Yes Dry County from either Live from London or Madison Square Garden. You can’t possibly get the full effect of Bon Jovi unless you’re listening to a live version of their music.

I saw Bon Jovi 3 more times and I think the last concert of theirs I went to was the Crush tour and the last ever concert at the old Wembley in 2000… I haven’t liked their albums as much since if I’m honest- maybe Bounce but the rest didn’t grab me I’m afraid
One of the best live bands I've ever seen. I've seen them 7 times... last time they were on stage for over 3 hours. Jon has struggled with his voice in recent years, not surprising when he pushed it to the limits for over 30 years. but I believe he has had an operation to address that. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night, Bad Medicine, Lay Your Hands On Me, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, What's Left Of Me, We Weren't Born To Follow, Who Says You Can't Go Home....all great tunes.

It's videos like this, with this type of feel and vibe that makes me feel that I could go back to the 80s in a heartbeat. GOOD LORD, what we had in this decade and what we've lost. Every single member of the band was definitely highlighting themselves in this track: vocals, guitar, bass (though by Hugh McDonald), keyboards, drums; not to mention the songwriting trio of Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, & Desmond Child; plus producer Bob Rock.
I swear people were denying that Hugh was on this album as recently as 10 years ago. I need to look up when it was confirmed, though I heard it was to convince the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to accept him as part of the band after all.
@@kaffeice7 It's increasingly hard to be clear what albums Hugh was on, but I've seen several sources that say Hugh played on Keep the Faith and that Alec quit because he was having trouble learning the parts for the road. None of them have hit Wikipedia, but that doesn't say much.
This was the start of a different Bon jovi, early 90s comeback after the split at the end of the 80s. A new hairstyle, new sound and the start of a more grown up style of song writing. They did a live unplugged session 'an evening with Bon Jovi' around the release time of this album which is on youtube an well worth a watch. Next time you do Jovi please do 'Living in Sin'.

Early 90’s Bon Jovi live were up there with the best- check out the live version of dry county live in Wembley 95- I was at that concert and that was one of the best live guitar solos I’ve ever seen!

When those 2 songs came out, I would sing them at the top of my lungs, now they get skipped in my playlist or the radio station gets changed. It’s like the radio stations only knows those 2 Bon Jovi songs to play. Radio ruined a lot of good songs for me across numerous bands.
I played this album TO DEATH when it surfaced. They took a break. And came back with that sexy as hell hair cut and this album. All growd up. And oh my word…. Went to the tour for this one. At Wembley stadium. I rocked for HOURS! They are superb live. And this album was superb. Love the bass start to this one too.

in 1992, I was 12 years old, living in Austria. Rock Music wasn´t that big here - but I´ve growed up listening to my parents records from the 70s (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Kiss, The Sweet, Uriah Heep, and so on...) so I became a huge Rock Fan and in 1992 it started with Let´s get rocked by Def Leppard, God gave Rock´n´Roll to you by Kiss, Yesterdays and Knockin on Heaven´s Door by Guns N´ Roses AND: Keep the Faith. All of them had heavy rotation in the Radio and so I bought my first CD´s: Lean into it by Mr. Big (To be with you reached No.1 here) and Adrenalize by Def Leppard. This song always brings back good memories. I loved that times so much, especially everything what was released in 1992. You´ve reacted to Stay from Shakespear´s Sister and Just another Day by Jon Secada, also from that year. Other Songs I loved from 92 were Everytime we touch by Maggie Reilly, Kiss me by Indecent Obsession, Heading for a Fall by Vaya Con Dios, No son of mine by Genesis, Unholy by Kiss, Temple of Love by Sisters of Mercy and Sleeping Satellite by Tasmin Archer. wow, somehow I completely FORGOT about this song! I guess it got lost amongst the shuffle of the juggernaut-songs like "You Give Love a Bad Name, "It's My Life", and "Wanted Dead or Alive". The backing vocals are top-notch on this one and Tico's drumming is absolutely FANTASTIC. Thank you for reacting to this one, I had forgotten how good it is.
Jon was Alley McBeal’s love interest and Robert Downey Jr was her psychiatrist (after Tracey Ullman) in Season 5. Jon was also Helen Hunt’s ex-husband in the movie Pay It Forward with Haley Joel Osmet and Kevin Spacey.
This is off of the album of the same name released in 1992. It showed a more grown up band with a new look & style. Hair metal had waned and those bands that could make the transition found themselves doing pretty well in the 90's even against the grunge scene. Bon Jovi was one of the few that made that transition well because their music was pretty grounded in the 80's where some found themselves relegated to the 80's. This song kicks ass! One of their best songs in my opinion. It inspires and rocks, gets the hairs standing up with the beats, bass grooves and those passionate vocals from John with those sweet harmonies of Richie backing him up. The writing is excellent! Richie Sambora (Lead guitar) released a solo album in 1991 before this album was made called STRANGER IN THIS TOWN and wrote an incredible song called "Ballad of Youth" that you should react to. It shows Richie's talent and his vocals. Richie doesn't get enough credit for his contributions to Bon Jovi music but he was John's partner in the music they wrote and his smooth vocals behind John's gruff style blend so well.

