Jan. 12, 2020 - "During the divisional round playoff matchup, Texans’ Bill O’Brien on fourth-and-4 on their own 31-yard-line calls idiotic fake punt against Kansas City Chiefs." Somethings never change.
The result doesn't dictate the efficacy of the decision. KC had 10 on the field. Bills took a analytical gamble and rolled the dice. We got lucky AF the play didn't get blown up for a TD!
But it didn't horrific have consequences. I don't understand how Travis Kelce was left that wide open? Or how Pacheco is just running thru the Bills D like they're tissue? I'm an impartial Rams fan.
@daveclark8337 well I understand why... it's simple we had 8 starters hurt and using a dude off his couch at LB , cbs were all fucked up, so if they made it past the dline, we needed luck because the skill wasn't in the game
@@LOT9T Josh Allen - 26-39 186 Yds 1TD 12 carries 72 yds 6 yds per carry 2 TDs. The best Bills player on the field... lets take the ball out of his hands and gamble.

This is why I love Rich. A Jets fan showing a boatload of empathy to a rival, giving a measured commentary on the game. Don't see that out of certain other commentators more interested in mouthing off.
I'm 100% with Eisen on his take. Better to have loved and lost. I have been a Bills fan since 1990. I was there for the Superbowl losses and then for the 25 years of losing, to now struggling to get back to the Superbowl. I will take losing in the playoffs and Superbowl every year over losing in the regular season for another 25 years. Rough game and 2023 season for the Bills, but they'll be back. Go Bills!!
Yeah agreed - I'm back in the drought mentality when we missed the playoffs altogether for so long and everything was in shambles every single season. We finally have arrived. I choose to enjoy these times we have with this squad because there is genuine love for these guys. They may not be the best - but they're still incredible and it is fun to get excited every year for a new season each time. Allen is a beast. Reminds me of Hasek - a superstar who it feels like is being held back by his team at times for going the full distance.
Bills coaching threw that game hard. The last drive of the game, run the ball like you've been doing all game and kill the clock. So many teams do this, they don't value the clock and they try and score fast while seemingly killing time, it makes no sense because they don't know what they're doing. The fake punt was irrelevant, they got crazy lucky and got the ball back at their 20. The random pass into the endzone was irrelevant, The near turnover was irrelevant. What was relevant was they took all that good luck, all that extra time to burn and they threw it in the trash. Terrible coaching, terrible clock management. The game was too big for them and they'll never do anything with Sean McDermott.
@@MrMgkman13 especially when Josh was averaging 6 yds a run. Unacceptable play calling after two min warning. Should of ran on second and third down and bleed clock to next to nothing and get game winning td. I wanted to see a td and then click showed 13 sec. But then they clamp down on D and they exorcise the demons.
This 100%. Everything bounced their way, but they fucked the strategy and clock management. Can't believe they played the last drive to give the ball back to mahomes. Surprised there's not way more heat on the coach
Wide right, 4 straight super bowl losses, the music city miracle, 13 seconds, and now wide right 2. Of all the cursed franchises in sports, the Bills find the most memorable ways to lose.

Almost my entire family is from Detroit. We were all watching and cheering for the Lions yesterday. I feel an equal and opposite level of sadness for the Bills fans.
Bills remind me of my heart breaking Vikings from losing 4 super bowls and our anxiety filled relationship with Kickers. They both lose these games in similar fashion. I was rooting for the Bills.
Why? Why does the offense get the ball if the ball is fumbled out of bounds anywhere else on the field but the defense gets the ball if it is fumbled out of bounds in the end zone? There is no consistency there. Do they have a different definition of what is pass interference in the end zone than they do for what is pass interference anywhere else? No, they don't. Do they have a different definition for what is holding in the end zone than they do anywhere else on the field? No they don't. Why is there a different definition for what is a turnover in the end zone than there is for what is a turnover anywhere else on the field. If you want to punish the offense for fumbling through the end zone put the ball back on the twenty or twenty five yard line but there is no reason why they should lose possession of the ball out of bounds in the end zone when they do not lose possession of the ball when they fumble out of bounds anywhere else.
