Starting a RUclips channel is frustrating. It’s hard to know where to begin, what gear to buy, and how to make videos that people will click on. That’s why I made Master RUclips.
It’s your roadmap to building a successful RUclips channel with integrity. You’ll learn how to come up with compelling ideas, write & film high-quality videos with the equipment you have, and learn the a proven strategy for how to grow an audience (even if you have 0 subscribers).
The course is only open for 2 weeks (then it’ll close until later this year) so if you want to learn how to make great videos and join a community of creators go to slowgrowth.com/.... There’s a link in the description below so you can click on that to get more info.

Hey Matt, as a filmmaker and a regular traveller I would be very interested in seeing how you travel with your gear. Great setup btw!
ruclips.net/video/BtNAX36j1c4/видео.html
Same
same :)
I would love to have such workspace! Seems very cozy and warm. Like it actually motivates you to work, increasing your productivity without the clutter of course! 💗
Cozy vibes. Like the boho look. Well done 👌🏽
I really love your opening scene and appreciate your effort to introduce lightness to otherwise serious topics that you talk about.
What an amazing studio setup, Matt! This is giving me the inspiration needed to work on my own studio organization.
Your Master RUclips is truly one of the best courses on youtube and the community is absolutely awesome! Everyone is kind and encouraging and I have found my inner circle through this community. Thanks for creating such an amazing space, Matt!
I hate how Matt makes his ads so funny I'm unable to ever skip them. Always hilarious.
This is your time as an investor to buy shares in any company you have always wanted to get into but felt like it was too late.
You still need to be smart and cautious in this type of market. Make sure you’re putting money into companies who’s financials actually support their valuations. Make sure you’re still diversifying your portfolio and minimizing risk.
Don’t get me wrong market turmoil is when people can make a lot of money. But pouring money into a dying unproven company just because they’re down 80% is how people can meet financial ruin.
Donaldson acts like everything is on fire sale. Yeah a lot of these companies he’s pedaling could drop a whole lot more because they’re unproven companies with no earnings.
You are some 20 something year old who has never seen a bear market, right ? Bear markets last on average 18 months. Some more some less. This is the first inning. You are wasting all your cash if you are jumping in now.
I’m considering this as well. I want to wait for them to report Q1 earnings first though. That’s going to be the real litmus test on the state of our economy in my opinion.
I think we are arguing the same point here. In no way am I supporting or suggesting buying TTCF or any of that trash… my original comment stated companies who you originally felt like there was no chance of buying opp with the steady incline in recent time ex) Apple, MSFT, TSLA, and so on….
Fair enough. I think we do agree. Although Tesla is going to have to drop to about 300-400 a share for me to be interested.
Interesting that you are going back and forth. My partner is from Sweden & I'm from Australia. We move to Australia in a couple of months, not really sure for how long but we are pivoting our careers in tech so it is easier for us to pick and leave whenever we need/want to. All the best with the move again.
I'm so happy you found that camera!!! I've heard you mention that camera so much between here and the ground up show and how you wish you never got rid of it. Amazing.
I like that your tiny (140 sq ft) home studio is bigger than mine (100 sq ft) and I thought mine was a good size hahaha 😆
You say you're a bad minimalist. It's different for everyone! I think that your clean looking rooms and impeccable organisation is minimalism in itself. Set up looks great!
I love your channel ♥️ I'm addicted to your content; it's rare, unique, and extremely helpful.
The switch between countries is really interesting. Also we have nomads in Iran (traditional ones not digital) that switch towns based on quarters. In summer, they move to a cooler town and in winter, to a warm town.
So minimal and aesthetic in my opinion, loved it!🍃
This dude is so chill but motivating at the same. I respect him so much. ❤️
Remember:
“Suffer the pain of self discipline or suffer the pain of regret”
(love from a small RUclipsr)
hope everything is okay Matt. we appreciate all the work you do.
Thanks Matt! From learning new things to watching your old videos to unwind after a tough day at work, you've helped me grow ♥
Dude would love to hear more about this home-cycling from your perspective
Such a beautiful space! I just signed up for the Master RUclips course, so excited to get started and take my channel to the next level and be a part of the community! 😊 ❤
I really love the fact that you didn't reshoot the footage where you hit the camera!💙
Your course really helped me, Matt. I am nearly at the 1000 goal, but there are so many things from the course that constantly make a difference to me. And I cannot thank you enough for the Goodbye Metrics plug in. I don’t even think about that stuff and it’s just fun instead. The whole course was absolutely worth the very reasonable price.
