And this is exactly why garment sew-ers should watch quilters. I need that wrist support so badly! And you've inspired me to just find some container to collect the scrap carnage that we inevitably have. Thank you so much!
Oh Jen the wrist support is a must have for sure! I am using them now as I type this✅No matter which way I move...they move with me💛Thank you for supporting my channel...I appreciate it very much🌸
Thanks for the tutorial. I'm thinking about making coasters for our next quilt retreat. And maybe the cord keepers. That would be very handy for my travel sewing machine.
Really liking your crumb coasters & the wrist savers (I've had carpal tunnel surgery once) should help with arthritis too...thumbs hurt sometimes I can't peel a potato! Cord keeps are neat too. You going for smart cookie award? I'll gladly nominate & vote for you!!
I'm teaching my 6+ year old grand daughter how to sew. I think we will start with the hanging towel from one of your other videos and then the cord keeper! thanks for the ideas. I think she was getting tired of small pillows. haha
You are so clever!!! You would bust a gut if I told you what I have used for years and years for cord holders. Empty cardboard toilet paper rolls! My ex- in-laws used them and empty paper towel cardboard rolls for longer cords. Cost nothing and it's a great way to recycle! Maybe using them with some scrap fabric Mod Podge'd on the outside of them would make them sturdier and nicer to look at. As they are, rather tacky to look at but they work very well. Frankly, I like your idea for gift giving, making 3 different sizes in matching fabrics - sm, med, and lg. And yes, your coasters ARE darling! 🥰
Thanks , i will do the cord wire and wrist support. Crumb coaster is cute , and I like the glue system you used on the edge. May do if I decide to try crumb piecing .
Wow! I loved the reversible crumb coasters! I had to make them right away and they turned out Wonderful! :-D Now my husband wants me to make them for all his 3 sisters!
Oh the ties will definitely work for packing up camping gear Glenda!✅ My daughter and son n law have a camper (Josie's parents) but they don't go nearly as much as they'd like to.
New to your channel, but an old hand at sewing and quilting. I would like to say thank you for refreshing my enthusiasm for quilting again. I am going to make the twists and coasters.
Loved them all but most of all the crumb coasters!!! Need to make them for my living room. Thank you for all your crumb tutorials. They are my fave!!!!
Thank you for your wonderful ideas! I made the cord keepers and used a bit of glue for those turned under edges, then ironed and it worked great for keep them lined up without pins.
Hello! I hope you have had a lovely day. I just got done my day in my sewing room and can now watch your video. I want you to know how much I enjoy your content and your talent. Thank you for post this video and I hope you have a marvelous week ahead!
great idea to pre glue the quarter inch opening on the coasters. I always have trouble hand sewing that area shut on projects. I like the coaster look. thanks for sharing.
I love all things you showed us here, but my favorite is the crumb coasters! They are fabulous! Another Christmas gift giving idea! Thank you for the video!
Tracy all of your ideas are really good. I will make the twisters. I made pressing hams with my left over garbage scraps including the loose threads too, I used duck fabric that I bought by accident when I first started quilting for the pressing hams, just because I could not find any pressing hams to purchase from any fabric store so I made them myself. Thank you for sharing these great Ideas and your talent with us.
Hi there, I just saw this tutorial and think it is wonderful. I love ALL the projects, probably my favourite is the crumb coasters, they look great and what a terrific gift idea! They would all make great gifts though, I want to try them all. I’ve been seeing a few crumb quilts lately and I think they are a fantastic way to use up and recycle even the tiniest bits of fabric. And you have such a lovely relaxed manner and explain everything so well. Have just subscribed, looking forward to seeing more of your tutorials. God bless you
Oh Diana...that sounds so painful. I hope these wrist supports help....I feel an immediate relief at the computer when wearing them✅ Let me know how they work out🌸
The cord tie interests me the most. I love the coasters but would opt to make them square. Any crumb project is great fun. Thank you for these suggestions!
Well, I thought I’d like the coasters best! But in the end, I really liked the cord wraps, and I’m thinking they might make great hair ties (I hvnt tried it yet!). But I hate the elastics bc they are either too loose and fall out, or are too tight and pull my hair and give me a headache. I wonder if they cd be modified for mask ties??? TFS 🌷
Totally might work over a rubber tie...not sure it would work alone though. Try and see. The floral wire is what I used in the nose for the mask to bend it ✅
Hey Tracy girl, I did send you an email but I’ll post it here as well. Are you using cotton thread for your cord keepers I don’t think cotton will be strong enough for the constant twisting. So I’m going to use polyester. And then of course I’ve made several changes lol like I always do but at least you got me started
@@TheSewingChannel OK thank you for responding. I would just like to add a suggestion for future videos, there are quite a few people who are not as experienced so I think mentioning what needle you use and what thread to use and also the stitch length would be extremely helpful I am using a stitch 2.0 with the polyester thread and I’m using a microtex needle but I don’t think I really needed it
@@TheSewingChannel OK good to know but do you mention that in your video that we would find that information in the description box? Does it ring any bells 🔔🔔
The cord keepers would be great for wrapping gifts
The coasters - I love all things scrappy 🥰
All of them. Especially liked the crumb coasters.
The crumb coasters are great. I can use up some more of my unlimited supply of scraps and create gifts at the same time. Thanks again.
You will be able to make some great gifts for sure Marian💛
Great easy fast projects!! Thanks Tracey!
Hi again! Sewing and enjoying my Tracy’s videos!
Wonderful! Watch away my friend!!!!💛
I love the coasters and cable ties. I'm going to make them both.
The twisters are something I haven't seen before. Neat and very useful idea!!
Very useful indeed✅ have fun making them Cindy💛
The cord ties are perfect!
They really are Jo...they tighten up good if needed unlike a lot of the homemade ones✅
You come up with things that others don’t. Thanks
LOL 😂 Cynthia...it's my brain....it never stops LOL...
Thank you for supporting my channel💛
Crumb coasters for the win!
For the win it is!!!!!🎉

Maybe you cd glue on some of that pretty scrapbooking paper to jazz them up! 😃
I used to make the cardboard roll cord holder as a kid. We would draw designs and color them with markers. My mom loved them!
