    Rich,
I wish that the NFL playoffs in OT were like NCAA college OT rules, where the game is not decided by a coin flip but rather by how the teams play in OT. Make each team start at the 40 yard line and give both of them the opportunity to score a FG or TD. If one team does not score at all, then the other team can win the game with a FG.
I think this would be a much better OT format and allow for much more strategy and the viewers would enjoy a much better game!!
    Thank you!

The taunting calls have been such b.s. this year. Raiders linebacker stares at the opposing teams bench from 20 yards away and it is taunting. Brady runs up to an opposing coach and yells f you and nobody does anything. Hill backflips into the end zone it is taunting. Lamar somersaults into the end zone nothing. Too much opinion involved in the taunting calls.

  • @12from121

of course the overtime rules are stupid. If the Bills had won the coin toss they would of won too. My solution 55 yard field goals coin toss to decide who kicks first and you keep going until 1 team hits it and the other team misses. Could be over in 2 kicks or 22 kicks.

    • @dankenkit

Agreed, a squib goes to the 15-20 and doesn’t start the clock til someone touches it. If they tackle him there it’s a second or two, and they have the ball further upfield. The chiefs last play there was still 4 seconds then ran to 3 when they called timeout. So I don’t think it mattered. For all the people saying it would take 4-5 seconds off the clock, that just means the returner returned it 30-40 yards lol

Team Fumbles 4 times and blows 24 point lead…..Almost always Lose
Team does not score TD….Loses 97% of the time.

You're assuming if they get it the game plays out the same way up until the end. Both teams would have made different decisions throughout the rest of the game because time and score dictate decisions. Saying that had they just kicked the extra point early in the game and the rest of the game would have played out the same way as it actually did misunderstands the fact that past events dictate present decisions. The only time one can assume a moment being changed while the rest of the game plays out the same way as it actually happened is if that moment happens at the end of a game

Even with a self destruction bigger than the Falcons, the Rams win. RAMS slaughtered Brady in first half.
