Their song "Something For The Pain" has to be one of the best songs I know to describe what it's like to be broken-hearted. While being a great power ballad. They started in 1984. You have to be talented to last as long as they have in the music industry. They're my all-time favourite artists, and that's really saying something since I like practically everything from classical to heavy metal. Jon is an incredible person as well. He's a devoted husband to his wife, who was high school sweetheart, and his kids. Not to mention all of the charity work they all do.

Jon and Richie have amazing chemistry. I'd suggest Livin on a Prayer/Wanted Dead or Alive acoustic with just the 2 of them.... 1989 VMA's. Their chemistry is off the scale.

This was the last Great Bon Jovi album. It was called These Days. A bluesy rock album. Something for the pain, These Days, and My Guitar lies bleeding are the standouts, but the whole album was great. They had a few good ones after this, but this was the last completely great album.
One of my favorites from Bon Jovi is Keep the Faith. It's one I listen to when running as it makes me run faster! 🙂 And Jon looks great in the video (as always!)!
I'm 27. I became a fan that was introduced by their post 2000s music. Check out songs like It's My Life, Have A Nice Day, All About Loving You, Make a Memory, This House Is Not For Sale, Every Day, and One Wild Night for more modern Jovi. I listed all ones that have music videos! 😊 I'll Be There For You is one of the best ones from the 80s. Always is beautiful but the video doesn't suit it at all. Some of my favorite ones that don't have music videos include Complicated, Luv Can, Bullet, Any Other Day, and This Is Love This Is Life, and We Don't Run to name a few. 😂
Richie Sambora and Jon were childhood friends and was with Bon Jovi for 30 years, suddenly leaving the band in 2013 while they were on tour needing to spend more time with his young daughter. There's some discord there because apparently they don't speak to each other anymore but I personally feel after Richie left, Bon Jovi has never had the same sound/feel as Richie and Jon were a great writing/producing team. I'm still a fan but not crazy like I used to be.

A great song from a great band. I always looked forward to all their music. You always recognize each band's style from their guitarist, Slash, Richie, Sir Brian May, Nancy, Joe Perry, Steve Clark etc you hear the intro and it doesn't take you long before you know who is playing. The 80s is still the best era for me, I loved being a teenage girl back then. Music was the centre of my life then, it kept me grounded and it didn't long for anything else.

These groups were built in the streets, schools, in the garage in the parks, pubs clubs and buses sleeping in motels, campers cars😂 They were friends who played the instruments and wrote the music and Rocked it. The band did take a break after 1996 to focus on other things... Jon Bon Jovi went for an acting career until 1999... Richie Sambora (guitar) released a second solo album. The song J keeps referring to that he cannot remember is the song "Blaze of Glory", which was from Jon's first solo album Blaze of Glory for the Motion Picture Young Guns 2. It was released in 1990 and 7 years later he released his second solo album "Destination Anywhere", which won him the Brit Award for Best International Male Artist. That album went more or less unnoticed in the US, but it's probably one of the best albums ever released...period! Back when you guys reacted to Blaze of Glory you mentioned you wanted to hear more of Jon solo, so without further ado, go check out the lead single from Destination Anywhere "Midnight in Chelsea" (long version) or "Queen of New Orleans", "Janie, Don't Take Your Love to Town" (just don't do the short music video version, it doesn't do the song justice), Ugly, "...Suitcase in My Hand" or "Every Word Was a Piece of My Heart"...

This was from 1995, the album 'These days' was a slower Bon Jovi record full of acoustic songs... It was also the first Bon Jovi record without founding bassist Alec John Such, who was fired... Hugh McDonald played bass and joined the band on tour (but wasn't on the cover or band photos) The grunge era of the 90's did slow down Bon Jovi's record sales in the US ('These days' still sold platinum), but Bon Jovi was still massive worldwide... The band did take a break after 1996 to focus on other things... Jon Bon Jovi went for an acting career until 1999... Richie Sambora (guitar) released a second solo album.
Bon Jovi reunited in 2000 and made a massive comeback w/ the 'Crush' album and the hit single "It's my life".
My FAVOURITE Bon Jovi song. Jon sounds great in part because of how well Richie harmonized with him.
Jon sounds great because he sings great! If David was singing backup instead of Richie, it would still sound just as good.
Jovi is my fav band, this is one of their better underrated songs.

The song J keeps referring to that he cannot remember is the song "Blaze of Glory", which was from Jon's first solo album Blaze of Glory for the Motion Picture Young Guns 2. It was released in 1990 and 7 years later he released his second solo album "Destination Anywhere", which won him the Brit Award for Best International Male Artist. That album went more or less unnoticed in the US, but it's probably one of the best albums ever released...period!
Back when you guys reacted to Blaze of Glory you mentioned you wanted to hear more of Jon solo, so without further ado, go check out the lead single from Destination Anywhere "Midnight in Chelsea" (long version) or "Queen of New Orleans", "Janie, Don't Take Your Love to Town" (just don't do the short music video version, it doesn't do the song justice), Ugly, "...Suitcase in My Hand" or "Every Word Was a Piece of My Heart"...

Richie Sambora, the lead guitarist from Bon Jovi is a real good singer too. Two great solo songs of his are "One Light Burning" and "Fallen From Graceland."

Have you done Bon Jovi doing dry county live at Wembley? That is one of my favourite performances- I was at that concert and it was utterly amazing but the performance of this song with the guitar solo just magic
