That's a crap comment too. There were plenty of times when Brady won because the defense made a play or did something that allowed him to "comeback" and win. Malcolm Butler and the defense against Atlanta are examples.
@@Arctanis-vt3hl yes, but there are plenty of times Brady did it in big games in big moments. When has Josh done it i big games or big moments? He hasn't. That's the difference.

Why is nobody mentioning that there was 1:30 left on the clock. Allen goes for the touchdown 2 plays in a row. He had Diggs underneath for the first down, he didn’t have to go for the home run. Especially considering that Mahomes beat you in the past with only 17 seconds. He should’ve taken the check down and kept the drive going. This loss is on josh Allen.
3rd and 9 was on him. 2nd and 9 though, Shakir was wide open and Allen got pressured by Chris Jones. You would always take the TD when it was served to you like that when down by 3. If he succeed, it would force Mahomes to have to score TD, and frankly, our 2-minute offense hasn't been great all season. JA has responsibility on this lost, sure. But to say the loss was on him, I disagree.

Idk what was said when they walked in at halftime after that lil scuffle, but the chiefs came out the second half and said that we gon punched them in the mouth. They got bullied and out muscled out on def and off.
It was a good play. He knew how this game was going, & a TD would pretty much seal the deal. He thought he was closer than he was & could break the plane. Even so, it didn’t hurt KC.
I don’t feel like it’s a bad thing to say that all 3 of them are correct. SAS said the bills blew it(which was true) Dan said Allen was amazing(which he was) and the Chiefs defense made plays when it mattered( which they did). I feel like all the them are true😂
Even if Bass made that FG, the Chiefs easily made a drive to consume the rest of the clock and let Butker win it. The Bills needed to bleed that clock all the way to less than 30 seconds and score a TD, leaving the Chiefs no time. That throw to the endzone was a killer. They were marching fine with the shorter gains.
1:47 left, can't leave Mahomes any time on the clock. Allen had chances to convert the 2nd and 9, check down to Diggs would have kept the clock running and convert. Why leave it in the hands of the kicker 44 yards away with the weather as a factor. Not 100% his fault. Instead Allen goes deep twice?
I think the bills actually just exhausted the playbook So many long drives eventually the defense keyed in That does correlate with the adjustments though
Its crazy how in the next segment dan says Lamar has to WIN the Superbowl to get the respect he deserves, but josh should get respect for playing "great" in these playoff losses. Its crazy the double standard.
Its cause Josh is white so I guess he is superior to the black qbs but a black qb has more rings than any qb playing right now never want to give #15 pm his credit never not good enough
He doesn't say that Lamar isn't great, and he does need to win to get respect from the doubters. The narrative isn't just that Chiefs own the Bills, it's also that the Chiefs own the Ravens.

The kicker being blamed is the most simplistic take of this entire game. IT'S FOOTBALL, THE WEATHER PLAYS A HUGE FACTOR. It didn't go right cuz he whiffed it, it was wide because of the wind. That's why you rely on your offense to get as close as possible when you know the elements aren't on your side
I agree we forget that Mother Nature plays a factor ESPECIALLY in Buffalo it’s basically Canada. Josh Allen should’ve been better I personally still believe that field goal still wouldn’t of been enough bc there was still like over min and half left
Problem is it’s home field advantage he should have known the elements All he had to do was turn around and see the flags of the opposite post and see it blow hard right and made necessary adjustments
On the last drive, Josh Allen had a dropped interception. A fumble, missed a wide open crosser, and terrible under throw to the end zone. Thats shouldn’t even been thrown to the end zone based off time & score. Dan is tweaking.
Buffalo recovering that fumble saved Josh Allen from far worse criticism than this. Chiefs should've picked it up easily but the football gods kept giving the Bills multiple chances to get it done. Stephen A and the production team showed all four reasons why they lost
Shannon played with Elway for a decade while people said the same stupid crap about him as Shannon just said about Josh Allen. The only reason they won 2 rings is because they got Neil Smith and Terrell Davis.

