The example on 27:36 was by far my favorite from the book. It truly comes off as a real melody and not some type of lick like most of the other examples in the book

Great, some exercises look like themes for composition.

Love this channel. Thanks for reviewing these books! Curious to know what you think of your nylon string Godin (plugged in) compared to a non-electric, regular classical guitar tone-wise in the same price range. Thanks!

It's not a 'solfege' system. In Italy those are the names of the notes and they don't use the letter names. In Italy France and Spain those are the notes while in the anglophone countries it prevailed the letter names system and the Do Re Mi was relegated to a solfege system for singing. The dichotomy is now known in music education circles as the fixed Do vs the movable Do systems.

Literally my favorite guitar player of all time! Hey I have a question, where's the best place to print sheet music for standards?

Not sure what you mean by print but the best source for sheet music of standards are definitely the Real Book or any of the New Real Books. For chord changes the IrealPro app is amazing

I liked the way he states his favourite substitutions for each chord type, so you can decide which sound best to use or prioritize in each situation. Did he record his playing on one channel so you can use the other as a backing track ? Or that might be used on another one if his books

Yes you can probably do that. Forgot about that
