I thank my wife who made me discover this fabulous band with kingdom of heaven part 1 and I was pulverised I'm not exaggerating... (a masterpiece to discover I think it's their best song even if there is no bad song) I was very trash / death metal, I knew Nightwish but after Tarja's departure I hadn't listened anymore and my wife is a violinist so she loves symphonic metal and told me listen to Epica and you'll tell me what you think. This group has everything, they are all extremely talented, in concert they are very fun and nice. I love them . The death mix, sometimes black metal with her voice is just perfect , beauty and the beast

To answer your question Johnathan Ratliff no nightwish has members that were in wintersun. And floor Jansen of nightwish taught Simone Simmons to sing and were roommates at one time so all the bands have some connection that way. Wintersun Alex ❄️👍

Also they were never roommates. This coming directly from Simone to me as I am a top tier Fire Patreon member of hers. So you know and don’t unknowingly share incorrect info
