One of the few video's you have made that I don't have to do on my own car. Nice repair
Well I am running out of things to fix on this SS so it was bound to happen that you had something that was good to go that this one doesn't 😁
@@FoothillPaintandFabrication Will be good to see this project finished
Nice content. Old foam is dust. Labor is the same. Replace with new foam.
I learned a lot on this video. I see why they charge so much to do this. Thank you for your time.
Upholstery can be crazy expensive for sure but as you can see not all of them do proper repairs even for the money they charge.
Excellent video Mark!
Thanks Robert. This was an extra on this car. I knew something wasn't right when I sat down the first time 😆
Mark, good video as always thank you!
Thank you Rodney.
I have used appropriatly sized hard brake line for for spring repairs like that
Never thought about using brake tubing. Luckily I was able to source material and get it repaired. Just rode in the SS today and the seats still feel good.

For a broken wire just cut a small splice that both ends go in and a quick weld or if no welder just crimp so it won't move.

One more thing. These type springs are local at your nearby furniture upholstery shop and on line.
thank you so much for the insight i need to do my bench seats in my 69 Nova
Glad I could help. Send me some pics of your project and I will showcase them at the end of one of my videos. foothillpaintandfabrication@gmail.com

Great video Mark & I subbed to your channel! How much to fix a similar mess like I’ve got on a 64 Chevy C-10 Pickup bench seat would you charge??
Thanks and welcome to the channel. I just started on my GTO so I don't have time to take on any other work but I am sure you could totally do this yourself. Heck you could screw it up 3-4 times and still be money ahead. Interesting what gets stuffed up under these seats to just get by.
Is the frame of your seat intact or is it broken?
Mark
How do I sent my project pictures? Do I have to use a laptop or desktop? I dont see where I could send them on my mobile.? P.s. I just found you last week and already learning a lot.. thank you
You are very welcome, thanks for following along.
