It's amazing that even after being a vet for so long, you can still greet animals with an almost child-like sense of wonder. It really does show how passionate and sincere you are as a person (and your team too!). Chobham sure is lucky to have you, as are we.
I agree with you 100%. But just remember for the future, before commenting on the way a celeb acts, keep in mind what you see on camera isn’t necessarily what they are really like. Some are. Most are not.
It always makes me so sad to see these beautiful creatures abandoned. He's just a baby, no less. Dr Scott and staff take such wonderfully gentle care with dear Benson. Amen. May he find the best home ever!
Yes, but if they truly can't take care of him it's for the best. Maybe they did all the research and really thought they could care for him, but when the rubber hit the road they just couldn't. Or, maybe their circumstances changed. For example, I know a young couple who adopted a puppy just before they were due to have a baby, but the birth turned out to be horribly difficult and both mother and baby were left permanently disabled. The father couldn't care for a puppy, a newborn, and a newly disabled spouse, so he had to rehome the puppy. Don't assume malice.
Wow he was just incredible his colours were stunning. Sad he’s in rescue and a shame he has to live in captivity. Thankfully I’m sure the lady will find him the perfect home ❤ lovely video thanks
Benson is so sweet and stunningly beautiful, I am so thankful that he is being taken care of by such a wonderful rescue and receiving the best veterinary care at your clinic. Would love to see Benson again (and the sheer joy he brings to you is wonderful to witness).
On average a parrot will have live in 4 homes before they die. They are loud smart and with the right owner a blast to have. I have a blue and Gold as well and have had her for 20 years. She isn't very loud but lets you know when she want something. Will seek you out when the shower is running or if she thinks she is missing out. I would never have another but I would not give her up either.
My best friend had a red macaw and her name was autumn. They adopted her and had her for about 20 years. She'd scream her head off if u ate infront of her and not share lol. She was a spoiled girl, she got walks on the beach and everything. She died from a brain tumor and devastated the family
Was thinking the same thing. Benson could be the “meet and greet” at the practise and then be a play mate for Mangoe at night …….. Go on Scott …….. take the plunge 🦜
What a magnificent creature. God has created so many magnificent creatures. Too bad these creatures can't stay in the wild instead of in captivity. He really matches your scrubs and sign!
I do believe Benson has already found his forever place in life.. in your heart and new Vet practice! What an AMAZING addition he'd be!! I vote YES🦜 for you to adopt him!! 🗳 ☑️
One of the most beautiful birds I've ever seen. I'm sure the screen doesn't do him justice! The way u greet and interact with all animals truly is amazing. U have the best heart that any animal could "fall in love" with! ❤
Lovely story today seeing the three of you working together and fantastic to meet Benson, such beautiful bird and as you say so well behaved, would love to see how the story unfolds for this beauty and just maybe he will finds his way into your life? Loved seeing you so exited & smily 😀❤
Wow, what a gorgeous bird. It’s so sad that these birds are born into captivity and aren’t able to fly free in the wild but bless the rehab charity who does so much to make sure they are given the best home possible. Thank you, Dr. Scott and your team for your part in helping this bird. I hope we get to see Benson again.
It is lovely to see the care Vincent is getting. It is tragic that the owners were so ill-prepared as to what to expect that they gave him up after 3 weeks. We need international laws about taking birds from the wild, that are actually enfored. This beauty should be living free in its native habitat.
What compassion you have for all animals ❤ Also, it's great to see Nathan with you in your new practice. Still need time to get acquainted with Jason but, see the same qualities. Bless you and your team and new practice! 🦜💙💛
I was just thinking, since you and your fellow assistants like Benson so much why not use him as a greeter to the clinic. He's so gorgeous and would attact attention to your clinic.. Just an idea. God bless.
Dr Scott, You should adopt Benson and keep him at the practice. He would love all the cuddles and pats. Macaws are my dream bird. I love visiting the Maleny Botanical Gardens and Birdworld. It’s my heaven
With all the horrible things going on in the world, it makes me so happy to know there are so many people who genuinely love animals. This is my happy place. 😊
Such an extra special video! Benson is stunning. I agree with the others commenting. If you think Benson would be a good companion for you and Mango, I think you should adopt him! 🧡
What a lovely brilliant parrot. If I lived anywhere near the UK I would apply to give him hm a forever home. Benson is absolutely gorgeous! Kudos to you, Dr. Scott & your staff for the kindness & care you give to ALL your‘creatures great & small’. 😊❤
What a wonderful charity that is! They are providing such great care. The big question is... have you gotten Benson out of your mind or will he be soon meeting Mango? 😁 He really is such a sweet and amazing boy! 💕
Dr. Scott I think Benson belongs in your life. I remember a bird you fell in love with and took him home with you and Zoe was allergic to him so you had to re-home him. I hope Benson finds his way into your life. I can only hope. Love from Florida ❤️🦜❤
Hi Dr. Scott. Really enjoyed this video of Benson the Macaw. He really had a beautiful variation of colors. His Blue colored wings were really stunning. He really could do some damage with that beak, so glad that he was very gentle.
