I am a Brazilian psychoanalyst, and I would like to share my thoughts on this gender discussion. It seems to me that the most central point of the issue has not been addressed in your programs. The major flaw in the argument in favor of transgender individuals is that they are denying themselves. Let me explain.
A man who identifies as a woman is just that: a man who identifies as a woman; a trans. This individual must be respected and have their rights. But they do not want to be a trans woman, that is, a man who identifies as a woman. They want to be a woman, which they are not. Therefore, they are prejudiced against themselves. In other words, they do not accept being trans. The most prejudiced here are they themselves. Because if they accepted being trans, they would be fighting for the rights of trans people, not for the right to be what they are not.

Well, there is Patricio Manuel but I can't say I know of any others and his career is quite early as far as boxing goes. Every once in awhile, you'll come across a woman you just don't want to mess with. I met one like that on a construction site I worked with. She was probably one of the strongest people I have ever known. Man, she was burly. As rare as those women are, I could see them competing in men's sports, especially combat related sports. That being said I don't think those rare instances justify trans women being in women's sports.

I don’t understand why the trans community doesn’t pave their own lane. I’m in a wheelchair and my community still wanted competition so we set up our own divisions via the special olympics and other organizations that allow us to compete with each other. Why can’t trans athletes do the same?

When my daughter was a teenager, she came home crying because she tried to break up with her boyfriend and he was threatening to kill himself if she left him. I told her what I want to tell Fransesca, she is not responsible for his life, if he wants to harm himself, he needs help but it's not her responsibility. Women and girls are not responsible for trans suicides. Women and girls do not have to give up their own rights to prevent someone else from harming themselves.

The bigger picture is that trans discussion in women's sports lead to incredible amounts of bullying, which sadly leads to suicide much too often. Francesca is, in her own view, fighting for what she thinks is a much bigger concern than sports. I personally also believe that no one is responsible for someone's suicide, even bullies, but the statistics are way too clear on the issue. When a trans teenager sees Francesca defending her unconditionally, it might flip just the switch over. Things like this can make the difference.

Here are the numbers for why the NBA is paid more then the WNBA. The NBA has an average of 17,184 at games compared to 5,679 average attendance at WNBA game. The NBA makes $10 billion a year from its fans, the WNBA makes $60 million from its fans, and the NBA averages 11.6 million viewers, the WNBA only averages 728 thousand viewers. So until woman want to support the WNBA stop taking about fair pay.

I can at least see women supporting trans women because A) they like the idea of equality even if there are some things we need to study and work out, B) they like the idea of people being free to be who they are, and C) Trans people are not stripping biological females of bodily autonomy and raping them.

I personally don’t even feel comfortable undressing in front of a real woman let alone a fake one! This is another way in which men are trying to belittle and denigrate women and furthermore erode our rights. Trans women should have their own changing rooms and make up their own sports teams in which trans women can compete against other trans women. I feel sorry for the athletes who train for years only to have their dreams destroyed by biological males!
