Nice work on this. Do you have the Carb part number by chance? Looking to replace mine.
That was one of the reasons I got this mower is that the carb is easy to work on. They also sell the carb kits and the whole carb for less than $25. Also I found Home Depot of all places has Power Smart parts. The engine and carb are the best thing about the mower. Lots of power and reliable starts. The bad is all the plastic junk all over wont last!
I own a service/repair shop, as stated in my reply above, PowerSmart or Amerisun offers NO product support thru authorized service centers or independent dealers, the engines are made by Rato Power same company who made the Harbor Freight predator engines for decades, What people don't understand big box stores like Home Depot are just a reseller/retailer they are NOT a true source of parts or service unlike a service center (like myself and my shop) which has trained service personnel. My honest opinion on PowerSmart is they might be a good brand and use a good engine but their lack of product support makes me not recommended them.
@@TheOutdoorPowerGuy - In Canada, PowerSmart/Amerisun offers product support (warranty covered) thru authorized service centers = Canadian Tire, a common store.
Which spark plug model does this 161cc Powersmart mower take?
My Powersmart was puffin white smoke out the exhaust, turns out there was gas in the oil. I emptied out the oil gas mix into a jug and replaced it with oil. Would cleaning out the carb prevent this from occurring again? I'm just going off other videos I watched.
just run fresh gas thru it and replace the spark plug, it will eventually burn it all out. don't use mix gas in 4 cycle equipment :)
Mine is putting gas in the sponge air filter and white smoke, put non ethanol gas in it too! I’m an Iraq vet. Any idea?
At 4:05 you say you took it out of the ultrasonic. Should we have seen what an ultrasonic looks like and how you used it?

unfortunately i won't show my ultrasonic solution set up as it's a trade secret of mine as to how i mix and use it as i came up with the solution i use in it, i will say i don't use the corrosive green degreaser from Harbor Freight.
I don't know what this guy is talking about. I just looked at the power smarts website it's actually pretty nice. You can order any part you can possibly imagine. All the mowers are on sale it's Black Friday.

Good/great video, I just wish your volume was louder. (I know you apologized for the a/c and mentioned it's hot.) RUclips is at max, laptop is at max, I'm in a quiet environment, but I still miss too many words to know what you're saying. It's fine at the start, but 2:50 (float ___), __3:15__-__3:20__ (multiple), __3:55__ ("so now it's all ___ ultrasonic cleaner"), ... Maybe if I had headphones or an amplifying speaker. -- Edit: I did detect around the 5 minute mark, "nitrile gloves", and "float pin".
