You will feel your car lighter and quieter when you attach raptor wheel on f150. so raptor wheel they have two option index 315/70 / 17r 113T with maximun 45psi and 315 / 7017r 121S with 65psi. Great review. And thank you for acknowledging the headlight-blinding-other-drivers issue that so many owners ignore. If you are putting on a leveling kit, adjust your headlights. And, if you are going to haul payload or tow a lot, don't do a leveling kit. It just makes no sense to take away the unloaded stance and make a loaded stance when empty only to load it down and make the backend squat a couple more inches and have your truck dragging it's butt like a wormy dog across the lawn. Ha.

    Looks good! What if anything did you do to recalibrate the truck (engine, transmission, speedometer) for the larger tires? Do you expect the larger tires to prematurely ware the transmission? Asking because I haven’t had good luck with any Ford automatic transmissions. In fact, of the last 4 Ford trucks I’ve owned (‘99 Ranger, ‘97 F-250 PSD, ‘02 F-350, & ‘67 F-100 w/C-6) only the C-6 was reliable. Now I drive a manual ‘15 Tacoma, but it’s too small and the MPG sucks. Considering a Ford 150/250 again but still am concerned about the automatic transmissions.

    The fact that Ford gives you cloth seats for $50,000 still sickens me (owner of a paid-off Ford).

      I like leather and the fabric ford offers. Obviously the leather is easier to clean, but the fabric is very comfortable!

      Zaine Ridling seriously. Last week I bought a 2018 F-150 XLT. All the bells and whistles but damn cloth seats

      I paid $45,000 for a 2016 Ram SLT 4x4 crew with zero options. A year later I paid $47,000 for 2017 F150 XLT 4x4 crew with navigation, heated seats and mirrors, back up camera and power everything. Yes it did come with cloth seats but for the extra $2,000 it felt like I got 10x the truck.

    Do you have to put a 2 inch level kit in the front before installing the raptor rims or could you put them without the kit?

    • @jeebugorn
      @jeebugorn 5 лет назад +1

      no, you have to do at least 2" level or they wont fit

  • @baspiobaire

    Probably the weirdest question you'll get on this... but brand of child seats? Have 2 in boosters and 1 about to move out of baby seat. Thanks in advance. Rest of the truck looks great.

      Sonny Dbaby... Did you do the 2 inch level? How did it work?

  • @ldean8360
    @ldean8360 6 лет назад

    I need real snow chains (no cables, full square or twisted link chains) for off road use. How much offset do I need to remove to fit them? Stock offset is 44mm and there is only about 1/2" of suspension clearance. I'm thinking that 24mm offset wheels would give just over an inch of room, that's plenty for decent chains.

    Do you have any issues with the tonneau cover holding water? I bought a used factory cover for a 6.5' bed that came off a 2015 and it is completely waterlogged and very heavy.

    I have a 2013 Ford F150 FX4 Super Cab 5.0L Coyote and running (2020) Raptor Wheels with the LT315/70R17
    BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2's and looking for a 4" lift I can use with this setup. Are there any lifts that will allow you to run the "OEM" 17" wheels? Theses are the +34 offsets. Thanks for any info you can offer!
