Their song "Something For The Pain" has to be one of the best songs I know to describe what it's like to be broken-hearted. While being a great power ballad. They started in 1984. You have to be talented to last as long as they have in the music industry. They're my all-time favourite artists, and that's really saying something since I like practically everything from classical to heavy metal. Jon is an incredible person as well. He's a devoted husband to his wife, who was high school sweetheart, and his kids. Not to mention all of the charity work they all do.

A great song from a great band. I always looked forward to all their music. You always recognize each band's style from their guitarist, Slash, Richie, Sir Brian May, Nancy, Joe Perry, Steve Clark etc you hear the intro and it doesn't take you long before you know who is playing. The 80s is still the best era for me, I loved being a teenage girl back then. Music was the centre of my life then, it kept me grounded and it didn't long for anything else.

Richie Sambora and Jon were childhood friends and was with Bon Jovi for 30 years, suddenly leaving the band in 2013 while they were on tour needing to spend more time with his young daughter. There's some discord there because apparently they don't speak to each other anymore but I personally feel after Richie left, Bon Jovi has never had the same sound/feel as Richie and Jon were a great writing/producing team. I'm still a fan but not crazy like I used to be.

The song J keeps referring to that he cannot remember is the song "Blaze of Glory", which was from Jon's first solo album Blaze of Glory for the Motion Picture Young Guns 2. It was released in 1990 and 7 years later he released his second solo album "Destination Anywhere", which won him the Brit Award for Best International Male Artist. That album went more or less unnoticed in the US, but it's probably one of the best albums ever released...period!
Back when you guys reacted to Blaze of Glory you mentioned you wanted to hear more of Jon solo, so without further ado, go check out the lead single from Destination Anywhere "Midnight in Chelsea" (long version) or "Queen of New Orleans", "Janie, Don't Take Your Love to Town" (just don't do the short music video version, it doesn't do the song justice), Ugly, "...Suitcase in My Hand" or "Every Word Was a Piece of My Heart"...

Y'all look up a couple duets... One with Leanne Rymes and the one with the incredible Jennifer Nettles ... and the cause the song was written for!

What a great song for you guys to react to. The lyrics in this song are so powerful, and anybody that has been thru a hard break up can relate to every word in this song. Jon and Ritchie wrote this with Desmond Child, who is responsible for may of Bon Jovi's hits. Its a gem of a song, and Jon and Ritchie are great together in it. Thank you guys for this, brought back many memories of the past, good and bad

I've been waiting for this song by this band. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Also, good to see Jay's eye is doing better. Thanks for the song.
Edit: The song Jay and Amber were trying to remember the name of is Blaze of Glory.

Hey, I just realized that you guys have never reacted to “Wanted Dead Or Alive”. When are you going to get to that the one? It was probably one of their biggest songs.

I don't know this one, I do like the Slippery When Wet album. I thought of a song with a similar title that you could react to, This Is Not A Love Song by Public Image Ltd, or PIL for short. I can picture the reaction & it cracks me up already! :D

I don't believe the band Bon Jovi would have been anywhere near as successful without Richie Sambora on guitar and backing vocals. He was intrinsic
