- A cast-iron skillet is an essential kitchen tool for any aspiring cook. But can Nicole Russell make a pro-level pizza in one? As Russell continues her quest to become a master pizza chef, she must face off against BuzzFeed’s Inga Lam to see who can make the most inventive pie using this home-kitchen staple. Will Nicole’s zucchini-flower topped creation be enough to conquer Inga’s bacon-and-shallot-packed pie? Judges Frank Pinello and Josephine Giordano will have to decide.

I definitely would say Nicole's. Cuz I like the presentation and zucchini flower that's something I've never seen before on pizza. It definitely feels like one of those pizzas that you eat if you're feeling adventurous

Really liked how well Inga and Nicole were so synced up in their thought processes. When each was making their pies, the other was finishing the sentences and finding the descriptors the first was trying to get out.

I love that this show has a competition format to it but doesnt take itself too seriously. We get to see 2 unique pizzas made in a competitive-ish setting but theres no overwhelming feeling coming from seeing someone you root for lose. Its just chill and fun.
a competition between two lazy, and poorly thrown together pizzas is no competition at all.

I just love watching this because of how nice, and appreciative, Nicole and her competition are with each other. There's enough mean-spiritedness in the world, and it's so great to see people be complementary with each other.

Shout out to Nicole's endless support and endorsement of her competitors while also always maintaining her pride in her own pizzas. She almost always expresses how proud she is of herself while also acknowledging the talent of the people with whom she surrounds herself. I like her energy.

Nicole's pizza spoke to me on a primal level. The "controversial" toppings (i.e. anchovy and chili oil) are my favorite kind of things on a pizza. She won in my book. Inga's pie would likely have been too sweet for my palate.
Who am I kidding... I'd probably devour the whole pizza.

I can see that, I think like the judges said it probably needed a salty component. Perhaps using regular bacon instead of candied would have rounded it out perfectly.

Already I'm liking Nicole's presentation and I like how the sauce is in the zucchini flowers. One of my friends who's a really good chef always told me that presentation is really important
