xxnike629xx I'm surprised your not preaching to everyone that Capcom didn't include: Alpha 2 Gold Alpha 3 Upper Alpha 3 Max In the Street Fighter 30th collection. Good for you man.
I have a friend like you, complains about how products are cheaply made but then you watch him with anything and realize he actually is just wildly reckless and violent with everything he owns....
Well, and this may or may not be the case here, but if a product only breaks with reckless, clumsy consumers, it's not a product flaw at all. You can break anything if you're hard headed enough, that doesn't mean it's a design flaw.
yeah the way he was handling that "2000-3000 dollar computer" was making me cringe, complaining about the stand breaking and then dangling the whole thing by a bit of duct tape...
It`s an arcade stick! Have you not played or watched someone play a fighting game with an arcade stick before? You cant be soft with them. That is why quality ones are built extremely durably - to deal with the abuse.
I actually like it louder. That's how I learned how to combo in FGs and play comfortably on an arcade stick. IDK man, the clicky sound feels like a metronome to me. It's especially helpful when I'm trying to learn a combo string.
I won't lie, I have learned the timing of some combos by listening to the rhythm of another person doing the combo. I can understand wanting to kill the sound tho, especially when you compete a lot
Great video as always! Interesting to see that you prefer the Hayabusa stick and buttons compared to Sanwa, but hey they’re great! Maybe you should consider looking into silenced buttons if you stick!
Bought this stick as my first arcade stick about 5 months ago, and i've been blown away by how much it changes the experience of playing fighting + arcade games. Plus, since i have never played on Sanwa parts, i don't feel like i'm missing out by getting this stick instead of a Sanwa one (or modding it). The funny thing is that lately i use it more for PC than for the Switch (got SFV through Humble Bundle about a month ago)
I just discovered your channel !! Your video are funny and entertaining !!! And you are so fluent speaking english !!! I live in japan and most of my teacher cant even speak english !!! You are amazing !!
Wow, they take so long to design that stand, and it still has the same problems as the Cintiq 13HD stand... and now it doesnt even come included and is extremely expensive... Love Wacom, but this is ludicruous...
Hopefully you see this! I have been looking into getting a fight stick for my switch and with the limited options have found two I like. I was wanting to know if you felt the price is truly worth getting the RAP? I was also looking at the Mayflash 500f universal fight stick. Just any help with price vs overall use??? Thank you 😊
It's so true. Once you get accustom to a stick, you never want to go back to anything else because it makes everything so much more fun! I've currently got a Hori rap4 (Hayabusa parts) and a Qanba Dragon (Sanwa parts). Both fantastic in their own way. I love the smooth quick action on the Hayabusa lever. But prefer Sanwa buttons because I love the mechanical keyboard style feedback it gives. I think that feedback helps me build muscle memory faster, and in turn helps me pick up combos quicker than I would on the Hayabusa buttons. I still want a third stick though. I want one that you can easily swap art work on!
I currently favour the Qanba Dragon Arcade Stick outside of my JAMMA cabs, all Sega Naomi type. I like a short stem and little to no play when centred and tight springback. Light touch buttons are good but I like a firm click, even if it means a slightly longer travel time and I regularly change buttons out if they feel "tired" though it's more likely I'm just playing crap and want a change.
I particularly enjoyed the sneaky lil no salt face lol Ive noticed people get annoyed with u but I've watched heaps of vids and I reckon your a genius just quietly, anyway nice vid, PEACE
I have a DIY arcade stick with Brooks PCB. It's a very fun experience on its own but occasionally I ran into problem like shorted wire. Have been thinking to get a Hori Fighting Edge Kai, but shipping cost is quiet pricy. I think having multiple arcade stick means you can lend it to someone else to try the experience, also not giving them option not to play because they don't bring their stick.
I bought the RAP V stick a little while after seeing one of your videos; it's my first stick, but I like it a lot. I've been using it for Tekken 7 and UNIEL on PC as well as BBTAG on Switch. The buttons definitely have a very short actuation point like you said, but I actually kind of prefer it to be that way.
Any recommendations on fight sticks that work both with PS4 and Switch? It would be my first fight stick and I really hope it improves my overall experience with fighting games as a whole. I don’t care about noise volume or size or anything extra. I just want it to be cost efficient and does it’s job well
I'm mad jelly! I recently discovered the hard way that you need a mains powered switch to power a brooks converter, so I'm having to wait until that Hori hubstand comes out to be able to live the dream myself. I'm the meantime, been learning to cope with the joycon analogue. The pain is real.
I don't have a Switch, but if I did I would definitely try one of these arcade sticks. I recently purchased a Pandora's Box 5, and it's freaking awesome. Really entertaining video, nicely done!
Do you think that it will possible to use the new Razer Panthera Evo (born for PS4) on Nintendo Switch with an adapter? Like Mayflash Magic NS adapter.
Started with arcade stick and was just curious about using something different. So I converted my TE2(White/Orange color) into a Hitbox. I literally have to relearn everything. I liked it so much though I ended up getting another one from Jasen's Customs. I do want to say this though, the hitbox sucks for certain fighting games because you need to make sure you hit the diagonal inputs. Example: I was playing 3rd strike Makoto and I couldn't do her kara command grab. Also 360s are a nightmare. Overall its just a different experience.
how are you using this undocked? i have a razer panthera and cannot use it undocked because apparently it doesnt have enough power to use, is the RAP V capable of being used undocked?
I just got the Qanba Drone for Tekken 7 yesterday and been using it for several hours already and I really like it so far,it was only $60. I'm thinking of modding it with LED buttons for late night gaming,it says its for PS3 and PS4 but it also works for PC which is what I use and this is my first arcade stick. I picked it over the Mayflash F300 because the Drone has more arm room.
I use a HORI Mini mainly for Street Fighter V and KOF XIII, though to be fair, where do you get all the HORI RAP for Switch? I can't even find the damn thing on the internet, I so want to play USF2 but not with a d-pad. If you could tell me where can I get it, that would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Watched this back when you released it and it convinced me to buy a switch stand to do just that. However, then I went and bought a better laptop and it's just way better.
Thank you for the review, i purchased my Hori controller today (and the hori stand for my switch lite). I'm going to use it on my pc anyway, but its good to have something compatible with the switch. Can anyone recommend good stiff buttons? I like buttons with bigger actuation force
Since you showed us the size of your house, i wonder if all your furniture is made out of fightsticks piled up. Do you have a storage unit to keep all these sticks? I have problems finding places for my pads, sticks would be a nightmare. --'
NihongoGamer you've become a 100% Japanese by now haven't you? What a dirty hentai mind, put two sticks on their side to serve as legs, one above them, with buttons and stick down (for a less deflowering effect) and maybe one more on the back for support, also with the stick back to your back. And there you go, the non deflowering, non butt hurting arcade stick chair, available on Evo 2019. (Now i really wish i knew how to draw, justo to bring this abomination to life)
My black cover came off too when I unboxed my hori hrap for my ps4! I panicked, not going to lie there. There are few things scarier than breaking something you just paid over 200 bucks for.
I actually found a broken Amazon JP exclusive Hori fightstick from a local goodwill and replaced all its parts (except the joystick), rewired to a brook pcb, and repainted it teal.
Strange for something that is labelled for Nintendo Switch does not come with the USB C male to USB female adaptor? So when I mine arrives I now realize I cant use it right away.
I never thought an arcade stick addiction is a real thing... I don't even have one and I'm still playing fighting games with my controller and keyboard :(

