    Very Helpful. Thanks.
    Your car's movements are very smooth for having driven at Oulton Park and the cockpit being static. For me, the picture is very restless on a wavy track with a static cockpit. Do you have any tips for this?
    Thanks

      I first had my camera mounted onto my seat, vibrations would travel through the chassis and eventually shake the camera. I now have the camera mounted from the ceiling, although I’m in an attic so it’s quite low.

    Thanks for the great video!! May I ask one question please, and I will try my best to explain lol
    When you mentioned about matching irl hands and wheel to the ingame hands and wheel, should I try to match their size when i m looking at ny natural head position or should i lower my eye level to the wheel and try to match it?
    But then even so when the size is matched, the fov is technically only for where the ingame wheel is not the irl wheel, i.e. my irl wheel is in front of the monitor so does that mean i actually have to adjust the fov until the ingame wheel and hand disappear and "imaginary" match where my irl wheel is? (On the z-axis i guess you can call it, or like along the shaft of the wheel into the dash)
    And when should i adjust fov and when should i adjust ingame seat pos?
    Sorry for the long message!! I hope i m making sense hahaha cheers

      I understand. You need to adjust your FOV and match that in the same perspective… and again, this is a staring point. Instead of looking at numbers and calculations, it’s easier to just view the in game steering wheel and hands. But once you’ve done this, you may want to tweak it further….

    Very helpfull tips much appreciate man ❤🤘i want to record some pov videos to upload in youtube for my friends and racing community on discord, is the normal action camera 1080p will do the job or do we really need something expensive like an gopro ?

    • @LovelySimRacing
      @LovelySimRacing  11 месяцев назад +1

      I use the new Facecam Pro. I think what you would be looking for in a POV cam is resolution (so at least 1080p), really good fps (at least 60) and a very wide angle (ideally ~120°).
