@Tegridynews Obviously as expected but they are still very useful technology and its nice to have the option. I agree though, I wish that there was still an affordable base truck for the working man.
@@Tegridynews Since you're already spending 90K a few thousand more is insignificant, this vehicle is aimed at a buyer that has an urgent need for this level of capability in terms of payload and towing.
I like everything about this new super duty! The look, the technology, everything! Well done Ford! And I don't need all the fanciness of the limited so if I can get this capability in an XLT; I AM IN!
Old geriatric people that cant use a truck and shouldn't be behind the wheel of any vehicle because of all the drugs they're prescribed. These companies should be criminally charged, they're taking advantage of our elders and they're creating unnecessary threats on our roads
Hello..I just bought this truck, and it does have the 2000 watt generator. It was on the screen you just needed to push the button that said generator mode !! And the 500 horse and 1200 pounds of torque is unreal !
Looking to purchase a super duty dually to tow a heavy toy hauler, so I love the ProTrailer function as I'll need to do all that myself, unless I can train the dog to help lol! My only question is, will it also assist in lining up a gooseneck hitch to the truck bed mounted puck system?? The price is crazy, not going to lie, and I'm not looking forward to forking over that much, but I do like the fact that it will keep me safer by assisting with understanding weight and providing hitching assist and parking! Really need something that assists with Gooseneck hitching to the truck bed though. 🤞
Boost the Pro Power from 2kw to 12kw, with 30A and 50A plugs for trailer "shore" power, and This Ford would totally own the olds migrating to AZ for winters.
Good features but if you need this much help loading a trailer, one would have to take a honest look at themselves to see if they have limitations on trailer towing. It's nice but learn from someone who knows what they are doing. Hopefully you can get a higher level trim without all of this stuff.
It's ok... could make backup camera lines marking where the open tailgate is going to be, bam, just software instead couple thousand for cameras wires switches in addition to it
I'd rather buy a older Superduty like 2015-2019. Know how to back up a trailer. Buy a house, tractor, nice camper, etc. They have improved, but not 40,000-60,000 dollars improvements in my opinion.
Just give me a 4 door truck at a fair price( $60,000) with center console, big screen, adaptive cruse, heated and cooled seats, led lights, one backup camera and analog gauges. Oh and is it to much to ask for it to last 100000 miles without a major issue? 😂 I know how to add for weight and I can back back a trailer.
Facts, I went to order a 2024 Platinum and the salesman told me he's had one on order since 2022, and has a friend at another dealership that's had one on order since 2021.
Features available only on the top trims. Lighting up the tail lights for loading would be useful, but my work truck is an XL or XLT. Load dirt or a loader, see how filthy you get and drag it into 100+ thousand truck. Obviously this thing is for hauling clean, like your RV house!
Please remove all the electronic crap, lower the price by 50%, and we now have a truck that we can afford to use as a truck. Sorry but $100K for any truck is crazy expensive
kinda takes the skill out but understand the reasoning behind it......that front end though jeez, the older one looked better.....it looks like a toy or comic book, not high end for sure........and the cost is pretty insane but there are plenty who can afford them.....
It would not surprise me if ford filed a patent for that tailgate camera and sensor system so no other truck could have it. Even though they stole the GM bed side and bumper steps. LoL
Patents only last for 8 years unless they want to renew them that is why 8 years after Chevy came out with the steps in the bed Ford was able to do the same
I love all the new tech, but Ford is pricing 95 percent of their customer base out acquiring it. They need to cut there prices significantly or people will be forced into the used market.
All the tech breaks. My Platinum has been a total nightmare since day one and continues to fail. The best purchase I made was a 3rd-party warranty 10 year/100k miles….
Doesn’t appear that the actual cameras are any better. The 360 on my 2018 450 limited has turned to complete shit. Especially the front and side cameras.
All this good tech is great. But one thing that should be there is a front sensor. Why do other manufacturers have it, but Ford does not. It's one reason I did not go with Ford.
This video is a rip-off, used clips from previous video so a waste of time - with little added time input by TFL staff they created another video to line their pockets $
Cool tech, but I don't want it. This tech is way overpriced to begin with and repairing it, especially at dealerships. LED lights should be mandatory on all vehicles, they're more important than any camera system.
The new technology in the new Super Duty is well thought out and functional.
Just means $$$

They should add built in pill organizers since only geriatrics will be driving these. The seats should also be infused with icy/hot

I'm sure not many companies/farms can afford this at that price. They'd rather go with a used previous generation model Superduty.
As a business owner, I love it.

Such a great truck! Always loved em😆 love the camera at the top of the tailgate could’ve used that a few times myself!

Tim of Pickup Truck and SUV Talk voice cameo in the background of the skidsteer loading, lol. Fun times as big media events.
Love my 23 F350 6.7L HO Platinum Tremor.
Leaps and bounds above my 22 which was exactly the same model....which is saying a lot!

Good to see what will be available when I can afford one of these used in about 10 years!
The world has gone crazy when a truck costs over 100k!
Inflation
Only thing Ford forgot was a front end leveling system. To where it don't matter how much your towing that the front end will always level out.
That would be a great addition, are there other trucks that have that kind of function?
Still wouldn’t help with weight distribution would it ?
Thanks for your videos. They help a lot , keep it up

What do people actually think about the headlights? Kinda looks like the king ranch logo.
Lol reminds me of the trucks in Death Stranding with the weight indicators on the rear. 😂
Great - they just need to start mass producing the high end trim trucks. Hopefully production will begin in August.......

Does the Pro Hitch also work for the goosenecks

They should put a camera in the engine compartment so you can see when the engine explodes... or on the cp.4
The only thing a real truck guy wants is a backup camera to back his truck to the trailer like a real man 😂

I can back my own trailer and hitch it myself, and have enough $$$ left over to buy a second vehicle!
nice truck I'll be able to get in 20 years.
Any 2024 Superduty rumors etc?
I would be great to see a hybrid with pro power on board system on these HD trucks.
Kind of egregious for them to show off King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited-trim trucks when they can't even deliver anything higher than a Lariat.
