- Hello, I'm Constantinos, and this is not a video of me unboxing the SimDash 6.8" DDU! I say that because I do not do unboxing videos. But I guess I did, didn't I? Well, the story is that Jaime from SimDash decided to send me gift for my contribution of the Lovely Dashboard, which is being used by many SimDash customers...

Love the look of this DDU but stuck on whether to get a 5" or 6.8" is the larger screen any better?
It really depends on a few things:
a. Your needs (I stream, I want bigger)
b. Distance to the dash (too close?)
c. Does size matter to you?
I’d only be critical of the 6.8” if it were to obscure a large part of the screen. It does on mine, and it is annoying, but while driving it’s just perfect. In all other instances I’d rather it wasn’t there…
@LovelySimRacing I have my screen away from the wheel/base unit but run the same wheel. I suppose it's getting something of similar size to both units and seeing what it looks like/obscures. The larger screen looks awesome though as can easily glance at it. Really appreciate the super quick reply 👍
@@RacingReftesting with dummy objects may be good solution. Try it out, see what fits... They both are lovely though.

Do you think it's too big :) ? It seems it perfectly covers you in-game display :)
It is very large, BUT, as you say, it perfectly covers the in-car display. In fact, it's how I set my FOV now... Since this DDU is the actual size of the DDU found in many cars, it is the best point f reference to get a proper 1:1 FOV.
@@LovelySimRacing i also have 6.8inch display in my race car, but it looks quite big on simracing rig :)

SimHub does not support Nextion screens, and unfortunately.
Hello, first of all, thank you for this spectacular dash.
I have tried version 1.6.7 and if I run it in windowed mode it won't let me move it to any part of the monitor. any ideas?

Had similar reports from other users. I’m looking into it… until I find the issue, you could join the discord and stay updated. Perhaps you can grab it from the session info part? I’ve just added buttons over certain areas, which seem to be interfering with the dragging.

worst ever sound on youtube you can ever have is a doorbell, or a knock on door sound. God I hate those :/ seems to be a nice dashboard anyway :)

It's a shame he doesn't have a website only Instagram or FB. No other way to get it.