Believe me my mom would be on cloud 9 if she had such a clean and organized child like you. All 4 of us keep improving, but we are not in your caliber.
As someone who enrolled in the last batch of Matt’s RUclips course, I can say that it was worth every penny. I have watched so many tutorials on RUclips and enrolled in a few paid courses, but Matt’s was the one I enjoyed and learned from the most. I highly recommend it!
I did so too and I am here telling that it is worthy of every cent spent...
If like me people are really beginning and feel discouraged for not delivering the same quality as Matt, it is because we are starting, it is called Taste gap, when you cant deliver the same quality you want to. Don't let it stop you... with time you will... I will as well improve.... I hope, things change right? right?...
:)
I absolutely love these videos' quality. They are so well planned!
Love your hand gesture and smile after sliding your closet opened 😆
I especially love the photo of the rock on the shelf 😛
This studio is a work of art, just like your videos!!
These videos are always so well made. Loved the studio tour, Matt!
What you mentioned about just starting out and not to worry about the correct gear is just difficult to grasp for a lot of people if they see camera/lenses equipment that is worth more than what they earn in an entire year
Yes PLEASE to a video on home cycling!!!
Your videos just make me want to watch more top notch quality videos! I watch all your videos. You helped me a lot to grow as a person, to think in different ways.
Hearing Matt say "solid state hard drive" broke my heart
yes would like to hear more about home cycling
Feedback appreciated. Needed more info and obtainable knowledge WhatsApp the number above , Endeavour to reach out"':;-
5:18 LOL that was an epic smile.
A great video.
And it works really inspiring to hear of you that you don't upgrade or buy new stuff unless you absolutely need to. I'm still struggling with this aspect and it could help me to adopt this mentality or thought process as well. So thank you for sharing that.
I'm also really liking your setup in your 'little' office. I'm finding it still really impressive and it looks roomy to me. I wish I had an dedicated hobby room for my scale modeling hobby.
But, unfortunately I don't have that luxury now. Maybe some day at some point, but it will probably remain a dream.
Great video to watch and keep up the great work.
I have to life and work in a small space, so it's nice to see that it is pretty similiar. Love the decoration as well.
I kid you not, this video was so good I didn’t realise it ended! I subconsciously wanted more!
Matt I see those hardrives piling up again 😂🤣🤣, excited for the inspiration sir 🙌
Let's not forget that the biggest payouts in the markets don't come from great performances but rather it's great promotions. Stay invested, diversification for streams of incomes is very important.
I urge everyone to start somewhere now no matter how small, this is literally the time for that, forget material things, don't get tempted,i became more better the moment i realized this.
You're right, but any Investment without a proper guidance and experience is suicidal.
Profitable Investment one can do now convenantly at this moment are.
: Estate
: forex
: Stocks market
Forex trading is really profitable, investing in it now will be the wisest thing to do especially with the current rise in bitcoin.
Obviously often times we just look for what to invest in and usually encounter these problems. It's either the money is too huge for what I want to invest or it could require more than expected.
Im all about organizing and I loved the little tricks like toolbox liner and garage hooks for my stands!
That camera organization is so satisfying
5:23 You can see the proud of being totally organised and minimalist 🙂
Considering the shots and angles this minimalist studio tour seems to have been quite a bit of work - and I apprechiate it!
Hello! Digital Nomad/ Touring Artist here - Would love a video on what home cycling is and how you logistically do that! and perhaps how if differs from being a digital nomad etc.
Hello Meredith
Damn, so much gear and organization for short video. This is top quality!
Now, I'm looking at my uncleaned room understanding that I'm lazy.
Fair enough if you don't want to deal with a NAS and a RAID setup, but why don't you use internal SATA hard drives with a hot-swappable case. That way if the USB -B connector fails on your external hard drives, which they often do and since newer HDDs don't use SATA internally but hardwire USB, you can just get new SATA adapter.

Enrolled!
Also writing this comment to come back to if a few years to show where it all begun :)
Have a great day you reading this
Matt & Nat, welcome to Down Under, stay creative, stay safe, stay awesome‼️
Love the mix of productivity tips and vlog format in this one. Make it a series!
Nice setup! That Lagavulin whiskey is amazing !
