I cant believe this young good looking, educated, intelligent father who had alot going for him lost his life all because of one egotistical, entitled narcissistic spoiled woman that couldnt handle that the divorce wasnt going her way. The fact that she gets to live life wealthy, healthy and free is very disturbing.

She faked crying during police interrogation. Common sense tells us that she can’t be that sad about his death.
They met on Jdate....Dan should have expanded his search parameters to include Hindus, Methodists, Catholics, Buddhists and all the rest. It's never a great idea to let your parents order you to marry in your own sect, class, religion, ethic group and all that.

This is such a heartbreaking story. I read a book about it. The saddest part is their children losing their father and knowing why and who was responsible.

I watched the episode last night and there
are so many more things about Wendi that were not shown. Donna should be arrested as soon as possible, a lot of evidence against her was exposed during the trial. I wish Dan would have seen the first red flag at the wedding. I hope you guys will do a follow up episode because there are a lot more facts that need to be shown. This is a very dangerous family IMO.

I want to shed some light on this since I havent seen anyone comment about it and it was brought up alot at the trial. Years ago I had this friend who had an older brother whom ran with gangs, did prison time and dealt drugs. Well he got connected with some big time drug delaers and began smuggling drugs from Mexico into the US. They would put the drugs inside the vehicles tires. When he would come back he would show us the money he would payed with. It was 10k each time and each thousand was 10 one hundred dollar bills stapled on the left corner. Same as described here on this case. I had never seen that done before but it was the first thing that popped into my mind when it was mentioned at the trial. Its crazy to me because a drug smugglers life compared to a periodontist are two different worlds apart. I wonder where did or what gave Charlie that idea..
Anyway just wanted to share my experience with this stapled money.

Wow! Never heard of brother Robert before. My family is very inclusive, so it’s difficult for me to understand estrangement (although my mother’s family was a bit exclusive, so maybe I can understand somewhat), but I imagine Robert might be thankful to be estranged after the murder of his BIL.

well, that's not the whole story with Robert. He broke up with the girl he loved, married someone they approved of and was Jewish and then divorced after a while AND THEN married the women he really first loved.

The wedding food "trick" was a power move to show Dan and whole family and friends, that the Adelsons were in charge.
What a spiteful thing to do.
I don't for one second believe it was any sort of mix-up as the venue were well experienced in providing kosher food for weddings.
Donna wanted to show Dan who was the boss then and there.
With the clear implication to Dan being don't you dare upset my daughter on her wedding day by causing a fuss about the food.
What sort of person pulls a nasty stunt like that ?
If Donna was an animal she would be going around marking her territory with the scent of you know what.
If only Dan had could have figured out back then how this family were out to destroy him and steal away his future children.
Was there anyone he would have listened to if they sensed that danger lay ahead and convinced him to experience a much longer courtship with Wendi, just maybe his eyes might have opened to see how Wendi and her clan operated so he could get out of crazy town super quick.

I'm so sorry for the Markels and hope they get to see justice served on all the guilty parties, but most of all they get to have the relationship they want so badly with their grandsons.
Nothing is not always what they seem. A lot of secrets. Yes in these religious families you’re controlled (narcissistic) a lot. If you don’t follow the rules even as an adult you’re shunned from the family n church as well. There is trouble brewing in this household. It’s just a matter of time b4 things begin to blow up. Someone is getting unhinged in a future situation.
Don't use religion as an "out" to blame people who choose to make the decisions they do, otherwise why blame them at all if you've chalked them up as being brainwashed. You're not helping your cause! Its the kind of family that if Facebook existed at the time it would the kind that would make some envious jealous but look how the family turned out! Its crazy and Netflix going to have a field day on this family!