Another year, another playoff loss to Mahomes, this time was at home. The Bills fans must have felt empty and hopeless after yesterday's defeat. Buffalo needs to get Allen another WR not named Diggs.
Window probably closed after this year. Team about to have cap space problems and a couple big names leaving. Buffalos biggest mistake was signing Von Miller
@@TDR-0484couldn’t agree more. Worst signing in team history. That alone will cause a total reboot in the entire system. Diggs & Davis will be in diff unis next year. Pick 28 in the draft… wooo can’t wait 😪
It was way different from Leon Lett. Don Beebe sprinted down the field to knock the ball from Lett. Poyer did a great job knocking the ball from Hardman, but he is no Don Beebe.
NOT a fair comparison with Leon Lett. To his great credit, Hardman was simply fighting with every fiber of his being to score by contorting and extending himself in an effort to break the plane of the goal line with the football when he lost it. By stark contrast, to his great discredit and shame, Lett was simply a "hot dog" SHOWBOATING that he was about to score and pile on the points even more (or so he smugly thought ... little did he understand the heart and drive of the early 90s Bills to NEVER QUIT -- even when the game had long been decided and they were being absolutely crushed in the 4th Quarter).
I don't understand the dissent for the touchback rule. It's consistent with the rest of the rules pertaining to the field of play, and it gives consequence to a human mistake.
Exactly - the 100 yards in between the end zones are neutral, but the end zone itself belongs to the defense. When the ball is fumbled out of bounds through the defense’s “home base”, it’s that team’s ball.
If we change this rule I would want something like loss of down and 15 yard penalty from line of scrimmage. Something that is on par to where it is now if we aren't handing it over to the other team@@countof3everybodyOD
@@countof3everybodyOD I hear ya. Should the offense retain possession if they fumble it out of the end zone? Hmm... perhaps on 1st 2nd or 3rd down, offense retains possession, it's loss of down, and a 10 yd penalty is applied. On 4th down, a fumble out of the end zone means defense gets it on the 20 yd line. I like that.
As a Bills fan I congratulate the Chiefs and wish them luck. To me the difference is coaching. Andy Reid is championship caliber and Sean McDermott is playoff caliber at most. The decisions, the ability to change your approach. When two teams are so evenly matched, that's the difference maker. We will never go any further than this with Sean McDermott.
Real recognizes real, from a lifetime Chiefs fan to a lifetime Bills fan I respect and agree with your comment. I hope your team turns it around next season and wins a Super Bowl. Respect!
It really is you have to look at this scheme even with the injuries because it looked like the Chiefs were just finding holes in the scheme all night. There were so many busted coverages and big holes opening up for Pacheco. Whereas on the offense the Bills receivers had a man attached to their hip the whole night.
Just want to thank you for posting your programs on youtube and to speak an "understandable" english for non english natives like me (I'm french). I've been following nfl games for a couple of years now and thanks to you, I can more easily understand this game. FYI I'm a 49ers fan, but to me, Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts are the best QBs in NFL. They have a totally different way of playing, but they are both so impressives ! Thks again Mr Eisen
Everyone talking about the missed kick but Josh Allen had two critical chances right before the kick. He went for the home run rather than taking the checkdown stuff that would've netted him a first down. They had to burn the clock and get the TD. They were slowly moving down the field on pace to do both and Allen wanted to play superman.
Going for the endzone on 2nd & 9 was idiotic on multiple levels. You're going to give Mahomes the ball back with 2 mins left when KC is averaging 9 yards A PLAY! They had to run the clock to zero or score a TD with 30 secs left. Just awful situational thinking.
Run the damn ball. Burn the clock. Make the high % throws vs the homerun passes. Josh is relying on his big arm too much esp late in the game. I rather he ran the ball.
