    The turbo function is for games that want you to mash for shooting. You activate turbo for the shoot button, and then you don't have to mash anymore.

    •  4 года назад

      Yeah. Man I've got RSI from bullet hell shooters that don't allow constant fire. Turbo is a good feature for me.

    • @jacebeleren1703
      @jacebeleren1703 4 года назад

      On the ACA Neogeo games that are on the Switch eShop, there is actually an option to enable turbo on a software level for a button no matter what controller you re using, and i've been using it toggled on in AERO Fighters, works like a charm.

      Hey, did you notice a Big difference after modding it with Sanwa parts?

    • @furisandayo
      @furisandayo 4 года назад +5

      @@olivermirez6667 At first, there wasn't a big noticeable difference with the buttons. This was my first fightstick after all so I didn't really know what 'quality' buttons felt like. After sometime though it would click two times instead of one, and in pro play that would that would probably be real bad.
      Changing the stick however was a big relief for me. The Qanba stick kept giving me misinputs like going diagonal instead of left or right, and it pissed me off quite a lot. Sanwa is just a lot more responsive and is just an overall better stick.
      All in all if you're thinking of getting this or the normal Qanba Drone Stick, get ready to spend some money on Sanwa parts. Modding isn't that bad, it was pretty fun for me actually. It also gave me more of an attachment to my stick because I got to choose the colors for the buttons and stick. I love my stick more now after modding it honestly. I hope this helped you somehow. :D

    Clickyness is a good way for you to confirm that you've pressed a button. Imagine if you couldn't hear the button at all you'd be worse at the game. Try one of the Logitech silent mice and you'll not be very happy about it unless you're looking for that clicking in silence type of work.

    Just a clarification about the PC side. Steam offers a a mode called "Steam Big Picture Mode" which can pick up a wide variety of controllers with some built in drivers. It supports PS4, Xbox, Switch and 'Generic' on top of Steam controllers. This can be found in Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings.
    Note that if steam detects a controller it will boot the game in Steam Big Picture mode. To know if its active, you will see a blue Big Picture mode UI pop up instead of the default Steam one. The downside is that some games dont run well with Big Picture and you cant disable it on a per game basis, meaning you have to constantly enable and disable support for you controller depending on what game you play.

    That is a good starter stick, id suggest picking it up on amazon or newegg when on sale it goes for 40 dollars it has the bee pattern on it.
    You can upgrade the stick and buttons for an extra 40-50 bucks to sanwa (first wear them off)
    Unless you need or want the official artwork buy that model at 100+. If not just buy your own artwork whilr buying the stick and buttons they go for 7-15 bucks

    Okay yeah, I figured as much after looking at the thumbnail, but it's a Drone, with a paint job. Nothing wrong with that. Picked one up on a special while I was attending KIT for $50 and it's a solid little stick.
    ETA: Also can confirm that it does indeed work on PC, when it's in PS3 mode for some bizarre reason it reads as an Xbox controller , which is nothing but a good thing.

    Yet another of those kinds of controllers, you really like them especially the different versions with different art on the controller.
    Hope that one day sony can make the ps5 work like a hybrid console. They will be using 2020 technology which is more powerful than what is currently present in the ps4. The ps4 also uses laptop kind of internal hardware so there no reason for sony engineers to mess up the ps5. I would prefer attachable accessories for the purposes of backwards compatibility and that they can make games on microsd card like cartridges much like the switch. This is why there are accessories for the backwards compatibility so that you can get and attach an optical drive, a psp drive, a ps vita dual slot accessory with both vita games and memory cards to be usable in there while the console itself will also have a regular microsd card slot.

    • @Ryodakun
      @Ryodakun 6 лет назад

      John-Luke Pickarde Sanwa sticks are also quite loose. And Hayabusa sticks are even worse. Luckily a 2$ spring can fix that easily. I also prefer stiffer levers for the faster return to neutral.

    • @john-lukepickarde7382
      @john-lukepickarde7382 6 лет назад

      Well by loose I also meant that the inputs were sometimes not registering, but maybe it was just my execution. It was definitely loose enough to cause accidental jumps and movements if you try to let the stick go back to neutral from a completely pulled back position. Maybe I should just put my own fightstick together, because I want one with silent buttons and a lever that is not loose. Either that or a silent Hitbox type of stick.

So I have been looking into these fight sticks so would you recommend this one for a budget stick? and if you do is there a difference between the one on the web sites you referred in links to that of Amazon?. Are their better ones in the price range than this? or should I get this and mod it once parts wear out?. After about 2 years with this stick, the artwork around the joystick is starting to fade and wear off which makes me really sad. Hoping to get a new stick with a plexiglass cover soon-ish.

    Wow I love the thinness of it, and the artwork too. I'd totally go for this one over the Hori mini.
    And this is unrelated but, what mic do you use for your videos? Any recommendations for a noob RUclipsr?

    You've gotta try Korean levers man. Get an etokki Omni. I'd love to know how you like it. It actually feels different. Was worth every penny to me.

    Completely unrelated to the video, but I wanted to know your opinion on what sort of drawing tablet/display I should get for a beginner/intermediate in digital art? I'm looking for something that I can use at a cafe or other place and not require a PC to plug into.

    Enjoyed the review! So, how would you say it works after a few months?
