Its been a little while but here is another fabulous video walkthrough of the Whole Frozen Chicken (can be done fresh) in the Pressure King Pro 6L Model. This is an adaptable recipe which means it can be cooked in any of the 3L 5L or the 6L PKP Models.

The times I have forgotten to defrost the chicken and had to go out and buy a fresh one!! I end up with quite a few frozen chickens in my freezer. I'm looking forward to giving this a go. Thank you so much Sammiie I think this is your best video yet!!

Thanks so much for this recipe but could please tell me how i can fix the lid vertically like your when open the PKP Another question i have bought a rack to place the chicken on it but iam afraid to scratch the bottom of the inner pot , any advice you can give to me?

This was the fist video I watched when I got my pkp a few months ago and the first thing I cooked was a whole chicken, very impressed, I use my pkp most days now.

As cooking meat from frozen is especially dangerous this actually helps to give me confidence that it does work.
It's only dangerous if its slow cooked from frozen.

Great video Sammi, when I do my chicken in the 6ltr I wack all my chickens on for 30 mins if fresh and 60 for frozen and they always come out perfect.

Great Video thanks, the last button on the right under the steam button should be the 'Browning' button, Couldnt you use this button instead of the Air Fryer to crisp up the skin? I'm thinking about getting one of these but I was hoping that it could brown the meat itself.

How do you make smaller portions. We tend to have so much waste as there are only two of us. We use the 6ltr model

I'm thinking of buying one of these, but don't know what size to go for. Can't find any videos that show more than one size :-( You mentioned you have two, so would love to see them together to compare. How big a whole chicken can you get in small one?
Hi Sammie, I bought a 6 ltr PKP after being inspired by your videos. However, I can't work out how to get the lid to attach. HMMM! Would you have a video that would show how this is done? Please help.
Can you use a 'PKP' just for boiling potatoes, Sammie?
How do you get the giblets out of a frozen chicken? It is usually in a bag.

@ Ros Linney , she said a 3ltr & a 5ltr are also suitable. You just have to get a much smaller chicken.

Can I cook a whole chicken without putting any water in it ?
No. Never cook in a pressure cooker with no liquid if under pressure. Make it into a stock instead x
