Skateboarding Inside School - How One Middle School's Skate Club Takes over the Halls

East Middle School in Shelbyville, Kentucky has had a skateboard club for a while now. They usually skate outside in a skate park after school. This year they decided to do something different. Their teacher , Zachary Hypes, approached the school to see if they could skate the halls during the winter. Suprinsingly the school said yes. Now his club gets to skate the halls twice a week during regular school hours, making it one of the only clubs in the country to do so.