@@relativetimeworx8459 Exactly! Even if it was a TD you're asking your banged up defense to stop a Mahomes game winning drive. Like good luck with that haha

@@wc1994not even remotely close, Kelly had multiple HOF to pass the ball around to. Our “best player” dropped HUGE passes that were PERFECT. Allen is constantly being let down by his teammates
I remember him dropping a 50+ yard bomb from Kelly that was thrown perfectly hit him right in the hands on stride, complete blown coverage - no one near him, much better than the pass Diggs got this past weekend. It was against the Dolphins. It's funny how you have selective memory. Diggs is not a problem. And yes, Reed was a great receiver too. Watched his entire career. No one is perfect.
I'm so heartbroken. I'm so mad. watching the ball sail wide right brought back so much hurt only a bills fan could understand. it's never gonna be better. we've never won a cup or a superbowl. I don't know what that feels like. I only know heartbreak and losing and it sucks.
This game was over in the start of the 4th quarter. When they tried to run the ball and each time the Chiefs tackled them for a loss because their game plan was countered. Diggs was locked down all night and that missed field goal just sealed it for the Bills.
Exactly this. The RBs had -8 yards running in the 4th qtr. The Bills having the short week, and the Chiefs having the long week to prepare /rest, could have had an impact on the line's inability to open a hole, later in the game.
The good news is, the Bills still have Josh Allen. What a player. I’m really tired of seeing this guys’ exploits get wasted. Allen’s level of play week in and week out would put a few different teams into the Super Bowl. Buffalo Bills got some tough questions to answer this off season.
@whoknows9193 Exactly. Could he have made a couple of slightly better decisions at the very end of the game with everything on the line? Yes. Should it have come down to that and all be blamed on him? Absolutely not. It's a team sport, and you'll be damn hard-pressed to find anybody better than Josh Allen at the quarterback position.

You mean The Josh Allen, who several times during the game, watches KC's formation absolutely sell out to stop the run, and The Josh Allen never checks out of the play, hands off for an immediate loss of yards? That The Josh Allen? Or The Josh Allen, who tried for the home run ball on the last drive, but when it didn't work, Bills go into the clock killing, short passing underneath to get inside KC's 30...where Josh had 2 choices. Continue playing tough, throw underneath, kill the clock and get to 2 goal-to-goal attempts into the endzone for a TD for the win, at worst short FG with a few seconds left to go into OT. *OR* The Josh Allen, can no longer contain himself to short passes underneath, throw bombs with over 2 minutes remaining, leaving it up to the Kicker to at best TIE the game, with 1 min 48 seconds on the clock for Mahomes to march down the field and score? Mr. Eisen, you are so comedic with your commentary! You make me laugh even when you are criticizing the players. You are the best, keep up the good work!
I don't get why people hate that rule. You lose possession of the ball if you fumble, you shouldn't just get it back. At best it should somehow be a faceoff in a neutral zone like in hockey.

Bengals fan here. I was rooting for the Bills to get this one. Get over the hump. And it was heartbreaking. i've seen other outlets debate whether this one is on Allen. Obviously there were a lot of factors that contributed to the loss, however, but I think Josh Allen going to get that TD after the 2 minute warning was a little too much hero ball. On that 2nd and 9, if he hit Diggs on the crossing route (he was open), yeah Diggs might not have gotten the first, but it would of been 3rd and short vs 3rd and 9, which opens up the playbook more. It gets a little closer for a Tyler Bass FG attempt if you don't convert the 3rd and short where maybe he doesn't miss the FG. Going for the TD on that play with about 1 minute 40 seconds to go with Patrick Mahomes on the other end? I think situationally, you had plenty of time, you still had 2 timeouts left. Take the easy throw, get into a better down and distance situation and set your other players, like your kicker, up for success in the event you need them to come in to get the tie. That's what a leader does in those moments that can make you the hero. the Big splashy plays are great highlight material, but their high risk, and it wasn't needed at that moment with the time left.