This is my favorite film of late from your channel!! Love the bts peek of your studio Matt! safe travel to Sydney!
nice setup matt, less is definitely more. i thought i needed to drop a mortgage for a fancy setup to record videos on, but all i needed was a table, a chair, and some accessories to make it less mundane
Just started your course and I just want to say that's literally the best course I've ever purchase ❤️
No fancy Herman Miller Chair, no expensive standing desk, no multi monitors. But this man's work was far better than RUclipsrs and Filmmakers that have all of those stuffs.
Home Cycling ... Interesting ... And I would like to hear more please. Friends are "cycling" between houses and apartments here but I've not heard this term before.
Hello Matt, I have some time in this channel, but I fell in love at 1:32 in this video. Haha
This course has being amazing
I am really happy that people who opened their channel long time ago before covid still uploading videos . We need normal life on this planet even though nothing looks the same anymore :(
The organization of this room is amazing! wow so nice!! How do you keep your projects on your hard drives so organized? Also, it’s super cool that you are going back and forth from Australia. I would be interested to know more about that lifestyle and what you like/don’t like about it!
“Potato quality” 🔥 Says so much 😂
That aussie accent tho... lol - Would love a video on your life between 2 countries - how you make it work with living situations & make it (semi) affordable as it's something my husband and I are exploring at the minute. Can't do the airbnb thing forever though!
Look at the organization! 😍🤤
"Hey, it's Matt" - Well, I could never tell...
Great video and great studio tour!
All the best in your move back to Australia mate.
Love this setup - definitely inspiring me!
Thanks Matt
Nice to have you back in Australia!
Thanks Matt! I've watched this at least half a dozen times! Emulating your system but tweaking it to fit my space a bit. Love this video! Have things changed for you since this filming? Would love a 2024 update of your office and storage solutions! Btw, is your MBP a 14" or 16"? Wondering if a 14" would be great for film editing as well as the 16:?
So funny with that 'first camera' - it was my first video camera as well :-) Sold it many years ago and placed all of the tapes in the bin many years later 😉
8TB hard drive is wild. You literally have another laptop price wise in your storage alone.. props lol
Great use of the space…looks great. Also, Sydney looks amazing 😀 I’m completely hooked on “Luxe Listing Sydney” Gavin Rubinstein is so inspiring
So clean, wouldn't expect anything less from Matt.
The Handycam made an appearance, hell yeah!
Great video as always Matt! Please dive more into how you're living in both the US & Australia. My partner's family is in South Korea while mine is in the US. We're thinking about our future and what are our options might be. Fan of your work since 2018!!
Good to see you're rocking the Horizn Studios carry-on luggage.
Hey Matt! Would be great to see an update about your situation living in two countries!
I am impressed with myself. You said you don't know how big it is, and I guessed 10x14. Then you said it was 140 sq ft. Spot on!
Love the updates Matt! Inspiring as always 🤗
So interesting to a tour of your tools! So many!
The posing KILLED ME hahaha
I love this more personal format!
When that 5:41 background music came up, I suddenly remembered another video from YT ;) iykyk
wow! so much work with the set-up.... I wouldn't be able to start because of the hassle of setting it up :D but gj! ;)
The table looks great, unfortunately they don't ship to Europe by default. Also the bamboo dividers are something I never have heard of before but was looking for for a very long time so thanks for the tour and showing your place!
Welcome to Sydney mate. Don't forget to bring an umbrella.😅
safe travels and great video!!
That The Rock photo... 🤣🤣🤣
Your studio is half of my home lol (really, that’s the layout of my living room, and. NExt to it is the dinning room and kitchen hahaha
One and only RUclipsr I love ❤️
That was really interesting ... but seriously, the accent was a shocker ! Ha ha. Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
Feedback appreciated. Needed more info and obtainable knowledge WhatsApp the number above , Endeavour to reach out"':;-
Don’t think I’ve ever been this early to a Matt video. Awesome bro looks great!
Still working on my accent as well. Hoping to bump into you in Sydney someday ✌️
Desejo boa sorte com o novo estúdio. Boa viagem e Deus abençoe sua trajetória. Sucesso! Um salve do Brazil
Simple and intentional I love it Matt! I have a small space myself it’s roughly 200 sq ft
Great video, Matt. Love the behind the scenes look.
Popular Opinion: Every single one of y'all agrees maTT made our day
I see that Woodford and Lagavulin in the back there :p
You are inspirational, i am learning your course, cant wait to make my own.
You really need to build a hard drive box where you can just drop those hard drives and pull up one at a time. If you just stack them you need to be lifting them up.
Thats so sick. Thats the same exact camera my dad used to make home videos of me and my siblings as kids. I played around with that camera so much.