This is a great song and my go to song when feeling fed up. Keep the Faith is a fantastic album from Bon Jovi. You need to do more songs from it like ‘ I Believe’, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead’ or If I Was Your Mother, In These Arms and Dry County . You guys please keep coming with more Bon Jovi reactions.
One of Bon Jovi's greatest songs features a powerful drum lead before Richie Sambora's solo, and the spoken section at the end is particularly impactful. Regarding U2, I recommend "Walk On," a very meaningful song.
Jon did an absolutely amazing duet with the late, great Chris LeDoux, called "Bang a Drum". Very simple, honest music, beautiful in that simplicity, and quite inspirational.
I was fractionally too young to really appreciate that when it came out, but it must've gone into my subconscious because a few years later when I heard it - as I thought - properly for the 'first' time I went "Oh, it's _this_ song!". The chorus is just one of those rare things that instantly sounded like it must've been around for ever, like it could've been taken from a hit at any point in pop/rock history.

Phantom Blue "time to run" all female hard rock band... terrific song. Nobody reacts to them, they were great. Guitarist michelle meldrum was married to Europes guitarist john norum. Sadly she passed away several years ago.

It’s absolutely stunning and I think you’ll love the acoustic versions of the two songs. Plus, you mentioned Richie on your I’ll Be There For You reaction and the performance highlights what he can do vocally. Promise you won’t be disappointed!

I remember this song when it was in the charts here in the UK but hearing it now this sounds like a U2 song, despite it being written by Jon and Rickie. Have they done it in concert? Maybe I haven't and it just sounds similar to their song Mysterious Ways and was out at a similar time. Am I tripping or imagining this?

Bon Jovi was one of the monster "hair bands" of the 80's. When that era died, many bands died with it. Then, in the middle of the "grunge era", Bon Jovi put out this album, and this title track came out. Jon cut his hair, but that didn't matter as they continued to stay relevant and kept putting out songs like this one. This is another song that Desmond Child wrote with Jon and Richie that turned out to be a monster hit, and one of my favorites. Jon's vocals are always strong and they are on this song, Richie's solo is outstanding...Bon Jovi will go down as one of the best rock bands ever. I am thankful I got to see them in their prime. Oh boy, it DID matter that he cut his hair and ditched the hair band look. I know I would have kept on ignoring them if they hadn't. Of course the change in sound helped too. I feel like hair bands were never huge in Europe, Bon Jovi became huge here with their new look and sound. I'm sure Jon Bon Jovi would have never modelled for Versace if he'd kept his original look.
My wives late cousin was a big fan in the 80s. She had lots of posters but our lass thought it was just this long haired, hairy guy. She first saw this video and went HELLO. She was a fan since then and wannabe future wife of his 😂
This is actually older Bon Jovi after they took a break to work on solo projects and the album came out on 92 right after Nirvana and Pearl Jam released grunge onto the world which is why you have the shorter haircuts and the whole vibe of the album was different than their 80's stuff. I saw them in concert at the old Giants Stadium and the version they did of this song was even better.

Their concerts were epic, the energy & emotions left us exhausted, wrung out &euphoric 🥳🤣. Blessed to have been part of it 🤩. Was thinking of support acts at their shows... You've covered most of them but do check out Thunder (suggest Backstreet Symphony) & Anthrax (suggest Antisocial).

in 1992, I was 12 years old, living in Austria. Rock Music wasn´t that big here - but I´ve growed up listening to my parents records from the 70s (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Kiss, The Sweet, Uriah Heep, and so on...) so I became a huge Rock Fan and in 1992 it started with Let´s get rocked by Def Leppard, God gave Rock´n´Roll to you by Kiss, Yesterdays and Knockin on Heaven´s Door by Guns N´ Roses AND: Keep the Faith. All of them had heavy rotation in the Radio and so I bought my first CD´s: Lean into it by Mr. Big (To be with you reached No.1 here) and Adrenalize by Def Leppard. This song always brings back good memories. I loved that times so much, especially everything what was released in 1992. You´ve reacted to Stay from Shakespear´s Sister and Just another Day by Jon Secada, also from that year. Other Songs I loved from 92 were Everytime we touch by Maggie Reilly, Kiss me by Indecent Obsession, Heading for a Fall by Vaya Con Dios, No son of mine by Genesis, Unholy by Kiss, Temple of Love by Sisters of Mercy and Sleeping Satellite by Tasmin Archer. Cracking album, virtually every song is a winner especially "If I was your Mother". Though my favourite song of theirs would have to be "My guitar lies bleeding in my Arms" from the "These Days" album.

wow, somehow I completely FORGOT about this song! I guess it got lost amongst the shuffle of the juggernaut-songs like "You Give Love a Bad Name, "It's My Life", and "Wanted Dead or Alive". The backing vocals are top-notch on this one and Tico's drumming is absolutely FANTASTIC. Thank you for reacting to this one, I had forgotten how good it is.