It's similar to what the Colts and Manning went through against the Patriots and Brady years back, until the Colts and Manning finally got over the hump , beat the Pats/Brady and then the Bears in the Super Bowl. 2006 It could be a similar pattern. Bills may finally past them in the soon future and get to the Super Bowl and win. Also Bills should get rid of Diggs. He's a malcontent and butterfingers. Drops balls and can't get open. Get a better WR. The other WRs and TEs on the team are good. Also, add more depth on defense, seems to get banged up injured a lot
As a Chiefs fan the Bills are my favorite team to play. It's a back and forth game, sitting on the edge of your seat, bitting your nails to the quick, needs some heart medicine...so glad we won!!
I’m over 70 now and I have never seen ANY QB that is as much of a total 1000% package of skill, presence, power and determination…BUT… his defense looked like children as Pacheco kept running through them and Diggs dropped a ball that was so clutch and so perfect that Helen Keller could have found the end zone with it. And that dumbass move of going for it on 4th when they saw The Chiefs were a man short??!!! OK they got ( momentarily) a reprieve, but I wouldn’t have called that if The Chiefs were short 3 men. This loss was SO predictable and none of it is on their remarkable quarterback. Josh muffed a few chances with better throw options, but this loss was not on him in my opinion. I felt bad for this incredible fan base who deserves the ultimate prize.
Are you delusional bro? The QB you speak so highly of didn't make the proper reads when he needed to. And he has consistently choked in the biggest moments. Give up on them their cursed
Whoever called those last TWO plays needs to be FIRED! ALLEN threw to the end zone, when he clearly had guys open down the side. ALLEN did NOT lose that game. It was the guy who called those plays.
Yep. And that there have been thousands of teams through the years, but just 57 Super Bowl winners. Easy to forget just how difficult it can be to win one.
What pisses me off is if the NFL had a 7 game series like the NHL, the Bills would’ve won at least 2 of the SuperBowls. Conversely, if the NHL was a 1 and done, the Sabres would’ve won the 1999 Stanley Cup and the 2006 Conference Finals (and likely beat the Oilers for a 2nd Cup). FML

@@mattturner5429 Exactly, the Bills held the ball for 37 minutes, ran 78 plays (23 mins/44 plays for KC), and were losing by 3. The last Bills drive was the winner, they were killing the clock with a 6 minute 23 sec drive getting inside KC 30 yd line, with 2 minutes remaining. Keep doing that, get goal to go, 2 (or 3) shots at the endzone and Bills win. Bills had momentum. Nah, Josh Allen goes bombs away and the game is lost right there. Regardless if Bass makes it, 1 minute 43 seconds remained, and like you said, Chief's O could not be stopped. Mahomes would only need FG range to win. He'd get a TD. All Josh needed to do was keep it short and in the field of play, but Josh can't help but derail himself.
Von retires, we get another WR, Josh & Diggs become bffs again, Josh practices 10-20 yard throws at 3rd down, Poyer & Hyde stay for one more, trade Gabe / Tre White, Matt Milano is healthy, Bass gets his confidence back, Damar works on fake punt runs, McD works on when to punt / fake punt, Joe Brady doesn’t do any HC interviews for at least 1-2 more years
Allen almost fumbled the game away well before the final sequence of plays. The Chiefs absolutely should have recovered that but tried to run it back instead.
Loved Rich’s comment about a “seance” Also he’s spot on about Chiefs absurd play call with Hardman jet sweep! I like Hardman, but “come on man” when you got Mahomes, Kelce and then Pacheco running like he’s Marshawn Lynch in what at the time is your most important play of your season????
Diggs, Davis, White, Von, our old safeties (still good just too old for another year) all need to go. Need to draft some more CB's LBs Safeties and WRs and maybe pick up some in FA
If THAT is what you need to compete for Superbowls, then the Bills will also possibly need a new QB, because that is quite a laundry list. If that's the case, might as well just trade Allen and Diggs for draft picks
@@brutusvonmanhammer Spoken like the Chiefs don't have Chris Jones, Sneed, Bolton, Mcduffy and Kelce. Mahomes went into a defence missing 4 of its best players and only won by 3. People are quick to forget Travis Kelce is also on the Mount Rushmore of Tight ends all time.
You dont know what happens in the final 2 minutes? Ty Dunne wrote 30k words about it and a bunch of fans acted like it was sour grapes. Well all of it came true last night. McDermott had a long run. Time for him to go.
