Just had my f150 lifted 6 inches with 35s. I like it a lot feels much better. I did want 8 inches of lift with 37s but as a daily driver I feel that 6 is good enough. 👍
@@AndrewNobleOfficial I was on a budget after installing four 10" subs and a 5000k amp so I wanted a zone lift with fox shocks but the shipping was going to take forever. I went with the RC lift and their new Vertex coil overs. 😎 they had it shipped and installed in less then one week!
37s on a 8” lift looses way to much turning circle, you would have to run stoppers just like on your 6” which cancels 15% steering lock , I have mine now with 12” bulletproof with 40s and now I gained more lock now .
Honestly, one of the more tasteful lift and tire setup for a truck I've seen on RUclips. I absolutely hate how trucks look when you get into the Bro Truck/Pavement Princess type of lift and tire setups where the tires don't even fit under the wheel wells anymore and the whole truck takes up 1.5 lanes on the highway and people have to drive on the shoulder to avoid making a head on collision.
good looking truck. Well done! I have a 2016 F 150 Reg. Cab XLT, 5.0 Coyote, FX4. It has 12,700 miles on it. I'm thinking about putting on a set of King coilovers and Total Chaos UCA's.
Very useful video. A question. I love the look of your F150 Do you remember what specific name of the white color that truck came in? These days in late 2023 I see reference to I believe they go by something like Oxford White, Star White and I think a third, and I would want the brightest, whitest white, which is what yours looks like. Contrasted with the black appearance package. Thanks. Personally, I plan on adding a smooth, black Diamondback HD bedcover to mine when I get it. That will make it even hotter looking.
Thank you so much! Appreciate you checking it out. The truck is in Oxford white and I believe the other 2 are Performance White and Platinum White. I don’t know which one is the brightest though. The black contrast looks awesome! Keep me updated! All of my new cars are white always haha
Comes down to what suspension you have installed on your truck, installing a fabtech or procomp suspension isn’t going to better your ride. With a lift/suspension you get what you pay for (most of the time) for example installing a Carli suspension system will make your own panties drop
@@chasesgarage4144 thank you so much! The tires were wearing on the inside not in the middle. The firs 5-6 inches of the tire were significantly lower than the outside.
YESS! I agree the 18-20's look better than the newer ones. Got the 18'f150 supercrew and want to do a lift but haven't went thru w it cuz of all the bad things I hear about lifting trucks such as bad MPG.
@alextrainor2552 no it doesn't lol ...WTF are you talking about. The only reason they welded this guys drop crossmembers was probably because they screwed up on the cuts they had to make ...... Ram 1500s are IFS and we never weld or have had to weld any part of a lift kit lol ....
@@KCWhoa correct lol .... they probably screwed up the cut to the rear crossmember that holds the front diff and said "damn, we screwed up, now we have to weld it" ...but what do you expect when you get your lift done at 4 Wheel Parts ...they have no clue wtf they are doing lol ...
You shouldn’t have needed to cut anything, pro comp lifts from 4 “ to 6” and fab tec for f150s no need to cut , I’ve installed lots and I drive an F150 on a 12” Bulletproof lift on 40” tires and don’t have any issues and mine has been on for 7 years . If I want I could put mine back to stock in a afternoon.
You do have to cut the rear crossmember so that the new crossmember can fit because of the front diff .... If you "installed lots" you would know this ... on the 2wd you don't have to cut anything because they don't have a front diff ...come on kid lol ...

My entire family got Covid right after Christmas. I was weary of the vaccine but I’m actually glad I got it because it barely affected me and my wife. We were still pretty sick but it was manageable. The only person in our family that wasn’t vaccinated ended up in the hospital for 10 days and almost died. But either way, enjoyed your vid. I have a lifted Ram but the gas mileage is beyond horrendous so I’m looking to trade it in on a year old F150 and do another build. What kind of gas mileage do you get with yours?
Wow glad you’re okay and recovered! That was the timing it seems everyone was getting it. We were blessed my daughter never got it. Thank you for checking the video out appreciate it s ton. Gas mileage is still pretty bad unless I’m driving a long distance where I can get 18ish. It generally stays around 11-12 on E85
So you really had 4 Wheel Parts install your lift kit? LMAO !!!! That was the first mistake !!! Not taking off that front spacer was the 2nd mistake and not replacing the stock control arms with geometry correction ones is the 3rd mistake on this hack of a job !!!!1 Your front tires are always going to wear uneven especially from the inside because of the bad angle this lift kit game your truck's camber ... You need front upper control arms for a 4"- 12" lift ... JBA makes some really good front upper control arms for these trucks. You will also need new tie rod ends as well as the kicker bars if you don't have them. Just being brutally honest here man, that lift kit on your truck is going to give you headaches, not because it's Procomp, but because they did it cutting corners. You should of also done the front coilovers instead of leaving that spacer/level kit in the front. I have installed tons of these lift kits and this is just not the right way to do it. They had to weld your lift kit on because they probably screwed up on the cut they have to make to the rear crossmember that holds the front differential, the front diff has to come down and the new rear crossmember can't get bolted on without cutting the bottom left corner of that rear crossmember. If you didn't get the kicker bars that stabilize the rear crossmember that is also the only other reason I would see them having to weld your lift kit on. Do you know if they even added the rear crossmember brace brackets? Your truck going out of alignment also has to do with the tie rods and the front upper control arms ... your truck is not holding the correct toe and camber angles .... I feel bad for you Man, you are going to have some issues with that lift kit install, I suggest you take it to a reputable offroad shop and have them take a look at it. GOOD LUCK !

Mileage goes down with any lift or increased tire size. With a lift you push more air, with larger tires you put more strain on the drivetrain.
