The mk1 S80 gasoline is surprisingly cheap in spareparts, if you repair it yourself. I was suprised to learn, that it would only cost around 600-700 EUR to completly swap the suspension system on the car. That's only marginally more expensive than a Pegueot 107 :D Got a +300k km model and the motor sounds almost new. The only real downside to the car is the fuel consumption. My estimate is 11 liter/100 km or 9 km/l
1999 Volvo S80 2.9 T6 inline six 272 bhp turbo with Simons sport exhaust,- 230.000 km/143.000 mi. modern classic Volvo luxury limosine in wine red metallic with only cosmetic issues bought for $3.000,- / 2.700,- Euros. I´m a lucky guy.
@@DoubleGFinese I have 03 no problems. Just mKe sure trans is good cuz the GM tranny they used have shift solenoid problems causing delay shifting. I replaced my solenoids with a shift kit for $60 and haven't had problems since.