But it's not McDermott. McDermott isn't Josh Allen. McDermott isn't Tyler Bass. McDermott isn't Joe Brady not adjusting for an entire quarter. I mean, say what you want about the fake punt decision, but McDermott and the defense game the team a chance to win. But he can't do it all.
@@JKSSubstandard the defense gave almost 9 yards per clip last night. Travis Kelce uncovered more than once. I mean, in the regular season, Josh Allen is the best QB in the NFL in the final 4 minutes of the game. And it's not even remotely close. For whatever reason, last night, he fell apart
Rich i said the exact same thing last night on many podcast ..... 9min left they march on the field from their 20yard line to KC 29yard ... 2min warning and suddenly they throw 3 stupid pass ,,, WHY not the 3 yard pass and run a few play and at best!!!!! a kick from under 30yard and OT ..... that coaching staff need to be all fired!!!! simple as that
I'm sure if Allen disagreed he could have checked into another play, it's not just the coaches faults. Game is on the line, they aren't firing Allen because he checks into a different play
The bills need to be given an ultimatum either win the Super Bowl in three years or get out of the NFL. The fans are tired of it especially after four consecutive Super Bowl loss in the 90s.
Want to beat the Chiefs? You gotta to hold them to less than 21 points. You don't beat the Chiefs, in the playoffs, with your kicker. Bills scored 0 zero in the 4th quarter. Champions score in the 4th quarter. Chiefs have defense.
Not even close 😂 has Dak ever even won a playoff game? Genuinely asking because I always see him getting bounced in the wildcard, give Allen CeeDee & see what happens, bet he don’t drop that 60 yard perfecttttttt pass
Rich you have said enough. You went with your gut and your opinion on the team. I was telling everyone I saw Chiefs winning cause machines wanted to prove he can win on road. Amazing game
Once again, Mahomes willed his team to win and Josh Allen didn’t. If Josh is going to be considered an elite quarterback he needs to WIN something, no more excuses, just STOP IT🙄
Look, I'm from KC and a Chief die hard fan. I can tell you Josh Allen and the Bills terrify me every time we meet them in the playoffs. Your QB is a class act and you guys will get your title one day! Heads up and much respect from a fan of the best rivalry in football. Go Chiefs!!!
If you lose a game you had a great chance to tie or win it's not the players, it's the coaching. Josh trying to get a touchdown immediately instead of doing what the situation dictated. Namely taking the underneath passes. Either Josh wasn't aware of the situation or was and did it his way regardless. Both possibilities are the fault of the coaches.
@@Bc7833-x9n You're right in the sense he's the one that decided to go for the lower percentage throws instead of the check downs and underneath stuff. However, it's the coaches job to make sure he doesn't make that mistake. You know, the same coach that called the fake punt?
Also what is funny, is that Sean McDermott made the same mistake he made last time. Choosing to kick a FG on a 4th and 9 vs the Chiefs rather then just put it in Josh's hands because Rich is right, they couldn't stop the offense all night. Just put the ball in your QBs hands. Biggest mistake was messing around with Ken Dorsey as a 1st time OC for 1.5 years. Literally a waste of time. We need to use our 1st round pick on a WR in 2024, 2nd round pick on a Center, and the rest on defense. McDermott and Beane should understand their strengths which is they are excellent at finding CBs in the late rounds but terrible at drafting top talent defensive players. Only one they ever hit on was Tre White and Tremaine. Lets get josh more protection to have his career last longer and instead of spending money on davis, get Derrick henry. If i was Josh, I would restructure and charge less to get more talented players. Diggs needs a top WR next to him and we still have shakir and kincaid. Honestly, we should not even have made the playoffs. But with James cook, Shakir, Kincaid, Diggs, WR in 1st round, Derrick henry, and a talented rookie center the offense will be better next year. I would tell Kaiir to beef up and put him at safety. Leave benford with douglas and draft 2 more CBs and a DT. Maybe just resign poyer? I would just rather beef up the offense and have derrick henry instead of continue to draft defensive players in the early rounds.
