It is time for someone from India to point out the problems within India ratger than using China as a Boogeyman for its failures. Imagine the power of Asia if India and China can resolve its borders peacefully by negotiation, join hand and seriously work together with BRICS. Only then that Asians can be a participant in writing the international rules that so far are fominated by the Europeans to continue its neocolonialism of the world.

      Per Reuters:
The value of announced U.S. and European greenfield investment into India shot up by some $65 billion or 400% between 2021 and 2022, Wednesday's report said, while investment into China dropped to less than $20 billion last year, from a peak of $120 billion in 2018.

The border issue is of the least importance to China as it has more than enough land it needs. And the border land in dispute are remote land of little economic value for now and for the future. India is hyping it up as a big issue when it is almost totally irrelevant to China. China is spending its resources and attention in many more important economic and development issues. India can spend all its resources squabbling about the border issue for all it wants. China does not care. Good luck to India's fantasy in the borders. But India should not push its luck too far. My opinion is he’d make for a cool leader not only for India but for all Asia and the world…
Pravin more likely go to the negotiation table (in an air of friendship and neighborliness) with her neighbors than to try and resolve regional issues by copying Americans tactics as Modi did in the Balakok and Ladakh stand-off or misadventures…
Modi extends himself as if he’s a God, sounds like a God, smells like a God, which is what Indians wanted and as such Indians will fall victim to the same wrath of God like Saddam did cuz Whitman don’t kid around.
Once the Chinese threat (of yellow peril) is over and done with, it will be Indians the Americans will go after next..:

Bro yourself is saying that Germany and France is major power .If Germany and France are major power then India become automatically the super power because India spend as much for its defence budget of Germany and France combined .in 2022 official defence budget of India was 70 billion dollar .According to the sipri peace research institute the actual budget the actual budget was 83.5 billion. India do not pay its 14 lakh strong paramilitary forces through its defence budget but by its home ministry budget which is also comparable to the defence budget of Israel .May be India is not paying its 5 lakh volunteers from territorial army at regular basis but definitely pay for their equipment's .in short the real defence budget of India in 2022 was nearly 110 billion dollars in 2022.As indian armed forcess are going through major modernisation thats why the actual budget could be even more than my calculation .permanent non lapsable fund for armed forces and paramilitery forces modernisation is not less than 30 billion dollars .More than the defence budget of many european nattion

I must add that my earlier comment was purely directed at your reference to the Maldives being "traditionally in India's area of influence". Other than that, I must admit that most of the remainder of your presentation is well-researched and factual, especially regarding the place of China in the global economy. While you have alluded to technological reasons for China's place in the global economy, currently and in the not-too-distant future, there are other reasons too. For example, here in New Zealand, the Chinese are increasingly more respected than Indians because the Chinese appear more sophisticated and refined than Indians, culturally and in social interaction. The air of colonial, British sophistication that some Indians exhibited in the 1970s has disappeared altogether, to be replaced by the brash conduct of such characters as your premier, Modi. This is certainly a huge reversal over the fifty or so years that I have lived in New Zealand. New Zealanders now choose to teach our children Mandarin as a foreign language at school rather than Hindi. While the New Zealand national education curriculum offers Mandarin as a school subject, it does not offer Hindi or Gujarati in spite of the fact that we have had a tiny, Gujarati-speaking minority since the 19th century.

Thanks for your objective presentation. It is what it is. There will be progressive people and leaders rising up in India who have the vision to know that all countries, including India and China, will benefit if all countries adopt a win-win mentality and cooperate for mutual benefits. However, I am not optimistic about the current Indian foreign policy. Hindu Modi seems to adopt a zero-sum mentality. At every corner, he is trying to undermine BRICs. I believe this behaviour is being moulded by thousands of years of Hindu hierarchical caste systems embedded into their DNA of all Hindu. This may explain why Indians have this behaviour " Either I am your Master or I am your Servant." There is no middle path. There is no win-win partnership. Indians believe in "If you win, I will lose" mantra. Maybe this explained why Hindu Modi is insane ( or extremely jealous) when countries are better than India. It can turn into volience. Indians from the outside seem to be very emotional and highly charged human beings. It is not surprise to learn that an Indian will kill his wife if she leaves him. Not only did this killing occur just in India but Indian diaspora living abroad. Why is India such a bully towards Maldives leaders when they visited Beijing, but it is not an issue when Hindu Modi visits President Biden in the White House. The USA is my master and Maldives is my servant. Is it their DNA controlling their behaviours towards other people, or it is more complicated??

Mr Sawhney has an excellent understanding of realities geopolitical world. IMO he and M.K. Bhadrakumar are two commentators that more people should follow to better understand this part of the world.
Why does Mr Sawhney has less than 100,000 subscribers ? He should have at least 1 million Indian subscribers.
Understand that China is largest trading nation in the world. Therefore trading in Chinese Yuan makes sense for many nations. India is not a major trading nation and this presents an issue of what do other nations do when have Indian rupees. Rupees are a domestic currency.
Modi's India is trying to play a very complicated geopolitical game in a geopolitical landscape that is both unstable and evolving. India is trying to sit on top of a very high fence between the global north and its desire to retain its hegemony and the global south that is raising.
Sitting on a narrow fence, places a bright spotlight on India. Each side wants to see which way it is leaning. India's actions are seen by each side as being either pro or against them. THEREFORE neither side can fully TRUST India.
Yes, the US wants to sell weapons to India, BUT not its best weapons. Those only go to select allies.

China success must have made them very upset, jealous and frustrating that many of their media channels, no a day we don't see negative news, fake news and propaganda reports bashing and mocking China like a dog barking at the neighbor daily. But the China just ignored the dog barking noises and keep moving forward to get their business done to achieve what they aim for.

He is not telling the truth on Maldives, India China tussle started after Manmohan Govt signed Nuke deal with USA, which BJP opposed. It was further escalated by QUAD, BECCA. Now China is using all India's neighbors to get rid friendship with USA, which India can't afford. China is using all money power to buy these small countries. Sri Lanka and Nepal have realized this game and they have now resettled relation with India. Maldives has gone too far making making personal comment. Maldives is also angry that India is supporting Israel . This channel is China paid so he talk more on GREAT CHINA.
