- I don't know what the story is behind this place but I wish I knew, Sad to see what's left behind from this family. Whatever happened here, I hope things are better now.

Wonderful, calm exploration. I really liked this video, it was a good watch.
And it really makes you wonder what happened to the family that was living there - where they are now, and if they are doing well. The state it was left behind makes me think of an evacuation...
And the place really is what I define abandoned: Most of the stuff is in its usual place, no graffiti, no vandalism, just left to decay and not being demolished. A real time capsule, that's for sure!
I always try to keep clam and not yell like others do. Gets really annoying imo. I would love to know the story behind this place and yeah, I hope whoever lived here at one point is now in a better place. Surprisingly this house is so far out that might be the reason for very little vandalism or could be nature. Prolly my second time ever seen a time capsule.

Try to check out the dates on newspapers you find and the expiration dates on the food left. It’s a good way to date when it was last lived in

And calendars, the one on the wall was from 2011.
If a person dies without a will, the government ( court) decides who gets the property. This applies to real estate as well as personal property.
So you would have to pay the taxes on the property to take it over?

I love the bathroom sink. The machine next to it is an old heater lol. That place is awesome. So sad it is deteriorating. So many things left behind. TY for sharing
I wonder why heaters were placed in the bathroom for? It is sad and part of life too.
@@DeadlyKnot I have one in my bathroom downstairs. Not enough heat in my house. If you take a shower and don't have central heat or a good heat source well there you have it. It's for older homes and poor folks lol

Yuppies, finally got some boots! When I go o these places I always let my presents be known. I don't want know jump scary of something living inside.
The calendar date was 2011, sad that nobody's been back to look after what was once a loving family home now soon to be consumed by nature.. great video as always.

I find myself sometimes imagining how I would set up the house in some of these abandoned places. I don’t blame you for not wanting to go through all that stuff. You don’t know what was left.

It’s very strange that the bedrooms upstairs have no clothes left. I didn’t see any children’s clothes in the house, just their toys and bunk bed.

You would be amazed at what gets left behind...my fav kind of urban exploration..
I found a place kayaking once. All I could see was a wind mill piece and some roofline. Trees bushes grew up right beside the house. Corner of roof was slowly prying open by bamboo growth. All glass was intact! Door fell off hinges when I opened it. LOADED WITH ANTIQUES...it was like I stepped into another time...30s 40s Germany Italy. Floors were rotted. I left. No road or lane anywhere..a place time forgot.
I did some digging...the house was built during ww1. Wasn't lived in until after Ww2. German family. Stayed 5 yrs in it and haven't been back since. BUT....taxes are paid every yr on it....
Now that sounds like something I want to film!
That Dearborn is for a heating turn the bathroom to be heated when you get in and out of a bath tell me about the bathroom is nice you can tell it has some type of renovation because the tub area has a new facade to it and also the toilet looks fairly new even the sink looks new but with just the old look that was a big bathroom the bathroom linen closet was even big you can make that into a bunk area😮😊❤ 18:29
I've seen a couple of videos of abandoned houses that had multiple beds in the bedrooms because they were being used as a hunters lodge during hunting season.

I'm glad to see the boots! Here in Arizona, when exploring old places, we have to be especially careful to watch for killer bee hives. They love old abandoned buildings, and it's possible to get swarmed if someone makes too much noise. Putting out a little bit of sugar water with honey will let one know right away if there's a hive around. Sometimes you don't see them until you're on them 😮
Also, do you know if the family experienced a tragedy? Strange to have so much left behind. You may have said something but l missed it. Thank you for a great video.
Ps. I'd love to have all that wood and lumber in that house!
lol, finally showing them on camera. I'd hate to step on them and get stung. I'd have to take a peek on Google Maps and see what I can find in that state. I'm not too sure of the story, this was a random stop on the road with me and my friend. That wood is old.
What a pristine find! It either hasn't been abandoned very long, or somehow the looters and thugs haven't managed to find it. Great job with the filming and video editing! 👍

It looks like those are square nails upstairs… square nails were used pre-1880s… that is an old house

What a beautiful but sad place it remined me of my childhood home on some to the rooms like the bathroom. How amazing it looks I wished I could fix it up and live there now . Thank You for sharing ! I want to go explore .

OH, that's what the is? Okay, was curious. So, my friend who is in the video found some information on this place but he's still not sure if its the real history/family that lived there. Not sure when he'll post it but maybe you can listen to what he found... whenever he post it lol. I do whatever I can now days to be safe going to these places. I've learned a lot from people on here!

The house has just female cloths but other one was taken away. So no one was in need to wear the cloths any more. This house was a memorial place and a man came there to drink beer and have memories. This house was a kind of church.

They either died and had no one to leave the house to or something happened and they moved and left all their stuff they couldn’t take behind!
Rhat could happen. I've seen my fair share of abandoned places like this and 90% of the time I have no idea what the story behind it is.

It sound like I heard very faint other footsteps plus it's a nice house and it seems like it hasn't been too long since someone has been there because totally the way it looks on the outside you wouldn't think that's how it would look on the inside. 6:53 😊
lol, so that's my friend RangerRickTv, He was getting photos and B roll for his video. The house overall is neat, just a little TLC, cut the grass and bam, up and running. Lol right.

The family members could have dies and there was no one to leave the house to. But it could also be haunted never know unless a investigation is done on home have u tried to do a background check On The place go to the library and See if there is any information on the place or maybe on line..

Do you see how one side of that bed cover is stained in that brass bed in that bedroom upstairs what's the bed by itself the second room that he went into, yeah I was staying like it was a person that was laying there on that particular side of that bed, hoping no one passed on that side of the bed and maybe someone just wet the bed😮 33:54
My friend pointed that out to me, the stains on the bed upstairs, not sure what happened.

Well it was lived in up until 2011
So I'm guessing the room with the bunk bed in it was a room for the boys and the very first loft room at the stairs that you went into what is a room for the girls not sure of who the room could have been for with the brass band probably for another relative maybe it was the parents room and the master room downstairs was for a grandparent or this was probably a home that fostered children because one of the bedrooms that you went into that had junk in it and table and chairs that's probably where they done their homework or learning at, I'm just speculating😊 35:55
This house does tell a story and i wish i knew what it was, but yeah. a bunch of beds for the kids or grandkids etc.

This house was a random find while traveling back roads, and I don't know who owns it as there was no mailbox, house number, and other houses around it are also abandoned. It's like everyone up and left in a hurry. I'd like to know the story, too, so I didn't want to make a false information video, not knowing what happened here.

Kenmore used to be a reputable name but most of todays washers are designed to last approx 3 - 7 years.

I still have no clue.
Most likely an elderly person passed away and either didn't have family to leave the house to or no one in the family could afford to pay the taxes and upkeep on the house.
