Poor Dan. He was stronger than all the Adelson’s so they could only win by decimating him. He was winning in the courts. He was a loving father. He was going to win the next case which was supervised visits for Donna, the grandmother. She bashed him verbally in front of their kids. They thought they could snuff him out by having him murdered. He is getting his Justice now, one by one.

Horrible for people to kill one they once loved. I have an ex-husband. At some points I was furious with him, but I never, EVER, even for a moment, wanted him to die. Thirty years later, I still don't wish him dead. We aren't friends, but life goes on. Death is forever.
I meannnnnnnnnn there is someone who hurt me enough for me to wish them dead but I don’t have the guts to do it nor are they worth my freedom and clear conscience. So I settle for pretending they are dead (to me).

Wendi’s first reaction to being told that Mr Markel was shot could be in the front of the book of what fake crying and surprise looks like when someone has prior knowledge. She was awful and transparent. I pray that she’s next to get charged and I hope she doesn’t get on a one way flight to Vietnam. She very unlikable

Her ex bf was supposed to drive past Dan's house conveniently around the time the shooting occurred. Their mutual friends found her behavior odd. She was about to lose her law licence because of Dan. One of the hitmen himself said she was involved. Shall I keep going?

I believe that most people who commit or commission a premeditated murder are extreme narcissists. They don't seem to give a thought/care to the fact that they are taking the murder victim away from other people who love him/her . . . parents, siblings, relatives, friends, colleagues, and most importantly, their own children. Who, but a malignant narcissist is capable of that?
And Donna was a super narcissist who raised Charlie and Wendi both like her.
And don't forget that she also attempted to set up an innocent man to take the fall for the murder..... Had Jeffrey LaCasse not changed his plans to Tennessee or wherever-he-was-going that week-end at the last minute, he'd be sitting in prison right now with a life sentence while everyone else walks free....

@@TT-cj3ek I hope you are right, but the fact that those boys have had to live with the sociopath they have for a mother for ten years, while she allows them to galavant with the uncle who had their father murdered, and she refuses to allow the Markels to spend any time, or even see/speak to their murdered son's children is so utterly disgusting. She should have been in prison YEARS ago.... but she'll likely never be prosecuted because Wendi joined "the club" -- the ones who don't have to follow the same rules as the rest of society.

I work in Tallahasse. We haven't been on the map since the FSU unfortunately shooting and when Teb Bundy killed the young women.
They just convincted the hitman today on wctv. Honestly blew me away the wife actually got a hitman to literally do it.
I have to give props to Tallahasee Police for this investigation and taking their time to hold someone accountable.

No lawyer she didn't want to be near Dan. It was always about Wendi & Donna there was NO COMPROMISING. You felt pity for Wendi because Dan didn't read her book. You weren't there to see how terribly she treated Dan. Give the viewers a break.

Wendi Markel was a legal mediocrity, and received employment only because she was a trailing spouse. Her book flopped because it had no merit. There is the bitterness of thinking that you are something special, when it is actually your husband who is something special.
Wendi Markel was strong and empowered up until the microsecond where she transformed into a victim. However she wasn't a victim, she was a vindictive organizer of murder. It was organized with the same precision that she displayed when dismantling the house.

The bride and her family made the decision to have a non kosher wedding, against the groom's wishes. And he didn't find out until the actual reception. Huge RED FLAG. They never should have gotten married. That is major deception. Such differences in something so fundamental as religion and level of religious commitment, does not bode well for the relationship, at all.

They FULLY understood what the impact of that decision would be…not just on their new son-in-law and his whole family-but on half of their wedding guests. Just whyyyyy?! It’s practically an act of war, on what easily could have been a joyful day for everyone, including their own daughter/sister.
The only thing that makes any sense to me is that they are a family of psychos… at the very least they clearly possess that classic trait of making dumb & very bad decisions, due to their crippling inability to consider any consequences, via their ego.
Every couple getting married should have a pre nup on how the children, money, house, alimony, savings is split. You do this so one party doesnt hire a hit man to kill the spouse. If you cant agree in writing, don't get married.

What a nightmare for Dan Markel, even from the beginning. He accepted that professorship in Tallahassee before he married that viper. If she hated it there and wanted to live in Miami, why did she marry him at all? And that's nothing compared to her vicious family, butting in from before the wedding vows. Oh, how I wish he would have had the foresight to call off the marriage when that snatch Donna interfered with something as benign as the menu. At today's date, Charlie Adelson has been convicted and will be sentenced to Florida's mandatory life-without-parole, and Donna Adelson has been arrested and indicted for 1st degree murder. Lucky for society, Florida has an outstanding record for murder convictions, and they don't budge on the sentencing. The way the cases are progressing, Wendy will be next at the defendant's table, and maybe Dan's children will have a chance at a better life.... they sure have a burden to carry.

I remember this.. Lived in Tampa. This was just crazy and insane to happen to what seemed like such an awesome and amazing guy! Go FSU! Tallahassee and Miami are two totally different places. I do understand her feeling on that because I like Ft. Lauderdale so so much better than Tampa.
Between 2:57 - 3:11 I thought that Wendy in the story was the actress with brunette hair in the ad for the dating app, where she eventually met the man she was going to end up murdering. Then I noticed that the actress had her facial features and bone structure but very olive skin tone. Then in the very next scene, the friend had the exact skin tone, hair style and facial structure as the actress. I reminded to realize that whilst this was not so, the parents in the ad called their daughter “Wendy”. But then I think it was just simply an ad for the dating app, afterall.
What a roller coaster. Also adding the ad to the show was a nice touch but completely unnecessarily extra and it totally fucked me up for no reason.

A simple good bye will get closing sooner instead of dwelling on a issue such a family brake up.

I’d take an oath on the belief that Donna couldn’t hack the politics within the teaching community and left as it felt like a critical opposition to her manipulative, controlling narcissism. She probably fumed over the slightest constructive critiques offered up in reviews.

Im sorry to hear this. It came up on my feed and watched. My husband is trying to kill me going thru almost a 5 yr divorce now. I have no support whatsoever. He is stalking He is sending me death threats and the restraining order doesn't work if its not enforced. I live in fear everyday. I even had a rattlesnake out in my car. Wish i had help. 😢 Ive been in and out of UCLA with several health conditions. I put a video camera in my room which shows him drugging me and poisoning me.
