I'm curious as to how you supplied power to these lights. Did you daisy chain everything together into one power supply? Surely each light doesn't require it's own supply right? I just picked up two DETOLF shelves for the first time, so this video was extremely...enlightening.
Yeah, I was also wondering about the power source. How do people get a cable for power into these cabinets? I also have two and have been wondering about lighting because the figures don't look their best without it.
Yup, that's one of the reason on why we designed them to be powered by USB instead of typical cabinet lighting where they requires to occupy a wall socket on its own, our light kits are all powered by USB and they can be powered by plugging them into a USB Hub or adapter(not included), you can power multiple light kits on 1 USB hub that uses only 1 wall socket, as they are USB powered, they draw very minimum power and can be on for a long time.
Ordered 3 sets after watching your video. Also got the dimmer switches. Couple of questions, Did you feed the lights in from the top, or bottom? Why do you prefer the non black background? Thanks
Quick question...Did you start the lights at the top or bottom of the detolf? My Luke Lights arrived and am debating where to have all the cords go. Thanks!

I love your videos and have 12 Hot toys ready to display. I just built 4 detolfs . I'm going to buy the V shaped brackets from Luke Light. What is your suggestion for colored LED lights for my detolf? I love having the ability to change colors.
RGB led using Red, Green & Blue chip to mimic colors using the 3 chips for wide range combination. While they offers million of color combination, they do not produce a true warm or white tone. RGB produce light yellow to replicate a warm feel therefore you will get a more yellowish feel on your figures while it uses light blue to replicate a white tone which often illuminate a hint of blue tone on your collectibles. A dedicated white or warm tone chip are required for the true color tone feel that a RGB led can't produce. Depend on your requirement & needs, if you required wide flexibility of colors as your main tone source, then RGB is the way to go.
