The 2000 ISO twilight picture is INSANE. I'm a hobbyist photographer of about 5 years and I own an Xperia 5 III as well as an entry level Canon DSLR and an action camera. I've shot all types of photos in all kinds of scenarios, and twilight shots are consistently the most difficult to handle, being very low light, messing with the white balance while simultaneously being lit enough to see clearly with your own eyes but never enough for the camera not to pick up some noise, at least in the dark areas. I don't think people here realize how impressive this 2000 ISO TWILIGHT FREAKING SMARTPHONE CAMERA SHOT is. If I attempted that with my current 5 III or my Canon DSLR there'd be noise everywhere. There's visually no noise in the shot. A straight out of the phone Jpeg has no visible noise at 2000 ISO. This is crazy technology and I wasn't expecting the new sensor to be THIS good.
I actually come back to some of his videos every now and then, and watch them in full once more, as I do my work; it feels therapeutic. Edit: his review of the Xperia 5 V is my favourite review, feels like a fairytale.
yeah..perspectives from a professional photographer...not from a guy who just want to make a content for smartphone camera comparison with no knowledge about camera in a professional way! that is why i'm fallin love with this Sony Xperia BEAST!!
In terms of camera - perhaps. It depends on your needs and skills. In terms of UI/UX - definitely not! The smartphone is not only about the camera, but also about every day usage
@@oleksii.lopasov Maybe. I used Sony Xperia 1ii and recently updated on Samsung S22 Ultra. I find my old phone more reliable in terms of usability, games, and overall media consumption. Yes I always waiting your Sony Xperia review man. Your artwork is masterpiece as always. Sony must be proud of you. Thanks for this amazing artwork ever I really adore you so much...
Without doubt, the best phone camera review I’ve had the pleasure of watching. It was obvious to me (a 50 year long pro photographer) that your review was of real life scenarios taken by a true professional stills photographer with a passion for his craft and image quality. Some simple and some intricate scenes captured with integrity to the ambient natural light available. A joy to watch. You’re video Olle has definitely made this old crusty shooter, who goes way back to film and darkrooms days to see the functionality and possibilities of using the Sony Experia 1V as my main walkabout camera instead of a dedicated camera, something I could never in all my old school ways imagine seeing myself doing. Sony should be extremely pleased with your output and presentation. One thing always holding me back from swapping over from iPhone has been my lack of tech know-how in using Apple devices and computers to using an Android phone within my system. Is it possible and easily doable? If so I’d be definitely be looking at making the changeover to the Sony Experia 1V, it was the manual controls and interface that won me over. I like to be in control of my final image capture. Well done. I’ve subscribed to your channel and look forward to more content from you. Kind regards.
@@MuhammadKharismawan Many thanks Muhammad for your reply. No I don’t use Apples walled garden software on a daily basis, I wasn’t even aware of its existence, but then I’m no techno geek. 🙏
Agreed. Unless you NEED Apples walled garden apps.....then it's very doable. Like anything new there will be a learning curve but I switched to an Xperia myself for the same reasons and I figured it out in a day. And I'm certainly no tech guru myself. I love the manual control of the Xperia. I don't think I could go back to not having it
Late to the party, but I think you'll find, especially as someone who's not particularly techy, that after getting past the (very slight) learning curve, the things you can do with Android far outnumber the convenient but exceptionally limited Apple ecosystem. As someone who has an iPhone for work and Android phones for personal use, I find myself almost never using Apple for anything if given the choice.
holy f bro i just watched that cinematic video and I'm just speechless i haven't even finished the whole video. Glad to see someone finally doing justice to the sony camera.
This video got me emotional. Much so that the camera review was not even important anymore, but the beautiful landscapes, the amazing views, the small details and it shows how satisfied and happy you were just by living in that moment and enjoying the sunset. Thanks for the video.
It's not the product which capturing great images, It's the artist behind the product who making it possible. I appreciate your hard work buddy, keep creating beautiful masterpiece like this.
dude what a fascinating review. My heart dropped the moment sunset began, the last time I experienced that kind of sunset was when i was a kid in highschool and all i wanted to do was walk, explore and take photos. To go to those places youve just been to and experience that awesome sunset myself would be a dream. This video reminded me how beautiful the world still is amidst this chaos we call life, you might think your life is uneventful sometimes but i would trade a lifetime just to experience life this way again. The excitement of looking at the landscapes while feeling the warm sunset light hitting your skin, i cant believe im stuck inside this box when all i want to do was to go out there and live a peaceful life. 😔
Before jumping into conclusion, please look at the reviews of previous Xperias from this guy. He is a master of advertisement and good showcase. I owned all 4 previous Xperia ones. To be honest all of them had a weak point - camera system. Unfortunately Xperias can deliver incredible photos with one adjective to add - SOMETIMES. I'm sick of it, sorry. Goodbye Sony and hello Google :)!
@@victorrumyantsev3718 Glad you mage that note, but as an editor myself I'm amazed that you can get that amount of information from the camera to create edited photos like that! I use iPhone on a daily basis and probably won't switch from the Apple ecosystem. But it's cool to see what the other brands can do with their hardware and software😊
@@tommypson By the way Sony is far behind the competition in therms of what they can do with software. I would say that they can't really do much. But they will never admit it.
