    I had an 87 as a kid. I want to get one for nostalgic purposes. My family had much faster toys at that time, but this was my favorite! Always ran when the 2 strokes were getting worked on...that's what I remember most lol

    I had on about 20 years ago. Mine was a ‘91. I loved it and had a blast until I rode faster, better handling machines. I pretty much agree with everything you said!

    The prices are nuts. I got mine for $1350 and it's pretty clean. The z400 is better in every way I have one. But I like the short 1st gear on the warrior better. And it's a little lower feeling. Part of it is nostalgia as it was my first quad. But for 2500 I'm getting a z400 or 400ex.

      That all makes total sense. Thanks for commenting. And they still look great.

    Thank you for the "no b.s. " honesty . Isn't the 350 Raptor just a Warrior with updated plastic and BNG's ?

      Thanks man! The Raptor 350 did get a bit of an overhaul from what I understand. The engine has about 10 more hp, and it has improved suspension redesign.

    not the best four wheeler to exist by any means but perfect for any person who is inexperienced, young, or is gonna push the machine further than themselves and crash. I own a 98 and have rolled that thing countless times, but everytime it starts right up and i can ride it back home. Thing is bulletproof, as a 15 year old who has ridden other sport quads like the 400ex, I can safely say that its the perfect quad for someone who isnt the best. I can push the quad to its limits and sometimes thats what makes riding so much fun.

      Well said. Agreed 100%. And there is something to be seen for learning the limits wirhout dying or getting hurt seriously. Thats the way to become a skilled rider. Thanks for commenting.

      @@FunGoingFast it blew up on me. It was probably my fault since the oil was a tad bit low but it blew up nonetheless. Had I not been close to a road id be dead.

    I owned a couple of them....if you don't mind doing a little work on the engine you can make it a pretty strong trail machine...yes they are heavy but like I said with a little tweaking on parts inside and out it can turn into an awesome atv

    I just got a 1990 warrior 350. It has a super Trapp exhaust. We got it for 2000 bucks. I don't have very much experience riding. So I think the warrior is better than the 400ex. But I don't know if the 400ex is too powerful for an inexperienced rider so I think the warrior is good. Just the fuel efficiency is not great.

      I think any atv you enjoy and can afford is the right atv for you. The 350 is a great atv to learn on. Enjoy!

    I picked up a 99 with no spark for 1000, it's my first quad, it has a new stator a new coil, and the whole engine has been bored and upgraded. I have no idea what I'm doing and can't figure out why it won't start? Any suggestions?

    • @FunGoingFast
      @FunGoingFast  2 месяца назад

      Sorry to hear that. Do you have a meter? I’m assuming, since you said it has no spark, that you are able to have power from the battery, the ignition turns on and the motor turns over. About the only other thing I can think of is if the CDI box. Unless they did some kind of weird thing and somethings grounded. And make sure everything’s to spec with your voltage on your stayor and coil. Sometimes people buy the really cheap Chinese parts and they also can be questionable. But there aren’t that many things that can be wrong with it so just confirm each of those parts are working through troubleshooting and you can figure it out. Might be worth downloading a service manual.

    Where do you get all your parts from?

    • @FunGoingFast
      @FunGoingFast  3 месяца назад

      Mostly Ebay and Amazon. Ill do the parts houses like Partzilla or Motosport.com for OEM parts.

      Ebay, amazon, zoom zoom, Revilla, yamaha. Not much that isn't still available in aftermarket. Pretty much the frame and original motorcases are the only parts that aren't made anymore

      The Raptor 350 has around that. A stock Warrior had between 19 and and 22 hp new depending on which website you believe.