The game was a prime example of "You win as a team, you lose as a team". Which is what Josh Allen even said after the game. The guy was exceptional for 98% of the game. He did ALMOST everything he could to succeed. But ultimately, they couldn't get Bass close enough to nail the FG. They lost but it was FAR from an effort for Allen to be ashamed of.
But that’s not the fun take to admit both QB’s did a phenomenal job and at the end one team had to lose. Allen did play phenomenally, made plays when he could, and took what the defense gave him, it just wasn’t enough. Mahomes carved up that Buffalo defense with ease, and that was honestly the difference. Everytime KC had the ball, they’d score incredibly fast because Buffalo and McDermott had no answers. KC forced them to work for everything, hence the TOP difference, and for the most part Buffalo did it. Like you said, they couldn’t finish the job, and then Bass couldn’t make the kick. There are much bigger problems in Buffalo than the imaginary Josh Allen choking narrative, like Sean McDermott’s coaching, Stefon Diggs being invisible on the field, and even the skill positions overall.

Allen wasn't perfect. They were definitely not on 2 completely different levels last night. They both played well and were both a lot of fun to watch.
These are the times I really appreciate Dan. Were Allen's numbers statistically spectacular against an average team? No. Were Josh's numbers good against that KC defense? Absolutely. Best QB performance against KC of the entire year. People forget that QBs play against defenses and those Pro-Defenses have a say in how well you do.
Dan, for the love of god, Allen had TIWCE as many opportunities as Mahomes and the Chiefs did! 30 more snaps, 20 more minutes of time of possession. The Chiefs had a goal-line turnover. What more did Allen and the Bills need in order to win that game? They were even at home this time.
Exactly. Good points. Safety Dan doesn't know greatness because he's been a below average as a QB himself. So he feels he has to defend Josh Allen because he knows he will get criticized after the game.

It’s frustrating because I completely agree with Dan from the perspective that Josh Allen did perform great and that his receivers and kicker missed opportunities but SA and Shannon are also correct in that somehow some way a “Spectacular” QB would just find a way to get it done. He didn’t get it done. Just sad for Allen overall but I have no doubt he’ll get the better of him one day.
Final Drive though Diggs open across the middle. Throws it deep and is still like five yards short of the target, who was doubled. He had chances to check it down and get a first. No one fears Josh Allen having the ball at the end of the game. Let's keep it a buck. He throws INTs in the endzone. He fumbles. He misses wide open WRs. No one is afraid of him, at home or otherwise. Is he good? VERY good. Is he great? Nah. Brady and Mahomes with the ball in a two minute drill needing a TD to win? You better fear them. Allen? Andy Reid was known as a guy who couldn’t win the big one before Patrick Mahomes got there. Patrick Mahomes is the legend Andy Reid is a good coach with a great player.
It's a bit of both. Bills blew opportunities to make plays that could have won the game for them, but the Chiefs also won it too. Our defense made the adjustments needed at halftime to limit the Bills in the second half, and Mahomes took his game to that level needed to get this done. The fake punt fail was nullified with Mecole's fumble in the end zone, so the game really just came down to who made plays and the Chiefs made a few more plays than the Bills. GGs to the Bills though. 👊🏽

Dan actually has some good points in defense of Josh Allen here. Everyone who watched the game yesterday could see Josh had a good game, but once again he was slightly outplayed by Mahomes in the Playoffs. What I find funny about this debate though is that Shannon keeps refering to the fact: "You have to get it done, when it matters the most!" and is critisizing Josh Allen for that one throw he didnt make but when it is about the NBA and LeBron he has a double standard... Suddenly he will talk about the plays and the great game LeBron had up to a certain point and not the fact that he missed some crucial shots and couldn't get it done in the end. Or sometimes like in yesterdays game in certain moments it does not always come down to the Superstars and the outcome is determined by the fact wether or not a role player doesn't show up. Note: Adding to that the NFL is way more punishing than the NBA in terms of playoffs. We have a much smaller sample size and it really is literally a game of inches.
he said josh allen played spectacular. but he didnt. if he played spectacular he wouldve won the game and been clutch in the biggest moments of the game. period
The difference is that Lebron in his 21 years in the NBA he has shown that he can come through in the playoffs and win multiple championships, he earned the right to have the benefits of the doubt because we know he can win rings. Josh Allen hasn't proven that he can do that, so the criticism will be harsher because he is good enough to expect him to pull through proved it on the biggest stage but he keeps falling short at the same exact point. him missing that one throw is more detrimental to him than lebron missing a clutch jumper simply because we've seen lebron come through when its all on the line.
Careful if you say anything bad about Lebron Shannon will have to be hospitalized. Someone might want to mention to him that virtually everyone said the same things about Elway too who Shannon played with most of his career right up until his last 2 seasons when they finally got a good defense and running game.