This is off of the album of the same name released in 1992. It showed a more grown up band with a new look & style. Hair metal had waned and those bands that could make the transition found themselves doing pretty well in the 90's even against the grunge scene. Bon Jovi was one of the few that made that transition well because their music was pretty grounded in the 80's where some found themselves relegated to the 80's. This song kicks ass! One of their best songs in my opinion. It inspires and rocks, gets the hairs standing up with the beats, bass grooves and those passionate vocals from John with those sweet harmonies of Richie backing him up. The writing is excellent!
Richie Sambora (Lead guitar) released a solo album in 1991 before this album was made called STRANGER IN THIS TOWN and wrote an incredible song called "Ballad of Youth" that you should react to. It shows Richie's talent and his vocals. Richie doesn't get enough credit for his contributions to Bon Jovi music but he was John's partner in the music they wrote and his smooth vocals behind John's gruff style blend so well.
Phenomenal concert!!! Puts me right back there watching this!
'Someday I'll be Saturday Night' is another of theirs that's really worth checking out - I dont think you've done it, yet.

This is a great song and my go to song when feeling fed up. Keep the Faith is a fantastic album from Bon Jovi. You need to do more songs from it like ‘ I Believe’, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead’ or If I Was Your Mother, In These Arms and Dry County . You guys please keep coming with more Bon Jovi reactions.

One of Bon Jovi's greatest songs features a powerful drum lead before Richie Sambora's solo, and the spoken section at the end is particularly impactful.
Regarding U2, I recommend "Walk On," a very meaningful song.

Jon did an absolutely amazing duet with the late, great Chris LeDoux, called "Bang a Drum". Very simple, honest music, beautiful in that simplicity, and quite inspirational.
Bang a Drum is from Jon's first solo album "Blaze of Glory", but yes Chris LeDoux covered it with Jon on vocal as well.

I was fractionally too young to really appreciate that when it came out, but it must've gone into my subconscious because a few years later when I heard it - as I thought - properly for the 'first' time I went "Oh, it's _this_ song!". The chorus is just one of those rare things that instantly sounded like it must've been around for ever, like it could've been taken from a hit at any point in pop/rock history.
Keep the Faith and Entre dos Tierras were played all the time in the early 90's...

There are a lot of beautiful things in the Thai culture too. You have chosen to marry your wife. Nothing is ever perfect - that will include for J. & Amber too. Phantom Blue "time to run" all female hard rock band... terrific song. Nobody reacts to them, they were great. Guitarist michelle meldrum was married to Europes guitarist john norum. Sadly she passed away several years ago.
Vert underrated. Band. Thé first album is absolutly fire, the guitar duo Michelle Meldrum/Nicole Couch was magic. Gigi Hangach was a Powerhouse.
Hope you do a song from them. Suggestions : why call it love, frantic zone, time to run.
Dry County the long version is a must. That'll change the whole perspective of what people had on Bon Jovi.
The 2001 live version of this from their Meadowlands New Jersey show is off the charts incredible.

It’s absolutely stunning and I think you’ll love the acoustic versions of the two songs. Plus, you mentioned Richie on your I’ll Be There For You reaction and the performance highlights what he can do vocally. Promise you won’t be disappointed!
Have a look/listen for Keep The Faith live at Wembley in 1995. The whole gig was incredible, but they absolutely ripped the grass up with this one.

I remember this song when it was in the charts here in the UK but hearing it now this sounds like a U2 song, despite it being written by Jon and Rickie. Have they done it in concert? Maybe I haven't and it just sounds similar to their song Mysterious Ways and was out at a similar time. Am I tripping or imagining this?

Bon Jovi was one of the monster "hair bands" of the 80's. When that era died, many bands died with it. Then, in the middle of the "grunge era", Bon Jovi put out this album, and this title track came out. Jon cut his hair, but that didn't matter as they continued to stay relevant and kept putting out songs like this one. This is another song that Desmond Child wrote with Jon and Richie that turned out to be a monster hit, and one of my favorites. Jon's vocals are always strong and they are on this song, Richie's solo is outstanding...Bon Jovi will go down as one of the best rock bands ever. I am thankful I got to see them in their prime. Great reaction!!
The term 'Hair bands' is a diss from the media, I don't know why people insist on still using it. Bon Jovi were always a Hard rock band, plain and simple
Oh boy, it DID matter that he cut his hair and ditched the hair band look. I know I would have kept on ignoring them if they hadn't. Of course the change in sound helped too. I feel like hair bands were never huge in Europe, Bon Jovi became huge here with their new look and sound. I'm sure Jon Bon Jovi would have never modelled for Versace if he'd kept his original look.
Bon Jovi and Van Halen were the only 2 bands from that era to survive grunge!
My wives late cousin was a big fan in the 80s. She had lots of posters but our lass thought it was just this long haired, hairy guy. She first saw this video and went HELLO. She was a fan since then and wannabe future wife of his 😂
This is actually older Bon Jovi after they took a break to work on solo projects and the album came out on 92 right after Nirvana and Pearl Jam released grunge onto the world which is why you have the shorter haircuts and the whole vibe of the album was different than their 80's stuff. I saw them in concert at the old Giants Stadium and the version they did of this song was even better.