I wouldn’t spend more than you can afford. The general rule with sticks is that investing in a good one helps prevent spending extra money on entry level sticks that you won’t use much after you improve at using the new one

You and your arcade stick addiction...oh and exotic coffees...
xxnike629xx I'm surprised your not preaching to everyone that Capcom didn't include:
Alpha 2 Gold
Alpha 3 Upper
Alpha 3 Max
In the Street Fighter 30th collection. Good for you man.
xxnike629xx exotic butter
I’m not used to living in a world where the controller is bigger than the entire game system lol
Have you heard of Steel Battalion?
Noel Carvajal function over form
Tūkiteao Kerei lol you must have not played in very many arcades
Its for fighting games you fuk
I am, used to have my tankstick hooked up to my MacBook pro in college.
I have a friend like you, complains about how products are cheaply made but then you watch him with anything and realize he actually is just wildly reckless and violent with everything he owns....
Will Bachinski doesnt change the products flaws.
I disagree, he isnt even that rough with his stuff
It`s an arcade stick! Have you not played or watched someone play a fighting game with an arcade stick before? You cant be soft with them. That is why quality ones are built extremely durably - to deal with the abuse.
This is like a fightstick version of a mechanical keyboard
*slap some cash for buttons that compatible with cherry mx switches*
LMFAO
Put holy pandas in it
The stick sounds like it was designed to provoke people XD
You're not wrong...
Marco would they be legal though?
I actually like it louder. That's how I learned how to combo in FGs and play comfortably on an arcade stick. IDK man, the clicky sound feels like a metronome to me. It's especially helpful when I'm trying to learn a combo string.
I feel you, man. It's how I learned how to execute some of the moves reliably in Tekken.
Kevin Elliott ikr? It's like a rhythm game of some sort 🤣
Nintendorkus Streams what stick do you use? I’m just getting into tekken
I won't lie, I have learned the timing of some combos by listening to the rhythm of another person doing the combo. I can understand wanting to kill the sound tho, especially when you compete a lot
Stop it.. Get help... 🙏✨
get what? ...a-a-another stick? yes ok I understand!
you can never have enough sticks.
NihongoGamer buy me one since like getting alot
Michael Jordan Meme Reference
Senpai Team Gaming soooooebody gets it 🙏✨
Bought the same stick as well just so I could use it on the Switch without an adapter :\ My wife doesn't know ._.
Wait you can’t use it without an adapter?
@@usapatriot9123 He probably finds the adapter inconvenient
Great video as always! Interesting to see that you prefer the Hayabusa stick and buttons compared to Sanwa, but hey they’re great! Maybe you should consider looking into silenced buttons if you stick!
Heefnoff I'm pretty sure he modded his other stick with silent buttons (I think it was the Touhou one).
“It’s significantly-“
Significantly what?
SIGNIFICANTLY WHAT
Bought this stick as my first arcade stick about 5 months ago, and i've been blown away by how much it changes the experience of playing fighting + arcade games. I feel your fightstick obsession, my Asian brother...SUBSCRIBED!👍🏽
I just discovered your channel !! Your video are funny and entertaining !!! And you are so fluent speaking english !!! I live in japan and most of my teacher cant even speak english !!! You are amazing !!