Benson is SO beautiful and SO gentle. I love his colours, he's magnificent. So unfair that so many animals get abandoned because people don't do their homework before getting them. I mean look at this guy, he's only a few months old and ended up in a refuge. I hope he'll find the forever home he deserves. With Scott and the refuge taking him under their wing, his future can only be brighter.
It’s completely understandable that Dr. Scott would fall in love with the gorgeous Benson. It was fun to watch this episode with this unusual patient. I hope that after Benson’s rehabilitation at Safe Haven, he finds a wonderful forever home. Thanks, Dr. Scott!
I couldn't help but notice that Benson's frontal feathers are pretty much the same shade of yellow as the practice's logo! Why not adopt Benson as the official practice pet/mascot? 🥰
That was great to watch 😊👏🏻. I think it’s fair to say meeting Benson not only made your day but your week as well 😃. You both definitely seemed to have a connection with each other and he was very happy to be with you. But if you’re going to be travelling with rescue work you’d need someone who knows what they’re doing looking after him if you took him on - and Nathan and Jason are perfect choices 👍🏻. Alex is doing a great job and would love to see more of Benson and how he gets on 🧡
Benson is absolutely beautiful ❤️. He certainly seemed to like you as much as you liked him and I can just see him becoming part of the Miller family, he will get really experienced care then 👨⚕️🧡
Dr Scott you have me in tears. We recvd a blue gold macaw when he was 15 years old. He didn't like men-, but took to the kids and grand kids. He was a mess. The deathen screens, the child like behaviors, and yes the mess. We lost him 6 years ago at a young age of 45. I miss that damn bird, he became family, and the lost still hurts. Always was told putting them under anesthesia was dangerous. Thanks for the memories
I have a friend who had one of those that he raised from an egg! His name was Alex. He got a full back tattoo of him, took him everywhere! He was the best bird! He unfortunately passed away from some kind of cold at 20 years old. My friend was in bad shape for a long time, we all grieved, we all loved Alex.
My neighbour has had red and green winged macaw...I've baby sat a few times! You have to be very prepared and know what your doing to own one as they are A LOT of work! The flip side is that they are absolutely stunning and very enjoyable! 😊🦜
In my first 7 years, living in the jungles of Paraguay, we were surrounded by these beautiful parrots, which flew around in large squawking flocks, and having noisy meetings perched thickly in one tree. A common, but beautiful, sight. This one SO beautiful.
It's amazing that even after being a vet for so long, you can still greet animals with an almost child-like sense of wonder. It really does show how passionate and sincere you are as a person (and your team too!). Chobham sure is lucky to have you, as are we.
Agreed!💕
So true. He is the real deal
I agree with you 100%. But just remember for the future, before commenting on the way a celeb acts, keep in mind what you see on camera isn’t necessarily what they are really like. Some are. Most are not.
@@bkm2797agree 👍👍👍❤❤
@redpanda74, It's a shame you have such little trust in those who clearly are making this world a better place. I feel sorry for you.
Benson is stunning.. may he find a forever home to be free to fly around in the garden....
It always makes me so sad to see these beautiful creatures abandoned. He's just a baby, no less. Dr Scott and staff take such wonderfully gentle care with dear Benson. Amen. May he find the best home ever!
For sure. Hopefully this baby finds a new home for the rest of his life. Its too bad the breeder couldnt take Benson back.
Yes, but if they truly can't take care of him it's for the best. Maybe they did all the research and really thought they could care for him, but when the rubber hit the road they just couldn't. Let US ALL know when YOU COLLECT BENSON AND GIVE HIM HIS FOREVER HOME❤❤❤❤
Oh what a beautiful boy! Only 18 weeks old? So sweet and so much life to live! I hope he gets a forever home soon ☺️
What a kind lady ❤
Benson's colors match perfectly with Dr. Scott's outfit and the writing THE CHOBHAM VET on the wall. Doesn't a vet practice need a pet?! 🥰
He even blends well with your practice's blue scrubs!
That bird is listening to everything you are saying !
Wow he was just incredible his colours were stunning. Sad he’s in rescue and a shame he has to live in captivity. Thankfully I’m sure the lady will find him the perfect home ❤ lovely video thanks
Benson is GORGEOUS.
Benson is so sweet and stunningly beautiful, I am so thankful that he is being taken care of by such a wonderful rescue and receiving the best veterinary care at your clinic. Would love to see Benson again (and the sheer joy he brings to you is wonderful to witness).
His colours perfectly matching with your uniform and the orange of your vet sign Scott 😊
Blue and gold macaws are my favourite birds. What a beautiful bird. Thank you for sharing Benson with us. Kim in New Zealand 😊
McCaws are so beautiful. He needs to be in a sanctuary with other McCaws.
Benson is a stunning boy! We'll be watching to see if he comes to live with Dr. Scott and Mango one day.

Dr Scott, I think you have really met your new family member. You are a match made in heaven. He can even go to the practice with you😍😍😍
Was thinking the same thing. Benson could be the “meet and greet” at the practise and then be a play mate for Mangoe at night ……..

He is beautifully colour-coordinated with the vet tunic and the sign - he seems made for Scott and his practice 😄
the birds colours match your vet's office hugssssss
What a magnificent creature. God has created so many magnificent creatures. Too bad these creatures can't stay in the wild instead of in captivity. He really matches your scrubs and sign!

Benson is such a good boi

Dr Scott you look good with that bird on your shoulder! ❤
What a stunning bird! I didn't know how difficult birds can be. That was a good education.
What a lovely parrot!
He has such a beautiful nature
