One day bro. Why not... I own a 2013 328i and I am intent on doing as much of the work on it that I possibly can. Its not unreasonable to dream that one day Ill have the money but more importantly the technical skills and friends to pull off amazing projects like this one.
I know you usually don’t work on Hondas or Toyotas but a Honda s2000 build or a Toyota Supra build or old JDM cars would give a nostalgic vibe… cheers to all you do bruv
I'll go with the Fords. Especially the Cosworth, I can even work with the Supra, but a Honda S2000? Unless you put an obscene amount of money into it, You'll never get it even to the point of taking on my Opel Astra... YES! I drive an Astra. You British guys would probably rather associate that with Vauxhall, But no. Mine is an Opel. The least talked about German brand. Yet. I am still waiting for the Golf G.T.I that can take me. Oh, and did I mention she's 24 years old? Your Golf doesn't need to be, though. She eats 2023 G.T.I's for breakfast. In fact. There's still some G.T.I stuck in her teeth from the last race. And I will admit. Had that car a driver that knew what he was doing, he could have murdered me. Sometimes having a fast car is not all it takes.

I was a collision tech for 26 years, have now moved on to a light rail collision center. After watching your video I can confirm that you are one of the most detailed shows that really breaks it down in depth on how it really is to bring these cars back to life. I was a car-liner certified frame tech and I absolutely approve of all your repairs! Congratulations!🎉
Is so hearthwarming seeing your amazing Dad with his Ferrari, he love his car. Mat, you are so blessed to have a Dad like him, i wish i had one like yours ❤️
I've seen the vast majority of your builds and this is by far my favorite. The level of achievement with this one is outstanding. Keep up the good work.
I like when you put your personal touch on your builds. I understand the concept. It's your car, do what ever you want with it, you want to stand out against what comes from the factory. In my opinion, that's what real cars guys do. Car snobs can go kick rocks. Keep rockn to your music. 👍
Matt there’s nothing like seeing the end result when its complete seeing your dad still enjoying what he does temting me to get back to panel beating one thing I enjoyed 😅
Guys, I've watched a few of your videos to include the Mansory Rolls, and I'm enjoying the videos more and more. I especially love the interactions with your dad. I wish you and your team continued success and I also wish you and your dad many more days of fun and happiness.
Honestly man if the car means a lot to you, isn’t crippling you financially and you enjoy it then keep it, the journey you have been on to get the car is truly one of a kind so I’d say keep it 👍👍
It was the full rebuilds that got me to the channel took two weeks catching up on everything thats been posted - now I am hooked and wait impatiently for the posts. I like to leave the full vids on in the background now for when I'm working in my man cave!
Mr. Mat Armstrong you have accomplished to build a great team. Congratulations. You have room for a third channel all the ground work and behind the scenes. Hard work pays off
You do wonderful craftsmanship and it’s great to see you working with your Dad and it’s only one minor criticism and most people don’t bother but from a retired aerospace welder you really need to back your welds with argon to prevent oxidisation of the back of the welds 👍
I have no interest in any modern cars at all but I do have a huge amount of admiration for individuals such as Mat, his dad and the team around him for taking on these challenges. It seems that as he progress onto each and every new project that he and they undertake, their knowledge grows and well as their skill set. Very entertaining video feeds Mat. I look forward to seeing more....
In America we call them interior "door panels" rather then "cards". Awesome job. This is what I call living the dream and putting it on video for all to enjoy and learn.. Thumbs up all the way.

Woot... i love these.... ive seen all the seperate episodes but i really love watching it again in one massive movie i always seem to see something i missed before... thx... from Australia 🇦🇺
As a non-car guy, I love these vids! As an I.T nerd, the software & electronics side is very interesting. I assume the electric parts have some sort of "asset tag/ID" assigned to them? Possibly communicated via a (3-5v?) data-line ? Via can-bus? I assume this "tag/ID" has to match a "master parts list" that the car (ECU?) checks when you try start it / unlock it? If I'm correct, then there should be a database/config/text file somewhere. If this is not encrypted, you should in theory be able to access it, make multiple backups, and edit the live file, or replace it manually. Final result should be parts that are then "coded" to the car and should work. Again, I'm making big assumptions here, I'm not a car guy, just a nerd who sees interest in the digital side, of what is otherwise a physical object.

The results of the rebuild on the rear quarter section were more than impressive. It appears that Jack's involvement was quite key, but Matt, Tony, etal obviously did their parts as well. I would have thought the trunk gap which the team achieved was not possible, at least not without adding material to edges and/or seams. Says something about the consistency of fit BMW parts were stamped to. I would like to know whether you tracked the hours the team spent on the job, not including the videographer's time. Multiple that total number of hours by the typical shop rate in your favorite body shop, and you'll have the true investment of getting this vehicle back on the road. But it would not change the fact that you have shown it is possible if a DIYer is willing to put in the time. Not sure Mat, or Tony qualify as a 'typical DIYer' after the series of cars you have had your fingers into. Thanks for the entertainment throughout.
I absolutely have to give Mats dad a compliment , we love the way he enjoys his time with Mat and gives off good energy and happy