What? There were less points in that game than the Lions vs Bucs game. The Bills had like 4 yards per play. This wasn't an offensive slugfest really, just an average game.
It’s a great rule. There has to be some potential punishment to the offense other than just a potential turnover in the end zone. I love the rule it needs to stay.
Even rich eisen doesn't understand football. Sad, the whole point of the game is to protect the end zone, you want to lose the ball into the end zone and what happens? Nothing? Thats literally the fabric of the game. Learn football.
I know what to say as a Bills fan since 1960’s. The long list of starters injured on defense did us in. Josh is only reason we won East. It’s tougher on fans like me wondering if I’ll live to see them win it all? The players have their millions to go off and spend
The bills are the 2nd biggest chokers in the league behind the chargers. Happened on all levels not only the missed kick. Allen fumble, diggs drops, fake punt.
Throwing bombs with 2 minutes still on the clock was insanely dumb too. Could have ran or thrown screens or something to eat clock and either play for OT or score a TD with little time remaining. Instead, they would have given Mahomes like 1:40 with 2 timeouts still if they tied it, almost definitely a loss in that situation too.
Injuries unfortunately are a part of the game. Injuries decimated the Miami Dolphins this year with such a promising season, The Jets, Cincy, San Diego, and Vikings a lot of teams had good teams until the injuries set in, and then it's just a different story from there on how it will play out. Ever since artificial turf injuries are very prevalent. The NFL needs to tell the owners to get back to sod turf to help minimize these injuries.
Same culture as the Marv Levy days. The coach must teach his troops courage. Players must put their foot to the opponents throat. Ease up when the clock reads zero. If it's working, why try to fix it. The running game was working , the short underneath stuff was working. Brilliant coaching during the season turns to high school coaching for the playoffs. WTF is going on?
People forget that Kansas City played one heck of a football game. The commentators for CBS said it was the best game they played all season. That Kansas City team that showed up Sunday could have gone 16 - 0 for the season. So the Bills were not only playing the defending Super Bowl champions, they were also playing the defending Super Bowl champions at their very best. It is a testament to Josh Allen that he very nearly beat them with a football team that was not quite equal on Sunday.
I’m a Chiefs fan, and I usually feel bad for him too. Until that is, I watch any video of him opening his mouth. It’s easy to see he’s a sulking man child. Mahomes had a couple man child moments this year but that is a rare situation. Allen is a drama queen almost every game and every interview. He needs to humble himself, until then and only then, this is the Bills forever fate.
Josh Allen record in 1 score games, including postseason: 27-27 Patrick Mahomes record in 1 score games, including postseason: 42-24 Brady in 1 score games in his final 7 seasons: 31-16 Josh Allen defenses since 2020 by DVOA: 11th, 1st, 2nd, 12th (average 6th best defense) Nothing else needs to be said here.
There's a saying that you can't always have it both ways. Well you can't have it 32 ways either and at the end of the season 31 teams aren't happy. Bills mafia is resilient and we'll be back even stronger next year.
The call wasn’t “gifted”. It was split second flag that probably could have been overturned IF it was reviewable. Given how bad officials were all season, let’s not act like this one call made a difference. KC punted immediately after that.
The pass interference call was correct, the receiver was already behind that defender down the field. Defenders can't just turn around and chuck receivers off of their route as they run behind them, and he definitely notices the receiver and purposely puts his shoulder into him on the way by. It gets called on the offense if they set a pick in the same manner.
This is on Josh trying to play hero ball vs Playing within the offense and giving the ball to Diggs underneath. They had plenty of time and didn't need a quick score.
After he dropped that 60 yard perfect pass he didn’t deserve to get the ball… the TD was there if Josh didn’t get bumped while throwing. The whole team failed Josh
The play to Mecole was okay, he just didn't protect the ball. Head down, dive low. If they stop you, it's 2nd down and Pacheco plows in. Ten point game, burns at least another minute.