Two different players and sports, in basketball, it's a best of 7, therefore you have multiple opportunities to get it done. Football it's one game, you can play perfectly all season and have one bad game and your season is over. Also basketball, one person can dominate a whole game or series, in which football you can't. Not arguing with you, I just disagree slightly.
you're talking basketball vs football for this? Football is way more of a team sport. Look at how poorly the Bills defense played. They also had 2nd and 3rd string guys all over the field on defense

Their gameplan yesterday was masterful……. Josh misses Diggs, kicker missed because of conditions. The fake punt was bad. But there were plays to be made
Diggs was a no show and their kicker lost the game. Also... the Bills should have methodically used the run game and short passes on the last possession to milk the clock and control the line of scrimmage instead of calling random plays.

Now people are doubting them for having few weapons on offense. At some point, we have to say it, until the Chiefs fail to make it to the AFC Championship game with Mahomes, we should bet on them making it. Mahomes in his 6 years as a starter has gone to the AFC title game all 6 years. As for the Bills, no one should expect them to have their breakout year until it happens, they just can't get it done in the post season.
@alexdeghost2729 Why not? That title is often given to Tom Brady since no one in any sport is so far ahead of the pack in championship titles. Currently Mahomes is on pace to match Brady in that regard. Now obviously that’s a biggggg reach. Mahomes has 2 wins in 3 appearances while Brady has 7 wins in 10. But that being said, nobody else has ever even been on Brady’s pace.
As a Packer fan, that kicker's response was legitimately what I WANT to hear a kicker say. Not because it's true (it's not solely his fault), but he needs to FEEL like it is so he uses that for motivation to never put his team in that position again. At the professional level there's no room for diffusion of responsibility.
Once I calmed down I think neither should get cut. However, new competition should be brought in. They need to earn their spots. Their spot on the roster shouldn't be a gimme either.

3 points is the definition of close.
You don’t understand those 3 points are very important
I agree we forget that Mother Nature plays a factor ESPECIALLY in Buffalo it’s basically Canada. Josh Allen should’ve been better I personally still believe that field goal still wouldn’t of been enough bc there was still like over min and half left
Problem is it’s home field advantage he should have known the elements
All he had to do was turn around and see the flags of the opposite post and see it blow hard right and made necessary adjustments
that was the case for the first miss, but go back and watch the last miss - the wind was barely a factor
On the last drive, Josh Allen had a dropped interception. A fumble, missed a wide open crosser, and terrible under throw to the end zone. Thats shouldn’t even been thrown to the end zone based off time & score. Dan is tweaking.

It’s hilarious considering the Bills defense laid a egg but apparently it’s all on Josh lmao 😂

Mahomes is literally Brock Purdy with curly hair, taking all the credit shoe doing nothing
When you throw a 60 yard bomb for a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter that literally hits your receiver in the hands, you made the play when it MATTERED. Mahomes wasn't perfect.
Exactly it's like no matter what happen Josh Allen is the best but he's not the best is #15 pm why he still trying to Josh losing is beyond me

It’s frustrating because I completely agree with Dan from the perspective that Josh Allen did perform great and that his receivers and kicker missed opportunities but SA and Shannon are also correct in that somehow some way a “Spectacular” QB would just find a way to get it done.
You can’t be a spectacular QB and be 0-4 against the same team who does the same thing every year.
You most definitely can be a spectacular qb and lose the same team four times. Patrick mahomes is just better

@@madeofglass012 That’s definitely a fair assessment after yesterday’s game and especially in team sports overall, but the truth of the matter is you’ve been beat by the same Quarterback 3 times in a row in the postseason and this was your chance to finally beat him at home and have arguably the biggest game of your career. Just sad for Allen overall but I have no doubt he’ll get the better of him one day.
Final Drive though Diggs open across the middle. Throws it deep and is still like five yards short of the target, who was doubled. He had chances to check it down and get a first. But went for the Home Run. Yes a TD would have been great. But all you need is a FG to tie. With plenty of time and two timeouts.

For that matter you can say the same thing about Belichick. Bill was a good coach with a great player.
