- Pilots don’t eat the same meals as their passengers do. It all comes down to the risk of food poisoning.

A pilot taking a selfie is not against "the law", per se. But it is usually frowned upon by the airliner if it is made public.
This has more to do with the airliner's outward image. They don't want their pilots to present themselves, and in turn the company, as unprofessional.

Pilots are not required to have 20/20 vision, or even very close. Yes there are vision requirements, but you can be a commercial pilot and still require corrective lens.
Flying ARK that’s what I was thinking. For the most part, as long as you can be corrected to perfect vision they don’t care.
They have to be correctable to 20/20 (glasses, etc).
@@samslar Assuming you have the numbers backwards, the diffraction limit of the human eye is around 20/7 with a wide-open pupil (ophthalmologists usually test in the dark). 20/5 may be possible for abnormally large eye pupils.

And any landing you can walk away from and use the aeroplane again ia a GREAT landing.

Truck drivers lives more than 7 days on the road away from family
neki tamo are used to work in the truck yard. We would get nothing but out-of-state truckers and they would tell me they would not be home for a 1 to 3 months sometimes.
Mah dad is a truck driver. He spends 8 days at work. But there’s a bed and fridge inside a truck for truck drivers.

My parents are airline crews and I 100% accept that pilots take a nap because one day I stayed there for a few hours then I went back to my seat
Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing, and any landing that you use the plane again is a great landing
I am training to be a pilot and I like how you used yoke instead of joystick, lots of people make that mistake. But it does depend on the manufacturers
Can't wait to start my pilot training soon. Hopefully I'll accumulate enough flight hours in 3 years, to apply to a major airline, then get through that rough first year

There's actually a system on board the aircraft called ILS, or Instrument Landing System, which allows the pilot to make a perfect landing even if there's to much fog outside the window to see anything.
8:52 Actually, that's not always the case. For example, at AA we can book a flight and request First Class for free, but of course there will has to be enough seats.

I remember when I was on a plane and when I landed, it was so smooth that the plane barely even shaked

I was able to go inside cockpit coz i was one of those kids who are interested in aviation and i was able to speak to captain if u ask u can go inside the cockpit but dont press any buttons
