I've been searching for something to hold all my collectibles for a while now. I'm so happy I randomly came across this video, lol. Thank you for the info, and your collection looks fantastic! Just added 2 to my cart.
I have it and love it! Way easier to assemble than most, this one you can genuinely do by yourself in less than an hour and the fact that it comes with lights already is so convenient
I had those issues of the pokemon comic in your desk growing up, love that little detail and good review. I might get a white one to display my gundam kits!
Had been debating on buying a knock off ikea detolf to fit with the four I've had for years but nothing felt of quality. Have been looking for something like this forever. Thank you for the video. Just purchased. You have a new subscriber in me.
i've never had a display cabinet but this video was really well done and your collection is impressive! thanks for sharing and thanks to the algorithm for pointing me in your direction!
Thanks for posting this! Bought this minutes after seeing your video last week, and put it together today. It's about as perfect for my needs as I could hope for. I deal in 6 inch scale, so I need to figure out how to fully use the entire space (like you did with your DBZ figures), but this is the best option for the price I have seen for an enclosed case. And I have been looking.
Nice Collection! Looks pretty good👍👍 Good review. Looking for my first dusplay case you must have gotten it on sale Amazon wants $230 currently yikes! Although there is a $30 off coupon.
Thanks for the review. I have this in my Amazon cart. It's a pretty good value esp w/ LED lighting. It's a particularly good value when it's on sale for $200. I agree with the lack of glass shelving (and back and sides). I wish it was elevated like the IKEA Milsbo, but whatevs
thanks for the review side-by-side with detolf. I like this unit to display sets collection, posting multiple figures together with a large & heavy centerpiece. No center frame to block the view, and the acrylic side panels make the unit a little lighter. Detolfs looks nicer I think when displaying single items with backdrops.
I have one of these cabinet. I really love it. The built in lighting was a big selling point. The motion sensor picks up from quite a distance, it picks up movement as I come down the stairs and lights up so I can immediately enjoy my collection. Personally, I prefer the blue light for my setup. They are very top heavy. I had to mount it to the wall because I have carpet and with just the smallest tip forward from the top and the cabinet is coming down on top of me. I had buy different wall anchors because the one provided was too short to reach the wall. Mostly because the plug is A/C adapter style, so it sticks out quite a bit from the wall. Another concern I have is the gaps between the doors. I still haven't figured out how to dust-proof it. It's a really good cabinet. I will be getting another one.
That looks so awesome. I been looking for something like this. Now I have to choose where to get it. Wounder if temu is good quality. Thanks so much for making the video
Thank you for uploading this video! I have been eying this display cabinet for a while but did not see many videos on it. I'm planning on moving some of my figures and movie memorabilia from wall shelves onto a display cabinet. The BROTTAR is nice for the price.
People who are complaining up the price going up on Amazon to $200 seem to forget that Ikea was charging nearly $150 toward the end for detolfs. That's the going rate now for knock off detolfs. This is a steal for what you're getting. More space, stronger shelves that aren't glass (and could explode) plus lights! Great video.
I was looking for a detolf to display my 1/6 scale figures but saw Ikea discontinued it and didn't like the newer version they replaced it with (I believe its called a blaliden) I'm happy as hell to come across your video!!! Liked and subscribed as well your collection is Primo!🤌🤌🤌 You got good taste my friend!👍
I have 3 detolf and i use them for painted wargaming minis, so ive added some shelves using cable bolts and acrylic shelves, and ran my own led strips. Still looking for a replacement option with glass shelves that are adjustable in height and number.
£215 here from Amazon in the UK. We alwys get so badly ripped-off over here! Looks great though. Tried the Temu link, but, of course, it's discontinued here 🙄
The US Price is $230-$240 on Amazon and Temu so you're only paying $27 to $37 which isn't terrible. I don't know where he got $150 from unless it was a black Friday sale or something.
Thanks for sharing these might be the display cabinet for my limited space and less hassle in making my own diy garage racks. Not to keen on building my own display cabinets, I've been known to some times Mickey Mouse projects. XD
Do you know what the weight limit is cuz I was looking on Amazon and I don’t see it I collect 1:4 scale statues from sideshow and I really do like this display cabinet?
These are great! after seeing your video I was sold! I got three of these and they are great! the only problem is they just barely fit inside the space I have for them and I can not get my hand in between two of them to the light settings without tilting them over slightly. I solved that problem by getting remote control outlets to plug them into. The problem I have now is that every time I turn them on with the remote, it defaults to the motion detection setting being on and it shows that blue tinted light. I want then to stay on until I use the remote to turn them off again, and I want the default lighting to be the bright white. I reach over and a turn the motion detection off and I change the lighting to what I want. I turn them off and on again a few times to test it and they work great. But then when I come back a few minutes later and turn them on again. It always goes back to the blue lighting and motion function being on again. Is there a way to permanently disable the motion feature and always have the bright white light on? Would it hurt the cabinet lighting if I just leave it on permanently? I would feel weird leaving it on 24/7 when I am not around them a lot of the time.
So... funny you say that. I also had the same problem and the answer is no. It does not save the light setting color that you pick, I wish it would tho!
@@BigHeroVince OK, I gotcha. thank you for the fast response and letting me know! I have been messing with them for a few hours tonight getting more and more frustrated. I could not find any video or thread with more info about the settings. I wish the controls were either in front or on the top etc. Even concealed on the under side of one of the shelves would be nice. I will just have to live with it then. Ideally a remote would have been a nice touch too. Considering the price for what you get. I still do not regret it. I wonder if just leaving them on all the time would be bad since the yare LED. they are really bright and make a good night light too. After watching the news with so many people loosing everything to all these disasters lately, like hurricanes, floods and now the firestorms, it really puts it all into perspective. I have little to complain about in comparison.
@ yeah, I love these but I wouldn’t leave them on 24/7. I did think about possibly swapping the panels so the controls would be on the left but the wires weren’t long enough. I also thought about buying another, dismantling it… splicing wire and removing the control so it is almost like a wired remote. Then I would tuck it behind the unit and fill in the side if need be with wood filler and paint. I really wish a wireless remote could have been included. I’m sure someone smarter than me has a solution for a light controller with remote replacement box.
Are you able to connect 2-3 cabinets together so they function off of one controller? With the remote on the side, it looks like you'd need to leave a gap between each cabinet. You said you bought 2? What did you do with the other one?
haha that would be sick, but this will be a child's bedroom in the future so I don't want to do that. Maybe something to consider when I do the house addition!
