This is an instructional video on how to take apart the 6L Lid to perform a deep clean.
In this video - we also demonstrate on how to clean and remove any smells and stains.
Today we used washing up liquid and hot water for the cleaning of the lid. We also used fresh squeezed lemon juice and boiling water to remove the smells from the Curry we cooked yesterday.

Great instructional video Sammiie I now know how to get things apart without breaking them :>) One point to note its easy to loose small parts down the plughole when washing things under a running tap so put the plug in before anybody washes small parts I have learnt this the hard way :>)

Thank you sooooo much for this. I was given my cooker and that little metal pin was not intact and I have never been able to workout where it went. Messages to Pressure King were ignored (so much for customer service). And then the little rubber seal came off and I had no idea where it came from, again pressure King themselves absolutely useless. You are a diamond!

Great video, thank you. My PKP was having some issues around the float valve appearing to be a bit 'sticky' and now I know why! Going downstairs to clean the whole thing.
Also another favourite video. I hate the lingering smells and this works amazingly!

Sammie, I use a small bottle brush to clean in the valve steam valve it works you can get the brush s at most hardware shop

Thank you for the video; it's really helpful. I have the 5L King Pro, and the instructions say to clean it after every use and gives a long detailed description of everything you have shown us. Surely we don't have to clean it that thoroughly after each use?

Fab and useful video Sammie... I learnt a lot about dismantling the lid. As for the seals and pot I've used Milton for removing curry smell. I have an Aldi Ultrasonic cleaner (for jewellery etc.) it cleans all the small bits great (and my spectacles ). These Videos are so useful keep 'em coming. ( P.S. I love the Tatts.. what are the words above the Dolphin on your right arm? )

Sammiie I have just bought the 3ltr 8 in 1 I am really struggling, (not sure if mine is faulty) as it doesn't count down unless I leave the pressure release valve open? How do I search for you on your FB group, cause I got loads of questions thanks Steve
my 5ltr PKR has stopped working for some reason. it lights up then dims but dorsn.t respond to the settings. In effect, it lights up but nothing else. Anyone else haD THIS HAPPEN?
or you can get a set of glass cleaners they arelike pipe cleaner they come in different sizes

You have probably figured it out by now but if not it is because the valve is open and not in the closed position that's the one on top of the lid that you can turn.

Hi Julia, did you find out the answer to this? I'd like to order spare rubber gaskets for my Pressure King Pro but can't find from where to do this. Will probably call the company directly and ask but any ideas would be most helpful, thanks.
wow.... i sold my 3L because of smell that refused to go then got an Aobosi which has very useless instructions.... and hard to release the pressure as you have to hold on to the valve to eject the pressure