Man I just like your videos so much. Greetings from Bogota, Colombia.
Personally I love these sounds. They are the sounds of fighting game glory!
I literally watched the first 5 minutes of the video and subscribed because you’re hella informative.
This video is seriously making me want to get the blazblue crosstag arcade stick on playasia lol
Hopefully you see this! I have been looking into getting a fight stick for my switch and with the limited options have found two I like. This is how people are going to get destroyed when Smash comes out...
Brownish Sage gcc>> fightstick
Cesar S. no just no
Cesar S. that's why fightstucks are banned in smash their to strong
yugi muto No, they’re banned in smash because the smash community can’t except any sort of change in the competitive scene.
Phosforek why would anyone play smash with a fightstick you are a moron

Don't own a switch, but kinda want one. Looks slick.
I just bought a secondhand one even though I dont have a switch lol
I don't have a Switch, but if I did I would definitely try one of these arcade sticks. I recently purchased a Pandora's Box 5, and it's freaking awesome. Really entertaining video, nicely done!
do you have a recommendation for an upgrade on the hori fight stick mini? mine is starting to become unresponsive :(
How tf do u walk in to a story and be like i need an arcade stick over $ 100 😂. Great content, keep up the gud wrk 👌🔥
I really enjoy using my Razer Panthera SFV on PS4 but I would definitely buy one of those for switch. 👍
The stick sounds like a thousand switches, sick. I love it !
Why is this video so entertaining for no reason
You should get sponsored XD you get me excited for fighting sticks even though I’ve never used any!
Do you think that it will possible to use the new Razer Panthera Evo (born for PS4) on Nintendo Switch with an adapter? Like Mayflash Magic NS adapter.
Wow you’re crazy. I subscribed

This should be a running gag for you😂😂
There's nothing like playing tetris with an arcade stick
Before the video started, an ad played and before I skipped the ad it said: "Introducing, the perge."
how are you using this undocked? i have a razer panthera and cannot use it undocked because apparently it doesnt have enough power to use, is the RAP V capable of being used undocked?

would you recommend a hori or razer fightstick?
buys it 3x....... Madman
Dude has an addiction.
So when is the arcade cabinet coming in?
I use a HORI Mini mainly for Street Fighter V and KOF XIII, though to be fair, where do you get all the HORI RAP for Switch? I can't even find the damn thing on the internet, I so want to play USF2 but not with a d-pad. If you could tell me where can I get it, that would be much appreciated. Thank you.
I enjoyed this video *Significantly* more than other arade stick reviews.
I will also have this addiction....as soon as I get BBtag, DBFZ...and a switch
What do you think about "Qanba Drone Joystick"? I cant afford the Mad Catz stick as this will be my first stick
I have the tournament edition 2 stick and I just use the brooks converters to play it on different consoles. I think you have an addiction.
What is the name of your glasses? Please . Im interested on the design
Is that stick considered the dpad buttons or is it for some reason translating the 8way gate into analog input?
Is this easy to mod to make it universal like the other sticks? I really like it and I would like to get the switch version.
You should look into building a PiCade for some retro goodness (and reasons to buy more arcade controller stuff haha)
Do you know if you can plug the RAP4 PS4 ver. into a switch with an adaptator USB C?
Can you play on PC for steam and emulators plug and play or do you need a program like xpadder? Thank you.
The use of significantly has significantly increased
Yo! What's the name of the beat used in these unboxing videos? It's lit!
I would love to see you use this fight stick for Super Smasn Bros. Ultimate, well once it's already out obviously lol
I like the clicky sound on my Qanba dragon, makes the muscle memory happen much faster cause i get audio feedback on every direction i push
Been watching your videos for a while. I caved in to your peer pressure today and ordered one for myself. You've cost me £109! I hope you're happy!
Watched this back when you released it and it convinced me to buy a switch stand to do just that. However, then I went and bought a better laptop and it's just way better.

