Super interesting stuff!! I recall seeing a mega-boss version of Vinsfeld in his HQ's ruins but that was it. I had no idea there was so many special bosses!
I own every game in series except the psp Japanese port never played the first game started the series with 2 played 4 and absolutely loved 5 but I’ll always love the boss intros on wild arms ii
I remember when I got this game it was around the same time marvel vs capcom was out I got both game carefully removed the ps security label and placed it on the back of the jewel case till this day all my ps1 (or x) games haves the OG sticker on the back of them
This brings back memories but I remember one boss that you had a drink like warm melt trigger he was like the mascot at this comic store I didn't see him or am I thinking of a different game?
I’d assume that it’s because of the GehennaNeros boss in the Hidden Trial Arena. Tim has to fight it alone and the boss replicates itself, and you get experience and gella according to how many clones he defeats. I abused this in my own playthrough to get some of the medium skills early and he’s about 9-10 levels ahead of the rest of my party.
SuperGameChecker i never heard about this bug, but also never saw sleep working for so many turns... maybe sleep + system chronos has this effect... or it was pure luck...
That's luck as well Lilka at lv 99 at full HP will either barely survive 7th moon or STILL DIE from it instantly so it CAN be impossible to kill if it LIVES long enough to use it EVERY turn so NEVER use the Viper Fang against Ragu Ragula since Angolmois is the HARDER boss. In fact at lv 99 the ONLY attack Ragu does that Lilka won't survive is Smithereen's but it rarely uses it but for that boss a lv 99 Lilka still NEEDS the fire ring only dark Nova at lv 99 she would still survive without the Dark ring equipped. Sadly Angolmois is IMMUNE to sleep and the CANCELER effect is useless since it only works 25% of the time.
Ghost is definitely not the hardest. Angolmois is much worse. So is Ragu. Ghost only has 50k HP, which can be taken out in only a few turns. On top of that, he's very slow so all of your characters can act before he does. I've beaten him with party members below level 50 and without TurnUndead. Just abuse his light weakness with Ashley and Brad (light rings), guard with Tim for the first Incur My Wrath, then Hi-Combine Dan Dairam. Having a maxed critical skill + best luck on Brad is quite handy too. But yea, Ghost is nothing really.
I remember my brother never could beat that boss and he never bothered to use Tim because he was weak in the early game. Once I figured out Tim's First Aid beats priority he was always a mainstay in my party.

glad this exists ive never seen most of these
I played this game a lot of times, Maribel is a very handy character in terms of secret boss fights. As long as you gather red powers for her.
Thanks
Welcome
It’s crazy how some of the status effects like Sleep actually work on these bosses.
When Brad's punches do like twice the damage of any of his freaking missiles.

I hope they will remake all ps1 games.
Why is Tim overleveled compared to the rest of the party?

Nunca consigo deixar o status sleep tá foda
eternal sleep on Ragu O Ragula?????????????

Sleep duration is between 1 to 8 turns for what i heard.
It depends on your luck status too.
how in the world he barely use 7th moon is there any trick?

So, the most useless spell, actually defeats the hardest boss in the game in one shot... I am speaking of the Ghost.
well, mostly, yes...
