I know you usually don’t work on Hondas or Toyotas but a Honda s2000 build or a Toyota Supra build or old JDM cars would give a nostalgic vibe… cheers to all you do bruv
I'll go with the Fords. Especially the Cosworth, I can even work with the Supra, but a Honda S2000? Unless you put an obscene amount of money into it, You'll never get it even to the point of taking on my Opel Astra... YES! I drive an Astra. You British guys would probably rather associate that with Vauxhall, But no. Mine is an Opel. The least talked about German brand. Yet. I am still waiting for the Golf G.T.I that can take me. Oh, and did I mention she's 24 years old? Your Golf doesn't need to be, though. She eats 2023 G.T.I's for breakfast. In fact. There's still some G.T.I stuck in her teeth from the last race. And I will admit. Had that car a driver that knew what he was doing, he could have murdered me. Sometimes having a fast car is not all it takes.
@@riaankruger9572 uhh buddy ol pal, enough with the essays. Sometimes driving isn’t all about speed, but nostalgia and aesthetic of a good looking car…
Thank you my lad!!! I love these Extended vids, even though I've seen all the shorter ones. They refresh my memory and keep me out of trouble for a while.
I've seen the vast majority of your builds and this is by far my favorite. The level of achievement with this one is outstanding. Keep up the good work.
I love seeing you working with your Dad. The relationship between Father and Son is so special and strong. Take as many steps to spend time with him you’ll be grateful later. Sorry just lost mine not to long ago and your dad reminds me of mine. Love your vids keep up the great work
Love the channel and the bmw builds . Had similar with my 330d basically did what you did and just removed damage and welded in new simple . I will never own an M3 or 5 but thank you for the great videos ✌️✌️
I like when you put your personal touch on your builds. I understand the concept. It's your car, do what ever you want with it, you want to stand out against what comes from the factory. In my opinion, that's what real cars guys do. Car snobs can go kick rocks. Keep rockn to your music. 👍
I just replaced a front fender myself that my neighbor smashed into and it wasn't that bad but lining everything up perfectly is proving to be a pain. But after seeing this rear quarter being replaced I have no complaints. It really turned out right and did not look easy at all.
Guys, I've watched a few of your videos to include the Mansory Rolls, and I'm enjoying the videos more and more. I especially love the interactions with your dad. I wish you and your team continued success and I also wish you and your dad many more days of fun and happiness.
The results of the rebuild on the rear quarter section were more than impressive. It appears that Jack's involvement was quite key, but Matt, Tony, etal obviously did their parts as well. I would have thought the trunk gap which the team achieved was not possible, at least not without adding material to edges and/or seams. Says something about the consistency of fit BMW parts were stamped to. I would like to know whether you tracked the hours the team spent on the job, not including the videographer's time. Multiple that total number of hours by the typical shop rate in your favorite body shop, and you'll have the true investment of getting this vehicle back on the road. But it would not change the fact that you have shown it is possible if a DIYer is willing to put in the time. Not sure Mat, or Tony qualify as a 'typical DIYer' after the series of cars you have had your fingers into. Thanks for the entertainment throughout.
A silent Filipino follower here bro Matt! I wish I could have one of these lit sports car in the future. You're such an inspiration to the Youth and a great son to your dad! Hope you would visit Philippines soon. God bless you and your team. Cheers!
Mind blowing
I want to say that the job on this one was eggcellent. However I wanted to give you a tip on the 1/4 panel install. Insurance companies require a 3 inch piece of metal to bridge where the jamb and roof line meet to support the unusual marrying of the outer metal. You spray the piece that goes underneath with weld through primer then weld it in. I hope this helps you.
It was the full rebuilds that got me to the channel took two weeks catching up on everything thats been posted - now I am hooked and wait impatiently for the posts. I like to leave the full vids on in the background now for when I'm working in my man cave!
I absolutely love this guy! I actually find myself waiting for his videos to post! Americans men, well real American men don’t normally admit it! But this guy is awesome! Keep up the great videos!

Man, the amount of effort you put into this rebuild is awesome! It’s like watching a masterpiece unfold. 🚗💨 Plus, who knew a BMW could get so much love after a crash? It feels like a comeback story. Can't wait to see what you tackle next! 🔧💪
I've been following adro for a while and seeing you use it for this m3 it's just a bliss, their kits are awesome and together with the yellow lights it's perfect match ❤
The Professionals! Hi Mat, what a great job on the B M no job to big t tackle! Jack arriving from the U S to lend a hand at doing the intricate work on the backend he’s a special sort of mate both him and Freddy!!! You’ve met some people from around the World since deciding on making what you do into showing us the fans anything is possible no matter what it is if you have the correct attitude and belief in yourself the rewards along with the satisfaction of doing what you love are attainable and you’re the proof!!! Keep on entertaining us with your special insight of picking the cars you repair and making them whole again just like ther where when they came out of factory in most cases better than!!! A great team working with the maestro all the way👍👍👍
Hey Mat! Modern headlights often contain some intelligence within their electronic circuits to control and monitor various functions. These are known as control units. During the vehicle's initialization, the headlight control unit and other modules register on a communication bus (CAN) to exchange messages, receive commands, etc. This is an addressed communication bus, which is likely why swapping the modules resolved the issue. If the new one has an address that is already taken or not registered by the master system, it won't be recognized and can't function properly. :) Hope this helps! Vince
Hats off to u guys !! O my at the connectors and sensors and hoses on these newer cars it’s overwhelming and if u forget to connect one thing it all has to come back apart!! Really ppl don’t think about how difficult this all is !!! Bravo bravo bravo
Such an awesome video watched the whole thing this is what I prefer over like 14min videos.. Such an epic build I love g80's..Such extremely Clean build with perfect power.. Much Respect from New Jersey Brother 🤘🏼..
Wicked transformation from a brutal crash. It looked like it was a lot of work, but a lot smother to do this one. The question is , was this because of the Ratchford RR fix, or did this fix made the Ratchford RR fix easier ? Excellent job nonetheless, congrats!
In the accident @25:20 ... notice that he made the sharper turn at ~150 kmh / 92 mph and crashed from a turn he entered at about 60 mph / 100 kmh. Why..? Bc in the shallower turn he entered it while slamming on his brakes (braking maxes out at 97.86%). Transferring all the grip off the back tires to the front & oversteering as result. 🤣 Then, as soon as the rear wheels got enough grip to change direction he went into a house. 🤣 And that video is the evidence police & insurance get when we think no one saw what happened. 😲😇
I would of thought you would of gone old school for alignment.. I had it done with string and a tape measure .. was spot on .. laser alightment only needs a draft of wind and boom it's out
Thank you Matt and Matts brilliant genius Dad I wish I could fix my car I’ll never be able to afford or fix up and old banger. But huge thank you for keeping company when I get an hour or so .