A chair of arcade sticks sounds...painful! Lol
NihongoGamer you've become a 100% Japanese by now haven't you? What a dirty hentai mind, put two sticks on their side to serve as legs, one above them, with buttons and stick down (for a less deflowering effect) and maybe one more on the back for support, also with the stick back to your back.

(Now i really wish i knew how to draw, justo to bring this abomination to life)
is there any arcade stick that can run on both PS4 and Switch that u recommend ??? and PC if possible?
My black cover came off too when I unboxed my hori hrap for my ps4! I panicked, not going to lie there. There are few things scarier than breaking something you just paid over 200 bucks for.
Ducktape, engineer's gold.
I can be your make adapter to your female adapter
You can plug it into the dock.
Shut tf up
I never thought an arcade stick addiction is a real thing... I don't even have one and I'm still playing fighting games with my controller and keyboard :(
That was paintful !
I like the mechanical sounds of that fight stick.
Where do you put all your fight sticks in your 4’x8’ apartment condo?
Can anyone suggest a good beginner's arcade stick? I'm not exactly looking for something super cheap that'll break down in a couple months of play like the hori mini fightstick, but something that's pretty casual and can still take ware and tear. I've had the Qanba drone suggested to me but i've heard that the buttons and stick are kinda dodgy. I do have my eye on the PS4 Arcade Pro Kai which is £87.53 ($117.25) on amazon which im not totally against paying but i just wanna know if that's a good enough investment or at least a sensible one for a first decent fightstick
I wouldn’t spend more than you can afford. The general rule with sticks is that investing in a good one helps prevent spending extra money on entry level sticks that you won’t use much after you improve at using the new one
NihongoGamer That's the exact answer I was hoping to get, thanks.
My biggest worry was buying a cheap stick, deciding I liked the way it plays, and then having to spend more on upgrading to a decent one. Im a pretty casual/novice fighting game player, having only really played the last two MK games when they were new. But I've had DBFighterz sitting on my shelf mostly untouched since launch because it didn't feel right playing with a dualshock.
Thanks very much for the advice, I'm now looking foward to ordering my first fightstick.
On the hori Nintendo fight stick can you change the lever to a swana?
"I just need to have sticks everywhere" I'm sorry.
I still use an original Horipad PS2 fightstick. feelsconflictedman
I have a qanba obsidian with a fight board I use on the switch. I like it so much I just bought the qanba dragon. I get your addiction.
Best advertisement ever
I want to get a universal fight stick controller, then modify a spare mechanical keyboard so I can use it as a fightstick (remove all keys, except for the WASD, and keys for all other inputs needed, wire up the remaining keys, and somehow create a flat surface where the removed keys once were. Maybe add some weight to the bottom).
Is this possible?...
i have the razer atrox for xb1 and my homemade stick for pc...i combined hitbox and fightstick on the same controller.. its freakin awsome i wired two extra buttons to 3 buttons each so i can push three punches or three kick at the same time in SF5 with juste one button i have led light under .. im proud of it
ASMR arcade edition when? 😁lol. But question, ever use the sticks besides for fighting games, like arcade games or shoot em ups?
>an 8 button fightstick
>for a 2 button fighter
3 of em yeah I can see it....I want one more because when someone else wants to play they use joy cons and it’s just more fun with my arcade stick...super super fun even when I don’t win but to be the best you have to beat the best 👍
How did you even get the space to store them? I find my hobbies abit out of hand.
LOL you're hilarious!
Yeah the new charging stand is out on Tuesday I think
Got same addiction of different RAP Editions. Then Tekken 7 version, now SoulCalibur
Building your own stick...FTW
Another great video
I use a Mayflashf300 universal fightstick. I’ve modded it with Sanwa buttons and stick.
Dude I want some of your old arcade sticks to use
Dude you are the only one who buy the same stick three times.
4:36 i use a bit the fingerprint side of my fingertips when i press down on buttons and not the headside, but then again i do alternate by the tipside and the fingerprint side, it just helps and doesnt hurt much
" And now I just need to hook-up this cable, which is going to go down here on the Switch, so let's just do that.. ". Why am I still waiting for, " but first, coffee ! " 😮😐😑😶😥.
There needs to be a comeback of game devolopers that make video games for arcade sticks. Fighters and beat em ups etc
I have Razer Panthera. How do you use Tekken 7 in Nintendo Switch?
