Appreciate your support! I’m 195 pounds and 6ft 1in. For me the rebel V4’s were comfy enough for half marathon and under. This could be a good option for a heavier runner but I would also point in the direction of the More V5 and Ghost Max as other alternatives with more stack height/cushion.
Hi I found your channel recently and have been enjoying the content you’ve been making. Would you recommend these shoes to pair with the 1080v13? I love the 1080v13 but I am interested in getting another shoe to pair with it for more speed oriented runs while still being able to do the task of daily runs. What do you think?
Thanks for the support! These would be a great option to pair with the 1080v13s although i would recommend trying them on first as the fit is unique. If you don’t end up liking the fit of the Rebel v4s, I would recommend you look into the Hoka Mach 6 or Adidas Adizero SL2 as I think they would pair well as a speedier daily. Both of those shoes are narrower than the Rebel. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the detailed description of the fit. My feet are kind of the opposite in that my toe joint needs extra vertical space. I had to cut out a big hole in the insole of my Boston 12 to give my ball joint some extra vertical space. Otherwise the rough stitches on the tongue rubs my skin. Seems I won't have that problem with this shoe. Some shoes have the lacing system angled outwards to avoid irritating the ball joint but they're usually more expensive (Vaporfly, Cielo, Rocket x2). If I need a tighter vertical clearance I can always use thicker socks or a thicker insole. Nice informative review!
My left foot is 26.6 cm to the longest toe(2nd toe) and right is 27 cm with average foot width 10.5 cm I wear Nike and brooks usually in size US 10 with a thumb or slightly more space at front. Brooks glycerin 21 size US 10 Wide 2E almost fits good but slightly narrow in the midfoot now I have ordered online new balance rebel v4 and 1080v13 in size US 10 and width 2E both. Will they fit for me or not just wanted to ask because as according to chart my size exactly is US9 but in running shoes I heard to size half or full size up. Kindly guide

For it does not feel bouncy or responsive. You very much feel the ground. I like the Mach 6 more
