this.

You can talk about this as much as you like but actions speak louder than words. What needs to happen is that all elite women athletes need to refuse to compete when a transgender athlete is allowed to compete against them. If the olympics allow this rubbish I will not be watching ANY Olympics footage in protest. this will be the first time I will have boycotted the Olympics which I have loved to watch in the past. its the only sports forum I can watch some sports that never gets media coverage in the UK normally
