- This is a medley of the 20 best bass and drums jams by Muse! We put all ourselves into this work, trying to emulate Dominic Howard's beats and Chris Wholstenholme's crazy bass sounds. It was a hard work and we're very proud of it. If you like it subscribe or leave a comment!
Drums and Bass recorded at home with Guitar Rig, Addictive Drums 2 and soundcard. This video is only a demonstration of what we recorded before.

Citizen erased on drums is wrong
There’s a little one in hysteria, on the 4 snare fill, the first one is supposed to be double handed.

There's also a lil one on the hi hat (open / close) during stockholm syndrome, but it's alright anyway 😉 Very nice video and audio quality.

the bass sounds a bit to "electronic" on some occasions but this vid is great!
thank you! yeah, we recorded with an audio cart, so it's possible that both instruments sound a bit "electronic", but we looked for the most real sound possible :)
What effects were used for bass?
Tim Mikhailouski the bassist created all effects by himself on Guitar Rig Pro! :)

Love the dramatic tune down to Drop D. I thought you were gonna play Supremacy for a second, but it was Uprising, which I don't even think requires the tuning (although guitar does for the solo). I also didn't realise until now that there's only a handful of their songs actually in Drop D

nicholasbenetton Yess I know that's why it missed those!! MK Ultra has a heavy strong lead bass that fills his role perfectly in the song and Reapers has just insane basslines! But other than those missing its a refreshing work you guys did! Glad that you guys put Exo-Politics which is one of my favourite song ever!

What Fx pedals you have on the bass?
All effects had been created by the bassist with Guitar Rig and his pedalboard, he tried to let them sound the nearest possible to real sound :)

Was alright. Sorry, I've still not seen a RUclips bassist let Hysteria groove. It's not just about the notes, what makes Chris such an incredible bassist is that he makes technical bass parts sit.
Walter Webb we tried to emulate the essence of Muse’s songs. I’m a great fan and i think that it’s quite impossible playing like them.. that’s why i love their music: they’re unique, they’re gods in their technique with their instruments. I completely agree with you, we tried to do our best, hope u enjoyed it! :)
