I just made these subbing out the corn syrup for maple syrup with flour as you suggested in someone's comment, and they turned out fantastic! Thank you for sharing your recipe. 😋
Hello Sharon. I'm making these this week. Wish me luck. Hope to have them as nice as yours. Be well & safe from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. ♥ Btw, I looked at some substitutes for the Corn syrup & Honey will be what I'll use.
Wow! This looks so easy. I guess because the shells are pre-made. I'm Canadian and I say (using another posters description) puh-KHAN, although some people look at me strangely when I say it.
Hii! 😁Definately going to try your recipe, looks devine🤤 wanted to know if i could use pre-baked milk tart bases? Do you suggested thawing it and re baking with the filling for 10-15mins?
You can replace the corn syrup with maple syrup and a tablespoon of flour, but you can't skip it entirely since it's supposed to be the "glue" of the tarts and help everything set.
Yum! Just couldn’t be easier than that! I am from Texas and we say puh-cawn, but depending on where you go in the US, you hear hear both pronunciations!
I tried this ready-made, store-bought for the first time in my relatively long life. They are too decadent, while good, the amount of sugar in them is high. Should definitely be tried if you never had them.

These are PERFECT for Thanksgiving and the Holiday season coming up...you really can't go wrong with this one!
That was easy! But can I skip the corn syrup??

Yummy, thanks! I may add a few chocolate chips in some to try out also.

SUPER EASY! Ooh, good to know!
Should I use salted butter or unsalted?
Unsalted! Unless you want salty tarts? haha
Could do maple syrup instead of dark corn syrup
You could try! Maple syrup is not as thick as corn syrup so try adding 1/2 tbsp of flour to help thicken it.
AMAZING THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟 DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜, AWESOME
where do you find the frozen pie crusts? What is the brand?
Most grocery stores will have it in the frozen isle. The one I used is a Canadian brand called No Name Brand (lol, actually).
@@SharonBeMakinStuff havent seen any in our store in the US hence asked.
@@rinkidey7736 I find them with the frozen vegetables. They also might be all sold out due to the sudden influx of holiday baking taking place LOL
I'm from Louisiana and we say pa-cawn.
As an American living in Canada I can say I’ve heard both Pea-can and puh-khan growing up. But the more south you go puh-khan is more common.
That is so interesting!!
Hey! Loved the video ❤️❤️❤️ I hope that you’re doing well!
I am! I hope you and the fam are too. Thanks for always supporting my channel. ❤️
Mini pecan pies

Maybe u can use less syrup. For me, instead of syrup, I used 1/2 c brown sugar w homemade dough.
Yes... a canadian desert where pecans cannot even grow... lol
Pehcahns, I was taught a pee can is kept by the bed of old people.
Where is the recipe?
Found it🤪
Pea…Cans… Georgia US southern humble folk pronunciation..🤭