As a Bills fan, I come to the conclusion that we have officially become this decades Phillip Rivers LT led Chargers. Good enough to win it all but crap out in postseasons
Thats just ridiculous. Don’t buy into that slander. Rivers could never get out of the first round bro. Josh has already been tot eh afc championship & leads the league in touchdowns.
I think Diggs is a major liability. Passion is one thing but the dude has a tough time staying levelheaded anytime things don't go his way. We saw it in the offseason this year, and even during the season when his brother was tweeting about him needing to get out of Buffalo. It feels like Josh has to force the ball to him to keep him placated, and even then he underperforms for a WR1. There's no single issue to point to, the Bills lost this one as a team from the play-calling, weird decision making such as the fake punt, missed fg, and dropped passes. But even when all cylinders are firing, I feel the Bills won't be able to get across this threshold as long as Diggs is their WR1.

The last drive was going perfectly, killed like 4 minutes, and then everything after 2:00 was a disaster.

Scott Norwood (wide right) and Leon Lett (fumble and touchback) in the same game last night 😵
😅 I’m surprised you notice it
It was way different from Leon Lett.
@@shane_wallaceI agree but maybe it could be a ten yard penalty or something

@@countof3everybodyOD I hear ya. Should the offense retain possession if they fumble it out of the end zone? On 4th down, a fumble out of the end zone means defense gets it on the 20 yd line. I like that.
As a Bills fan I congratulate the Chiefs and wish them luck. To me the difference is coaching. Andy Reid is championship caliber and Sean McDermott is playoff caliber at most.
So you think Allen was responsible for losing to the chiefs by 3 Pts … did you actually watch the game?
Run the damn ball. Burn the clock. Make the high % throws vs the homerun passes. Josh is relying on his big arm too much esp late in the game. I rather he ran the ball.

It could be a similar pattern. Bills may finally past them in the soon future and get to the Super Bowl and win. Also Bills should get rid of Diggs. He's a malcontent and butterfingers.
Biggest loser in this game was Tony Romo. Insufferable broadcaster
Want to beat the Chiefs? You gotta to hold them to less than 21 points.
You don't beat the Chiefs, in the playoffs, with your kicker.
Bills scored 0 zero in the 4th quarter. Champions score in the 4th quarter.
Chiefs have defense.
Bills are turning into the Cowboys of the AFC. Obviously this stage is too big for Allen like it is for Dakota Prescott.
Not even close 😂 has Dak ever even won a playoff game? Genuinely asking because I always see him getting bounced in the wildcard, give Allen CeeDee & see what happens, bet he don’t drop that 60 yard perfecttttttt pass
At least Cowboys got 5 Super Bowls!
Rich you have said enough. You went with your gut and your opinion on the team. I was telling everyone I saw Chiefs winning cause machines wanted to prove he can win on road. Amazing game
Once again, Mahomes willed his team to win and Josh Allen didn’t. If Josh is going to be considered an elite quarterback he needs to WIN something, no more excuses, just STOP IT🙄
Did you see Allen's stats?
He was trying to show his daddy Mahomes that hes all grown up
It was the quarterbacks fault. Allen sucks when he's needed most. He'll never win anything. Too dumb
On the plus side, Buffalo may finally get their very own Secret Base video detailing their unusual failings over the years.
That’s a great RUclips series
I'm over Diggs. Can't believe we have so much money tied up in him and Miller...what a waste
How is it when the Chiefs and Bills play each other, each defense basically concedes and goes " okay we will allow you to score on us easily"
Because both QBs of those teams are that good.
Because the Bills had 3rd and 4th stringers at LB and CB.
What? There were less points in that game than the Lions vs Bucs game. The Bills had like 4 yards per play. This wasn't an offensive slugfest really, just an average game.
Did you only watch one half? Bills only had 7 pts the entire second half. Same thing chiefs have done all year.
@@pistolpete7422shhhh, the haters don’t want to listen to that. It’s all on Allen, didn’t you know?
It’s a great rule. There has to be some potential punishment to the offense other than just a potential turnover in the end zone. I love the rule it needs to stay.
Josh Allen is a class act. You gotta hand it to him for that.
