I'm no vocal coach, but I know a bunch and they all say Beyoncé is the superior vocalist. Most of them said due to Beyoncé's technique, control, and just how flexible and agile her voice is. So just because Beyoncé performs doesn't mean she isn't a vocalist

People don't even know the meaning of PERFORMING. Singing is an act of performing. Acting is performing. Dancing is performing. That was why the Grammys usually have categories called BEST VOCAL PERFORMANCE or BEST PERFORMANCE. Singing in a studio is performing. For vocalists, singing can be in studio or live.

Beyonce is more dynamic and has complete control over her voice and a godly type technique that I have never seen an artist use. Out of all the vocal legends, beyonce would out sing them in terms of techniques, riffs, and runs.
I think it's the tone of their voices that makes Hudson sound better.....Hudson voice is strong ...beyonce is not as strong....but both are great.....either way if you saw beyonce or Jen live , it would be way worth it....but if I have to choose one......BEYONCE ALL DAY.

The whole performance from beginning to end was flawless. Both girls inseparably were indescribably amazing. I love Jennifer & have done so as far back as Bees with Queen Talofa, probably even before that. I must say, this young lass has been the first that I have seen to duo with our darling Jennifer Hudson who actually could hold her own.To take that step & partner with a power house like JH took alot of nerve & she did everyone proud. Playing with the big girls in that arena isn't easy but JenHud is a loving person who is into uplifting unlike those horrid housewives.Well done!!! I loved you both.
