Pressure King Pro - cleaning of the lid and inner lid 3l 5l 6l

- A short video demonstrating how to pull the lid apart to clean it and the potential problem locations for 'yuk'.
I demonstrate on a 6l, the 3l and 5l are very much the same but the main valve looks slightly different (although operates the same)
You will note the inner lid of the 3l and 5l has a slight difference also and is easier to put in the wrong way after cleaning as the middle silicone part isn't the same it simply has a hole thru the silicone not a little hand grip part.
Apologies you cannot see me demonstrate the float valve insertion, the float valve is only pink on the 6l, it is silver on the 3l and 5l. To make sure it is the right way you can see it tapers, the largest part should remain 'up'.

Brilliant. It can hinge (with space) or totally come off. Pain at first but becomes second nature as go along. Enjoy...

Did it work after washing it with water? I've been ages cleaning it almost the way in the video, and last time I washed it under water and let it dry but still hesitant to turn it on!

No could not se which end you put the red valve in
It might shorten cooking times but increases washing up times by about 20 mins then :/

Any tips on how to clean the actual pressure cooker itself? Very fiddly where the liquid drains around the cooker itself...
very poor, starts off good but critical bit the camera misses. will look for another one
The part where you demenstraight the float valve really needs to be done again as you can't see anything you are showing us. hands to far up for the cam to video.

Hi - I have a 6 litre model. The inner pot jams onto the lid.. not sure what is wrong... any help on this most appreciated! Cheers
Was just cleaning mine and it hasn’t got washer to pull gasket out made it very difficult to remove from lid where can I get one?
Hi Pat. Which model do you have. The silicone bit in the centre is only present on the 6l from memory, the 3l and 5l ha e a round washer instead. I think this was a design revision.
Karen Barrow hi Karen I have the 6 litre but don’t have silicone knob you have your finger on at beginning of video but I have an actual knob further down so used that to pull it out?

My inside lid is loose and wobbles about when i turn it over. I noticed when you flipped yours over it seems tight to the actual lid.
Do you think mine maybe faulty or is there a way that you know of please to tighen it up?

I found it easier to prop the phone to film rather than at my table or kitchen side!
How do you remove lid from machine?
Hi. The lid is only removable on the 6l, not the 5l and 3l. I have a video on my channel showing the hinge/lid mechanism. Hope you can find it I cannot seem to link :-)
Now I can wash tne lid.
where do you get replacement parts for this unit?
MunkeyUK call High Street TV customer services, wouldn’t trust 3rd party where pressure is concerned as a fraction out won’t seal properly.

It's not just for rice u can cook loads in it. Stews casseroles rice soup curry the list is endless
We can’t even see half of what you’re “trying” to show us!! So annoying