Even rich eisen doesn't understand football. Sad, the whole point of the game is to protect the end zone, you want to lose the ball into the end zone and what happens? Nothing? Thats literally the fabric of the game. Learn football.
Even as a KC fan, I cringed at that missed FG. I ABSOLUTELY HATE when a team loses because of a missed FG. My heart goes out to all of you Bills fans.
Mine don't...
Me too, I remember the three missed FGs by Elliot--can still barely type his name.
As a Bills fan I just want to say…I love this man, Josh Allen, so fucking much
What's wrong with you? He sucks and will never win anything
We ride with Josh til the end, don’t listen to the couch bums who just want someone to hate. He will get us there, with the RIGHT people around him
Same culture as the Marv Levy days.
Even Buf make the FG still a lot of time for Mahomes 1:36 left to drive down the field to kick the FG win the game.
Buffalo not content with 7 yards a carry....then throwing bomb after bomb in a 40 MPH wind...
A bomb that landed perfectly in the bread basket that got dropped?? Oh… yea that was suchhhh a bad throw, give me a fking break
At this point I feel bad for Josh Allen and Bills Mafia
I don’t
I’m a Chiefs fan, and I usually feel bad for him too. Until that is, I watch any video of him opening his mouth. It’s easy to see he’s a sulking man child. Mahomes had a couple man child moments this year but that is a rare situation. Allen is a drama queen almost every game and every interview. He needs to humble himself, until then and only then, this is the Bills forever fate.
Thank you
Bills turned off the hot water in the Chiefs locker room after their fans threw snowballs at the Chiefs... Stay Classy Bills Mafia
And mahomes to Buffalo Bill fans will always be MAFrog 🐸🐸🐸
Josh Allen record in 1 score games, including postseason: 27-27
Patrick Mahomes record in 1 score games, including postseason: 42-24
Brady in 1 score games in his final 7 seasons: 31-16
Josh Allen defenses since 2020 by DVOA: 11th, 1st, 2nd, 12th (average 6th best defense)
Nothing else needs to be said here.
"The Chiefs should be punished for giving the ball to Mecole Hardman." -- *Every* Chiefs fan felt the same way.
Diggs probably would have dropped it anyway 😔
The play to Mecole was okay, he just didn't protect the ball. Head down, dive low. If they stop you, it's 2nd down and Pacheco plows in. Ten point game, burns at least another minute.
As a Bills fan, I come to the conclusion that we have officially become this decades Phillip Rivers LT led Chargers. Good enough to win it all but crap out in postseasons
Thats just ridiculous. Don’t buy into that slander. Rivers could never get out of the first round bro. Josh has already been tot eh afc championship & leads the league in touchdowns.
@BuffaloMotivated if you go look at the period between 2006 -2009 it's the same as the Bills high expectations zero results.
McDermott can’t stop anyone playoff when his roster is healthy. So why is he still here?
I'm a chiefs fan and I love Reid but he is loyal to a fault at times, having mecole hardman (who is not a smart player) with the ball on that play was DUMB.....
You were right The Chiefs are a better team. The Bills had an up and down season. They were not supposed to make it to the playoffs .Any Given Sunday. Bills are still an incredible team and be there next year. Called competition. Don't feel sorry for them. There some idiot fans throwing snowballs at Maholmes after the game. Go Chiefs.
Every fan base has a few drunk idiots
Josh Allen is not that guy, and Rich and the media just can't accept it. Allen is closer to Dak Prescott than he is to Patrick Mahomes.
McDermott needs to go, what a waste of talent and time.
I know Allen isn’t this type of guy but he needs to go into Terry’s office and demand a new coach and if they say no then demand a trade, it’s the only way anything will ever change
Ahhh love me some Josh Allen missing some easy plays and decisions to not just score with the offense and keep it off the kickers leg.
You have no clue
I feel more like the Bills panicked once they started to get closer to the end zone, and passing that much and that aggressively when you've got that much time left on the clock against Mahomes and the Chiefs looking nothing like they were looking during the regular season? Bad choices there.
